Enjoy the warmth of an open log fire and central heating as you share a drink with family and friends in the Federation lounge of this 1915 Mountain retreat. Set amid a large garden of magnificent pines and rare blossoms that reflect the seasons Ravenstone is protected from winds and offers endless Escarpment views from the broad verandahs.
Perched on the edge of the National Park, Close to Echo Point and the Three Sisters, Leura Cascades ,all premier walking tracks and Katoomba's town centre. 3 minute walk to two fabulous restaurants, or enjoy a dinner around the large antique table.Enjoy a BBQ in the garden surrounded by a magnificent collection of towering pines. The kitchen is equipped and ready to cook.
You have this very large, warm, self contained home to yourselves with separate kitchen, living & dining rooms and garden room, we welcome children, with room for two families or a group of friends, Linen and towels included. And yes, all beds have electric blankets.There are 3 Double/ queen beds , 4 single beds and two bathrooms.There is plenty of parking and a children's park and picnic spot across the road that has world class views.
Stroll around the leafy streets of this heritage area or take a short walk to one of many look outs without taking any transport.. just walk out the front door.

Coffee and tea are provided. TV, DVD, and CD Stereo also included.
Centrally Heated plus a real wood fire for fireside ambience to ensure that your stay at Ravenstone will be relaxing, comfortable & enjoyable.Initial supply of firewood included.
There is plenty of parking. Children are welcome.

Beautiful place
We loved our stay at Ravenstone. Absolutely beautiful old world charm, with lovely trees & flowers in a peaceful, relaxed setting. Nice & private, but close to all restaurants & shops.

This home is filled such old world charm and the view from the front verandah is amazing. Perfect spot for a cuppa in the morning and wine in the evening.

Perfect
I've stayed at Ravenstone before and knew I'd be back. It's the kind of house you dream about buying if you could.We went in winter and chose it because I love the old grand house that's styled the way it is and the fact it has a real open fire that works beautifully but is still centrally heated.The two living areas are perfect for when the adults wanted some quiet time .i also loved the big dinning room table that could fit us all around and could admire the valley views from while the fire was on. I'll be looking forward to retuning in spring as the garden has rhododendron , blossom and camellias that must look magnificent from the sunroom and verandah when in flower.It is great for a family, girls weekend or couples.Kathie

Wonderful weekend
What a great weekend. Superb house and although very spacious, it was always cosy and warm. Open fire was glorious and too hard to leave so we dined at home each night. Lovely backyard for the children to run about in. We extended our stay by another night it was so good.

AnElegant House of Timeless Beauty
We loved our stay at Ravenstone and were sorry we could not stay longer. The house is tastefully renovated, impeccably maintained, extremely comfortable and beautifully furnished with pieces reflecting an old style grace - totally becoming the house's era. The house is bright, light, with large windows overlooking the garden. The front verandah is serene, with lovely views of the escarpment. The house is perfectly situated, withing walking distance to Echo Point/Three Sisters/Leura Cascades, and Katoomba town and restaurants. Access to valley walks are directly across the road. The house's many charms are difficult to capture in photos. Well recommended!!! and Thanks to the owners, who have such style!!!!!

Beautiful Position
We had a beautiful 3 night stay at Ravenstone. Very comfortable and plenty of room for 3 adults and 5 children. The house is warm and cosy and has a wonderful view from the front verandah. The house was very clean and tidy - I would definitely recommend.

Fabulous location
We really enjoyed our stay here. The property is full of character and has a spacious back garden, inside cosy but plenty of room for our 2 families, great location right by the cliff walk, lovely views. It is old so don't expect shiny and new but it is clearly loved and well cared for.

Warm and well located
We spent a lovely weekend in Katoomba at Ravenstone. The house was spacious and yet cosy and warm. The location between Leura and Katoomba was ideal to reach the amazing views and walks around Echo Point and Leura Cascades.

Fabulous house
Thank you for an amazing stay at Ravenstone, we all thoroughly enjoyed the beauty of the house. We had planned a lunch out but decided the house was the perfect location to relax and enjoy the feel of the mountains, especially next to the roaring fire. There is amble beds and cooking facilities etc to make the stay totally comfortable. We all agree that we would love to return to Ravenstone again.

Plenty of space yet still cozy
A great place with plenty of room very close to the centre of Katoomba and all its attractions. The owner was really accommodating to our itinerary and quick to respond to my emails. Would highly recommend.

We stayed for 3 nights with 1 family of 6 and another of 3 with plenty of space for all to relax and enjoy. The easy access to keys etc made the whole experience VERY user friendly.
The house itself is perfect and we enjoyed it immensely as well as it's location. We would all love to return. Everything was ideal from the furnishing, linen, appliances, bedding, bathrooms and this is the best holiday house rental we have accessed and couldn't recommend it more highly.
One minor complaint (and truly is VERY minor as our experience was perfect) the TV could be larger screen and WiFi availability

We found Ravenstone to be perfect,(we stayed 3nights with another family.)The house was lovely and cosy,very clean and uncluttered which was great having a small child.It was also warm,quiet and extremely well equipped to meet our needs.The location worked really well too-walking distance to shops,bush tracks and the three sisters.Highly recommend and looking forward to a return visit!

Ravenstone is a beautiful old style home with two modernised bathrooms and a practical and user friendly kitchen, not to mention central heating which makes even the bleakest day comfortable. The owners agent "Tina" is a warm and friendly individual happy to assist in any way with information on local eateries and points of interest, able to handle any and all problems that may arise during your stay. The house has spectacular views from Katoomba to the east, the escarpment runs away into the distance and glows in the afternoon sun, it is truly a joy to behold. I have no hesitation recommending Ravenstone to anyone looking for a centrally located base to explore the Blue Mountains from.

Ravenstone was a beautiful art deco home with far more room than the photos indicate. Two full lounge/dining rooms and a gorgeous kids room with 4 queen anne beds. The girls loved it!We would not hesitate to come back..great location, fireplace and central heating. Plenty of room for 2 families. Ambience of the 1920's...beautiful!

Ravenstone is a large comfortable house which is convenient to all attractions and shops yet it is still in a quiet location apart from the tourist bustle. The house provides all comforts. Dealings with owners and local agent were cordial and efficient. We have stayed at Ravenstone twice and we will certainly be looking to stay again in the future.
