Very nice holiday flat with nice balconies especially valuable during summer. Green views from rooms

The location is ideal, if you want to be in Northern Athens, in a quiet neighbourhood. The location is best if you have a car as it takes a bit of time to get out from the small, narrow residential roads around Kifissia / Pefki. Grocery shopping is easy as there is a great little market at the end of the road with friendly english-speaking staff who are eager to help - also if you need help to call a taxi. Greek hospitality at its best.

We arrived on a day with snow/frost - and the heating in the room, incl hot water, had defaulted due to electricity problems. Andreas (the host) solved the issue within the same day (great job), but we had a day with a bit of difficulty. There is private parking to the flat (one of the very nice amenities of the flat) but unfortunately there was no line markings done in the space between this flat and the neighbour - which meant that when the neighbour's car was parked slightly odd, there was difficulty in getting the car in place. Andreas pointed this out to the neighbour but line markings at the parking space would have been nice to avoid any issues. It could also be a good idea to increase the chimney efficiency if you use the open fireplace - I would personally prefer a closed fireplace to avoid any issues.

Exceptional

The house was fully equipped and spacious, making our stay very comfortable. It has a lovely balcony, the rooms are quite big and there is a parking space which is a plus! The area is quiet, ideal for familes and the host is very polite and responsive.

It was all great, however, if you don't have a car maybe it is not that easy to move around.

We had everything we needed in a perfect apartment for our family + were looked after brilliantly!

Andreas and his sons were wonderful: kind, generous and helpful, from the start of the stay to the end. The apartment was comfortable, clean and really well furnished -- even as far as having washing detergent, washing-up liquid etc so we didn't have to buy any just for a relatively short stay. The area is pretty, too, and there are lovely restaurants, coffee shops, a playground, etc not far away (and a mini-market and pharmacy at the end of the road). Perfect for all we (including our three-year-old) needed!

Really nice homely apartment with terrace over looking a quiet garden. Away from the noise of the busy centre but close enough to shops and transport links. Helpful and welcoming owners. We had a very relaxing stay at Mother’s House.

Nice family apartment, it was very very clean and cosy, the dining terrace was a pleasant surprise and the beds were some of the most comfortable we've ever slept in. Even if it is a bit far from the city center of Athens, it is located in a calm and quiet neighbourhood, just perfect for a few days of rest. We would return with pleasure anytime.

A comfortable, very spacious, clean, fully furnished flat.

Flight was delayed but host waited in person late in the evening. Needed to change arrangements - host was very accommodating. Availability of all you would need in the kitchen, and toiletries in the bathroom. Fantastic balcony overlooking a quiet garden.

Excellent, we loved our short but sweet stay at mothers house. Lovely hosts they couldn’t do enough!

We loved the apartment, great size and everything you could need is supplied! We loved having Netflix on the tv. Such a lovely caring family and it shows in the apartment, it’s very homely. We will return to mothers house if we return to Athens.

The host was incredibly friendly and informative, providing his number for 24 hour access should we need it. The rooms were comfortable and facilities beyond expectation. This property felt like a home away from home, and I will certainly be returning given the opportunity.

Exceptional

The house itself was big and clean. I love the balcony overlooking the garden with lemon trees. Stayed 6 nights and it felt very homey. Located in a good neighborhood, a very good area. Shops and cafes were few walk away. The host Andreas and he's son is very accomodating ang generous. We would definitely come back to Mother's house and we would recommend it to all our friends and families that wants to stay in Athens for few days or more. Thank you Andreas for a wonderful stay.

Very nice place

The host Andreas is very helpful and friendly. The apartment has all amenities that you would need, and more. Location is in a quiet neighborhood, although still in the city. Plenty of tavernas and bars in the vicinity, overal a well recommended place to stay.
