Best view, but can be better

The location and view was gorgeous. Direct view of the sea, very pretty! The open shower concept was nice. They have an infinity pool and restaurant again with great view

Overall good, room could be a little bigger and the jetspray hurt. The bathroom tap had salty water which was a little offputting.

Luxurious little hotel with great staff, loved our time here!

True luxury from when we arrived at the hotel, luggage taken to our room, air conditioned room with TV and outdoor ensuite bathroom, bottles of water provided every day, ocean view, infinity pool happy hour cocktails, spa on site, restaurant and bar well designed - Special mention to Ari at Front Office who was very helpful and the ladies in the spa - best massage weve both had

Tours provided were not really a tour, you’re basically hiring an driver to take you round the island to a few nice places, couple of problems which were more unfortunate such as spa gun not working for aromatherapy treatment and a few of the sun lounger cushions being washed meaning we couldn’t lay comfortably by the pool on one of the days (probably better doing this overnight instead of during the day) also restaurant food choice was not local cuisine, we preferred the restaurant down the road called Ogix Warung

As we were vegetarians, there are not many options . They had limited breakfast only. But the view from our cottage was really good. The water in the shower area and wash basin was little salty though.

should have more options for breakfast.

Exceptional!

Amazing serenity and ambience. Staff go the extra mile to make the stay as wonderful as possible. Able to arrange scooter rental and accommodate extra request to have it pre-filled with more petrol to save us the hassle of going to gas station. Evening cocktails are unique and some of the best I had!

Water pressure for shower is too low.

It was perfect

Everything! The place was just beautiful and the staff was outstanding. They looked after us amazingly. My partner wasn’t feeling well and they help us to get him the right medication, and prepared the right food for him without hesitation!! Loved it!!

Overall a pleasant stay at this resort!

The staff were super kind and attentive. Rooms are clean and comfortable. Relaxing spa and amazing sea view from 1st floor bungalow and pool.

It can get really noisy with the construction site behind and the road (expect a lot of scooters and cars passing by). 2nd floor rooms are a lot less interesting than 1st floor one - ask about availability of 2nd floor before confirming your booking.

Angkal Resort - Nusa Penida's Hidden Secret

The resort was just across the road from the beach, so the pool was an infinity pool with an amazing view of the sunrise. We were given 2 rooms which were fairly comfortable with a nice balcony just facing the pool. The resort also had a spa where my husband and I had a good massage. The restaurant served quite good food. For all our requests, the staff were also very responsive and very friendly.

The resort was quite a drive away from the jetty. Also while it was located by the sea, the beach wasn't too accessible. The resort was clean enough although we were plagued by flies when dining at the restaurant. The rooms were on the smallish side and the TV didn't work too well in one of them.

A beautiful place to escape the crowds of nusa / bali

The pool was the star of the show, it was incredibly beautiful, looking out into the ocean! The whole resort is so peaceful and quiet, the perfect place for rest and relaxation. The staff are so helpful at sorting out anything you need, and free port pick up and drop off is included which is a great bonus.

The location is fairly remote which means you need a scooter or taxi to get around.

Loved everything, this accommodation exceeded my expectations, props to the staff for being quick, available and giving us extra bottles of water every midnight when we call cause of previous Bali belly. Honestly nothing bad to say, we're definitely coming back here.

Superb

Great location, near to Diamond beach, about 30 minutes away by scooter. It is a bit far from snorkeling activity start point, so plan accordingly. Rooms were large and spacious. Lupita the receptionist was very cheerful and helpful. The hotel even arranged complimentary pick up and drop off to the Nusa Penida fastboat harbour.

The complimentary breakfast and dinner menu options were limited. The breads were hard. It gets very sunny in the dining area during breakfast.

Enjoyed our stay 100%. Suggesting taking a SPA lrocedures.

Amazing friendly staff. A place with a beautiful view of the ocean. We received a transfer there and back from the port. In 20 minutes, with short notice, we received the scooters to travel the island. A really good SPA is available. Restaurant with good food so you do not need to go somewhere.

Best hotel on Penida. Location as good as anywhere for exploring, right near the Cave Temple. great pool and massages for scattering around that!

The food is good enough for a weekend but really could do with stepping up a few levels.

Great value for money

Excellent food at the resort. Probably one of the best I had on Bali , malaysia trip. Staff were very good , helpful & accomodating. Excellent swimming pool. The tickets booked for ferry by the hotel were cheaper than the counter price even after giving their commission.

Location was a little far from the main area. Scooty rental provided at the resort was expensive.

Nice hotel but need your own transport!

A beautiful hotel with superb lodges a great bar and friendly staff. Beautiful views and lovley large pool.

Too far to walk to a town and road not good to walk on maybe suggest a scooter to get about. Food OK but would have been nice to see more traditional dishes on the menu. Happy hour was good 👍

Best ans Delightful Stay

Angkal resort has the best location and is very well maintained. The staff is very polite and helpful here. Mrs. NITA at the reception will help you with all your queries and is very polite The restaurant in the resort serves delicious food and also has a very helpful staff. They also adhere to your request of preparing vegetarian food. Most of the rooms have the view of the ocean. I am very happy and satisfied with my stay.
