L'emplacement, la chambre tres spacieuse, la propreté.
Personnel pas tres cordial, manque de disponibilité. Demande de régler les nuitées uniquement en liquide...
Mauvaise insonorisation de la chambre.

We enjoyed the waterfront location; we had a small balcony from which we could see the ocean and we enjoyed breakfast on a lower balcony which faced the ocean. Our room was large and comfortable and transport was arranged to meet us at the airport and take us to the ferry at the end of our stay.

we think that the best of the property was the location….
we had a really bad experience ipon arrival, as one of the members of the staff at the reception had a very unpleasent welcoming to one of us.
Right after when we enter in our room we found that the room was supper dark and the tiles of the shower were cracked, they announce themselves as a luxury!!!!and is not at all!!!

Great location
Small rooms, and my colleague kept getting locked out of the upstairs where his room was and would have to climb out the window.

The Hotel feels like a family house. We took the Junior suite and we were very comfortable. The decor is exceptional - simple minimalist. We like the wood used in the refurbishing and the glass blocks of the bathroom, the red infra ray lights in the shower, and the icing on the cake, we we go to bed with the ocean view and wake up with ocean view. The breakfast was a little bit monotonous but nevertheless we liked it. The big shared dining table is the best way to get to meet other guests and have a chat. We really did not know what to expect before visiting Maio - we were kind of on an adventure trip because we are fond of nature tourism. Overall, everything about this place is exceptional.
Our towels were not changed for the 4 days and we had only one towel each. There were no towels for the beach. It would really be helpful to put also smaller towels for drying the face and hair and hand towels.

Location, the views and the manager Hernani.
We stayed for 4 nights, and not running hot water for the first 3 days.
We had to wait till 6.00 p.m. to check in,as our room was ocupied till that time.
We couldnt sort out the poroblem of hot water as the owner was in France,Hernani, the manager couldn't do anything to help us. The respond was that solar pannels did not work due to the lack of sun, which is untrue as it was pretty sunny and quite warm. Managment was poorly,as the owner is absent most of the time.

This hotel is very nice. I stayed in the Cesária suite which was lovely. My friend stayed in a first floor room which was also very nice. Breakfast was always fresh and the ladies in the kitchen are very sweet. All the staff, including the owner, was very friendly and accommodating. The rooms were clean and comfortable. The internet worked throughout our stay, although a bit slow, but this is true in much of Cabo Verde.
The furniture in the suite could use a good steam cleaning. My guess is less considerate guests went to the beach or used the jacuzzi and then sat on the furniture, which is ridiculous.
