Hill

plan includes the main living area, attached to a fully equipped kitchen and dining area.
The living area offers plenty of seating and a gas fireplace where you can relax with
your friends and family. Above the fireplace sits a large flat screen television.

in showers. The king size beds have luxurious linens, so you are sure to get some good
rest. Each room has a dresser and a flat screen TV.
The BEST part about Skip-A-Rock is the unique, fun layout offering space for
everyone. Across the covered breezeway, separate from the main house, but attached,
is an 800 square foot game room with a second story bunk room that sleeps 6 and
additional bathroom with shower. This is PERFECT for keeping the NOISE LEVEL
down in the main house, and the kids will be happy with their own space.
Push the button to raise the garage door and EXPAND THE INDOORS TO THE
OUTDOORS and have easy access to the bar. There’s plenty to do with a pool table,
foosball, Xbox, and a shelf stocked with board games. A futon sleeps two guests. An
airbed is also available for two additional guests. A washer and dryer are also located
in the game room.
Enjoy the serene view of the 4 ACRE POND. Go Skip-A-Rock or fish. The cabin has
two covered decks, so there are several areas to sit and enjoy the view or warm up in
front of the outdoor gas stone FIREPLACE. There’s also a propane gas grill, large
outdoor dining table and separate large HOT TUB. The children are sure to love the
TUBE SLIDE coming right off the deck, for quick access to the PLAYGROUND. Play a
game of horseshoes or when the sun sets, gather around the FIRE PIT and have some
s’mores and watch the lightening bugs.

Cabin was nice and well stocked with kitchen stuff. The bunk house is great for kids beds a little small for adults.

Property was really nice inside and out, clean cabin, smelled clean, kids loved it and really enjoyed the hot tub and the game room, overall we really enjoyed our stay quiet neighborhood and really peaceful, most definitely recommend staying here!!

We had a great time at our stay, there was plenty of room the description was accurate our only complaint was that when we turned on all the lights and fans there was dust everywhere, dust came on the beds from the fans. The fridge leaked and made the floor wet, we had to keep a town under the fridge to stop people from slipping. The main issue was there was a sewer smell or terrible sewage issue in the hot tub, we were only able to use the hot tub one day due to the smell, which disappointed us the most. Other than everything else was good.

We loved staying at Skip-a-Rock. Our two families had a blast, especially the kids (6 total, ages 3-11). The really loved the separate game room and loft. It gave them space for themselves which the adult loved almost as much. With 10 people, the kitchen worked great and was well stocked.

Teens have their own separate wing. Just need their own fridge and microwave and they’d be set!

We loved property. It was perfect for our family. Younger kids had plenty areas to play. Only found dishwasher was not working. Also ants found in back bathroom and bathroom in game room.

Family Vacation
Fantastic! We really enjoyed Skip-A-Rock and all it has to offer. Definitely planning to return next year for another family outing. I was amazed at how well the kitchen was stocked with all the utensils and cooking items for everything we planned to cook.

Convenient location. Cabin was perfect for our family. I'd advise everyone to stay away from Broken Bow Monday thru Thursday the rest of the summer. Road work makes any trip to or from the park or town a real stress test. Incompetence of managing the work adds 30 minutes each way to every trip, no matter how short. The new resort and casino will ruin Broken Bow for future generations. But, this particular cabin is great for weekends in the near future. Bring firewood and spare batteries for remotes. None provided. The pond has one very small opening near the cabin but overgrown and not accessible other than that. Only 2 can fish from that spot. We did not walk around to the other end, so maybe better there. It was still ok during the week with light occupancy. The cabin and park is great, but the Broken Bow experience is in the process of being paved over. Shame on them!

Entire family...even the teenager...loved this getaway spot. There was truly something for everyone. The 4 master bedrooms located surrounding the great room/kitchen were ideal. The kids had a seperate bunk / sleep area above the game room. And then there's the wonderful backporch! And fire pit with seating! And play area for kids. Did I mention plenty of space to be together yet enough to have space and read a book in peace. Truly... I could go on and on, but to sum it up, everyone (yes, every single one) in our group are looking forward to another stay.

This cabin was the perfect layout, size and location for my family. The cabins are in a neighborhood type setting so some of them are very close to other cabins or there is a view of cabins everywhere. This was just secluded enough to feel like we weren't surrounded by others. The house itself is gorgeous and the pictures don't do it justice in my opinion. I do agree with some other reviews that you will want to bring extra toilet paper, paper towels and trash bags and any spices and nonstick spray you may need for cooking. We only had 8 people and there was plenty of towels and toilet paper for our group but a larger group may run out of those things. I will say the coffee maker wouldn't work the same each time we made the k-cups (sometimes it worked perfectly and other times it would only dispense a few ounces of what looked like tea) so I would recommend taking coffee filters and some grounds and make a pot of coffee since it has the option to do both. We only had k-cups with us so we made it work but sometimes it took a few brews to get a good cup of coffee. We had to contact the management group with a couple of questions and they responded very quickly each time. We all loved this cabin and would definitely rent it again!

Beautiful and clean
We celebrated my parent’s 50th wedding anniversary at Skip-a-Rock. Plenty of space indoor and outdoor for all the kids and adults. Beavers Bend Stare Park was super close and I highly recommend hiking there. The house was very clean and the beds were comfortable. Our family loved the large table and that was our main area we hung around at night. I do recommend bringing some items with you that our family ran out of: paper towels, trash bags, kitchen towels, and spices. I also recommend bringing all your food with you because the grocery stores are pretty small and very busy. Highly recommend and will be back!

We thoroughly enjoyed our time at Skip-a-Rock however we were a little disappointed with the property itself. Upon arriving the patios were excessively dirty and the patio furniture that wasn’t falling apart needed a thorough cleaning which basically took up the one and only roll of paper towels at the property. That being said, make sure you bring EVERYTHING you may need bc there is NOTHING at the property. I’m taking salt, dishwashing detergent, chlorine for the hot tub, etc. Also, neither of the controllers for the xBox worked which was very disappointing for the kids. We ventured out to buy batteries and were able to get one controller up and running. We would have asked the property manager to help but they didn’t seem to be much help when we asked for chlorine, which they never brought. Overall we enjoyed our time in Broken Bow because the location was great...right across the main road from the national Park. The inside of the cabin was tidy and clean and functional. But this property definitely needs to step up its game a bit.

This was our first time doing a destination Christmas, and we found the perfect cabin for our family of 7 adults and 5 grandkids. The 4 bedrooms off of the main room were awesome, but the main attraction for us was the long table that would hold all of us. Oh, and we LOVED the hot tub!! The cabin was well stocked with everything we needed in the kitchen to cook - all the pots, pans, utensils, dishes, glassware, etc. We brought our own food and prepared everything there and didn't have to go anywhere. The fireplaces made everything cozy and warm!! We had an absolute blast! Highly recommend this place!

Loved the lay out with all the rooms in the main house on one level. The 4 bedrooms were so comfortable each with private full baths. The fifth room with game room & bunk beds upstairs was a bonus at no extra charge. Unfortunately, our grandchildren were not able to join us, they would have had a great time in that room & with the playground. The kitchen was well stocked for cooking meals. We had sunny skies & cool weather during our stay, so we took full advantage of the spacious decks & beautiful views surrounding the cabin. We were out & about the area visiting the lake, park, & museum in Beavers Bend during the day & back to the cabin during the evening. On the last night of our stay, we gathered around the outdoor fire pit for conversation while we enjoyed cooking marshmallows. Thank you so much for opening up your beautiful cabin to our family. We definitely plan to return, next time, with the grandkids!

Absolutely Beuatiful!
The cabin was everything we could have asked for and more! It had all of the amenities we needed and comfortably fit our big family. The only thing we missed was not having a direct access to the pond and there was no clearing to sit and relax for fishing. Other than that it was AMAZING!

We had a great time.
The cabin was like new. We really enjoyed the open kitchen and dining area. The hot tub and the large deck was a favorite place to hang out in the evening.
