The house was wonderful. Plenty of room for 3 generations to spread out. Beautiful backyard garden where my kids loved chasing grasshoppers.
The kitchen was well stocked.
We loved sitting on the front porch in the mornings and during a random rain storm.
We will be back!

This is a wonderful place for grounding and gathering as a family. It’s in a great location with beautiful Mountain View’s.
This property is full of charm and wonderful character. The backyard is a little oasis with a charming garden. We are a family who appreciates the unique qualities of this property.
Added bonus was this was one of the best night’s rest I have had in a long time.

Our group of 9 stayed while we attended a conference. The house worked perfectly for such a large group. The weather turned hot (95) and the a/c broke, but our host went above and beyond to get temporary units in place while we waited for an hvac company. I highly recommend staying here.

Localized to everything you want to do and see in Ogden!

The were a couple of areas for improvement. The coffee pots was not clean and coffee had dried in the bottom of the pot. The main bathroom sink counter was not cleaned well but overall it was very comfortable.

This property was great for our stay with 4 couples. Plenty of rooms with large beds and group spaces were furnished well! We could all sit at the long dining table and there was plenty of comfy couches to relax on after a day of skiing. The host was quick to respond to all our questions.

I want to thank our hose manager and owner for making us feel safe and comfortable during our long weekend in Ogden. Our blended family of 7 was in town for a family funeral and the house was perfect. Spacious, clean and a nice neighborhood. The 3 full baths was nice to be able to get showers in a timely manner. Thank you again for everything!

This is our second stay at this house. It fits our family perfect whenever we come into town to visit other family members. Owner & host are wonderful to deal with also.We will stay again!

Recommend replacing the rug under the dinning table and not just “duct taping” it down.

House is much larger than the pictures suggest. Great location! Close to everything.

Seems to still be a work in progress. Worst issue is exposed tack strip that could lead to a hospital visit. That should be addressed asap. Plumbing backwards in one of the showers.
But if you need a whole house with lots of beds, this is your place
Friendly working class inclusive neighborhood with plenty of plenty choices within extended walking distance

Property was clean, freshly mowed lawn, pleasant back yard with beautiful roses. The host was Sweet and efficient. Cozy home and two large TV viewing areas. Wifi, all was good.

Perfect for our family ski trip with 3 teenagers. Lots of space to spread out and easy to get to resorts and downtown Ogden. Nice neighborhood. Highly recommend!

Lovely home!

Lovely remodeled home in a modest older neighborhood. Very comfortable beds and furniture. Nicely decorated.

The house was nicely redone inside. The master bedroom was so nice and the bed was so comfy. The fridge did leak a little, but I reached out to the owner and she got back to me immediately. The dinning table was perfect for all of us to sit around.

The house was as expected based on photos and description. Inside was clean. The couches and beds were comfortable, plenty of towels, TV's, and entertainment inside the house. The neighborhood was fine, pretty quiet. It was the perfect place to crash for myself and family, lots of space and bedrooms. If I had one tiny suggestion it would be to stock the bathrooms with travel size soap, shampoo, and conditioner. We enjoyed our stay, and would rent this house again if ever back in Ogden.

We had a great stay! Nice location, 30 minutes away from to ski resorts. Also close to downtown Ogden, which was fun to go and have dinner and drinks.

Loved the big front porch, reminded me of back home. Didn't go in the back much, just for my baby Zander a few times a day. Could have used more utensils and linens. But overall, very nice quiet neighborhood, will go back if in Salt Lake City again

This is a nicely renovated historic home, but it strongly felt to be someone’s everyday home. There was a refrigerator full of food, floors needing vacuumed or cleaned, almost empty rolls of toilet paper with none to be found, etc. Dave, the owner, came over to take out the food and he’s a super nice guy. I just hope the expensive cleaning fee we paid actually goes toward properly preparing the nice house for the next guests. I might try booking this home again if no other suitable option is available, because I know these folks honestly seem to have good intentions to provide good experiences for their guests.

By far this was the worst experience my family and I have EVER had staying at a VRBO. We arrived at the house and it was absolutely filthy. (Food in the kitchen sink, leftover food in the fridge, human hair everywhere, dirty toilets, blood on the bathroom vanity and on the bedspread and other things I will not mention). The owner was contacted immediately and one of them came by the house. He rudely walked through the house and stated that it looked “lived in” but was just fine. The cleaning lady arrived and he sent her away. We wiped off a corner of the counter with a clean rag and showed him the filth. Rather than apologizing and asking what he could do to make it right he ignored us. We literally spent hours cleaning, washing sheets and vacuuming the house. Later we talked to him on the phone about these issues and we were totally railroaded. We tried over and over again to explain to him that several different people in our party were all in agreement and we simply just wanted him to make it right!! We asked him to take care of the fees we were charged. He told us that we were all OCD. He finally agreed to refunding the additional fees that we were charged. We still have only received about 1/3 of our refund. My husband tried contacting him via text about the remainder and he didn’t respond. These people should NOT own or manage a VRBO. We have pictures to prove the condition of the house when we arrived and when we left it was very clean. If he would have given us a sincere apology and bent over backwards to make it right with us (as I would have done) we could have lived with it.

Charming Downtown Ogden Home
Great, adorable house. We appreciated that it's set up as a rental, so there's no personal stuff to navigate around. Spacious bedrooms and the upstairs/downstairs layout was perfect for our group of 5. Everyone had privacy and the house is pretty low-noise - the upstairs didn't wake the downstairs and vice versa. Master bedroom is lovely and the beds are all great. I was worried about the dog next door mentioned in a previous review but we didn't have a problem at all. A minor repair was handled promptly by the host. Plenty of towels. And it was nice to have condiments and spices in the house! Convenient to coffee, downtown, and mountain getaway time. Lightning fast wifi and nice to have Netflix and all the other services!

Comfortable house, convenient location, some noise issues
This house is well-suited to host a fairly large group (8-10). It has been updated nicely and has some good features, including a remodeled kitchen and plenty of living room and dining room seating on the main floor. Due to the age of the house the layout is a little awkward. The master bedroom has an en-suite bathroom, which is nice. The second upstairs bedroom accesses a bathroom by going through the dining room and kitchen. The three downstairs bedrooms share a single bathroom.
The hosts of this property were very responsive. They ensured that lights/fans were on for our evening arrival and even left a nice cache of fruit and snacks for us. There was some shampoo/conditioner/soap, etc. in the bathrooms, which was also nice. I did have to contact them during my stay (more on that later) and they were very responsive each time.
There were a few small issues such as no window coverings in one of the downstairs bedrooms, a strangely folded rug in one of the bedrooms that was a major tripping hazard, trash in the trash cans, dirty dishtowels in the kitchen and a refrigerator full of partially consumed food... It actually looked like someone is living here when it's not rented and they didn't really bother to clean up before we got there. That made me angry since the cleaning fee is rather high for this property... at the rate charged I expected it to be spic and span for my arrival.
The most significant issue we encountered was the late night barking of the neighbors dogs. Apparently, they bark when the owner is at work at night. The dogs like to do their barking in the neighbor's side yard/driveway area which is directly adjacent to the bedrooms of this house. It sounded like the dogs were in our bedroom. On two nights it was fairly constant for 2-3 hours from about 10-1am - keeping everyone in the house awake. I contacted the host who explained about the neighbor's work schedule. Once the neighbor got home and brought the dogs inside the problem was solved. This likely isn't an issue in the winter months (since the dogs are probably kept inside during colder weather), but is something you might want to consider.
If it weren't for this issue, I would return again.
