The property was two houses from the boardwalk and Atlantic Ocean. The property meet all the needs of our visit for a family wedding. We highly recommend the location and management.

Very nice house right at the beach. House needs a bit of upgrade and parking is an issue if you have more cars but overall a very nice stay.
We were a large group and we enjoyed our stay here. Owner/Manager are very responsive and provided all the information in detail.

We were a large group and the spacious public rooms worked well for us. Plus the decks looking out at sea one short half block down the street, amazing!

The property was listed accurately. The response time with the management was extremely quick. Despite being there in March (lol) the location was perfect. Beach access just a few steps away. Location felt very safe and accessible with quick access to casinos and night life offered nearby.

This was the second time our group rented this house while we attended a conference at the Atlantic City Convention. Location and size perfect for a group of professionals.

The property needs some TLC as its worn down a bit, but we had a great time, great location, and great hosts.

14 Adults and 3 little kids stayed here for 4 days to celebrate Thanksgiving. The house has 11 bedrooms and plenty of living space, as described on the site. We could spread out or stay as close to each other as we wanted. There is lots of storage/garage space, a huge dining room table, big kitchen , big living room, plenty of TV sets, a sun room, a front porch, a small deck with table and chairs, and more than enough dishware, kitchen supplies, etc. We were just steps away from the boardwalk and beach. The hosts were very accessible and accommodating. The laundry room had 2 washers and 3 dryers and a second refrigerator. The pool/ping pong table was very nice but is not in the best condition. As with any rental there were some quirks that are good to know about ahead of time. Two of the bedrooms are accessible only thru other bedrooms and one is very small. Both setups would be good for parents of young children, but not couples or teenagers, Two rooms had beds with mattresses that were sagging. Not all the bedrooms have closets. There is room for 1 car in the garage and there are 2 parking passes for the street which was not a problem this time of year. Some people indicated they had trouble getting Wi-Fi connection on the top bedroom floor. Overall the furniture/furnishings are good but definitely showing their age- a bit worn and well used. It was a really good place for a large family gathering. The location is wonderful.

We had a great time. Old house, could use a few up grades. But more perks than not.
Modern Kitchen, well stocked with all your needs.
Living area great, lots of seating for all.
I would suggest bring your own sheets.
Laundry room great, 2 washers n dryers.
Storage with extra beach chairs, great.
Location awesome.
Parking was challenging, more so because we went on a holiday week, 4th of July.
Just have to look around.
Owners answered any questions or problems promptly.
Great for a large crowd. We would rent again.

This was our second year staying in this property. It is hard to find a larger property with enough beds for a group our size, let alone one with the kind of charm and excellence this property exudes. Thoroughly enjoyable stay!

Great property with lots of room for our group of 20! Right along the boardwalk and walkable distance to the Tropicana. Lots of big screen TVs, easy instructions on how to operate everything, and a great winter stay for us!

We enjoyed our time together in this very weathered home. It was enough room for all 25 of our family. The only negative is the floor plan layout. 2 of the bedrooms are in the basement and it was very cold in those rooms. I’m sure it is fine during the summer months but winter months very cold. We found space heaters to help with the temperature problems. Also this is a very old estate and the property is looking a little dated and could use a facelift. There are no bedrooms on first floor but there’s a enclosed porch with a couch that we also used as a sleep area. Owners very nice and very prompt with responding. Conveniently. Located near casinos, restaurants and shopping. We enjoyed our stay!

We really enjoyed our Thanksgiving all being together. With this house it was possible. One thing we didn't know in booking was the 2 of the bedrooms you had to go through one bedroom to get to the other one. We made it work but it could be hard for other people. We felt the house had everything we needed.

What a great stay! We definitely want to come back to rent this property again!!
I rented this home for my overnight bachelor party, with permission from the owner for the event. It was so hard to find a place because my husband and I were doing a combined party, and between the two of us, had 20 people there. So we needed a big house! This place absolutely came through for us, with enough beds for all of us and a living room, dining room, and kitchen big enough for us to play silly games, cook together, and sit down to a meal. The property was beautiful, a really fun old house that's been renovated and upkept fantastically, with all these neat little touches and nooks we loved to discover. It was a block off the beach, with an ocean view from the second floor master balcony, which just.. wow!!! Pool table/ping pong in the basement, plenty of bathrooms, everything was super clean and looked great! The owner was so nice, responded promptly to everything and really worked with us; I was left with such a positive impression every time I talked with them. Their checkout policies are totally reasonable, and they communicate so clearly. I would be so happy to stay here again; we're already talking about renting it for a joint family vacation with a few of our bridesmaids and groomsmen next summer, so next time we can bring the kids!

The house was bigger than I expected and it was very comfortable for my really big family. We loved sitting on The big porches just chatting and looking at the ocean. We enjoyed our stay, the house and location, awesome!

This house was perfect for our family reunion. We absolutely loved the closeness to the beach which enabled people (young and old) to come back for naps if needed. While the parking situation isn’t ideal (limited parking passes requiring the need to park some cars a few blocks away and shuttle people - as well as the street sweeping schedule to keep in mind) it wasn’t too bad and is definitely a blessing in disguise as not having public parking means the beach was much quieter here than in other areas.
The layout is a little weird and a map of the floorplan would have been helpful before-hand to help us figure out rooming (for example the two rooms on the ground floor are connected so you go through the one to get to the other, which is also the case for a small room on the 3rd floor which is between two other rooms). This was not an issue for us and in fact worked perfectly for the families we had there, just something to be aware of.
No real complaints about the condition of the home. A few things that you chalk up to character of it being an old house (a bit hot on the top floor, some uneven floors, and a bathroom door that didn’t quite shut all the way to latch) but other than that it was a beautiful house that we would look at renting again if we find ourselves needing something in the area

We had a super week with more than enough room for everyone . So nice to be that close to the beach. Hope to do it again next year.

Rental Success
The VRBO was a great rental property for our beach weekend. Accessing the property was a breeze. John and Rebecca (owners) were extremely communicative and willing to make adjustments to the check-in/check-out times based on availability to do so. Overall, very pleased with the experience.

Family Reunion
Beautiful home, minute walk to very wide beach, comfortable beds, clean, several bikes and scooter and uno game. Furnished nicely. Pool and ping pong table not usable. We used one large table for dining and the other large table for art. We brought paper, markers, watercolor and pastels. Definitely recommend for large group. Game room needs update and would be easier to understand more the temperature controls. Had great time!!

Amazing stay
Upon arrival check in was easy and homeowners and property managers were very informative and helpful and answer any questions you have. We had 20 guys stay for a Bachelor party but the house could have easily slept 28-30. House was kept clean and was stocked with appliances. The 2 refrigerators were very useful, as were the washers and dryers that are provided. Very close to all the casinos and local party bus company will take whatever party you have almost anywhere in Atlantic city for $5-6 a person. The only difficult part is finding (legal) street parking that is close to the house because only 3 Total parking spots are provided. But was not an issue as guest found spots 2-3 blocks away and some even left their vehicles at a casino for the weekend. I would definitely come back and recommend anyone with a large party to stay here.

John and team perfect place for large family gathering
We rented 2 homes from John and they were perfect! We had a large family gathering in the winter and needed large homes in the area. Great location and Amy was a big help getting us settled, especially when we had an epic blizzard. Highly recommend working with John and team.

This house is so ideally situated, in proximity to the beach and local restaurants. Loved the inviting quality of the space. Everything about this house says, "comfort." So easy to work with the owners! Lots of helpful information on the area provided!

Couldn't be better
Amazing house. Accommodating host. We had such a wonderful time and can't wait to rent it again.

It was okay.
Parking is a nightmare. For an 11 bedroom house there is only parking for 3 vehicles. That is, as long as all the parking spots in the designated area aren't already full (which they always were). Be prepared to pay $15 a night per vehicle in the parking garage about a half a mile from the house. When we arrived I called the number the lady gave me in the email, she was not the nicest person. The door was wide open when we got there, she said it was probably the cleaners. I'm gonna assume it wasn't. Because there were still boxes of beer cases with stale cigarette butts piled up next to the garbage. Both refrigerators still had food in them and the one in the basement was gross. There were still linens in the dryer, dishes in the dishwasher, the floors were sticky and gross. I went to take a shower and part of the wall in the bathtub fell out and smashed all into the bathtub. I sent emails and got no response whatsoever. We made the best of it and still had a great time. But, I paid a cleaning fee and had to clean before and after. But, I would have to say, the parking situation is the worst.

Repairs/upgraded
The house needs to have repairs done, it smelled kind of smoky, it had not been cleaned up well at all, majority of the rooms were FREEZING my guest did not want to stay in them. The basement was entirely to cold to even enjoy the recreation room. I don’t think ANY of the sleep arrangements they count in the basement should be counted. Needs to be cleaned up, replace carpet or have it cleaned. Bed lining smelled old, so we bought linen from Walmart. Casinos & boardwalk very close. Stores are not that far out so the location of the home is great. The porch & the back needs to be cleaned off & trash needs to be picked up.

Mansion + Location
The place was absolutely beautiful and HUGE. There were 16 of us but the place could easily accommodate 20+ adults and had enough room for everyone to sleep. The location was perfect, literally 50 yards from the boardwalk. Parking was limited but it was very easy to find street parking. Most of us took an Uber to casinos and it was cheap.
The only thing that I could recommend is that the bedding smelled a little and could use a wash and the bathroom on the 3rd floor wasn't always operational. The pressure was too low to use the bathroom.
John was amazing with communication and replied promptly. He even offered us to stop by at his restaurant/bar (Ryfe) which is walking distance.

Disappointed will never book again
Unfortunately upon our arrival the place was not clean. We had to request for someone to come back. Also the address was not provided until we booked the place so we found out afterwards we were next to a parking lot and directly in front of an apartment building. The home needs updating with paint, bedding ect.. Needs a fresh look. It’s so old the floors were leaning. Oven burned a lot of our food because the baking option never worked! The broiler kept coming on! Pictures were much different online than in person. We were not happy. Too many flies in the home as well.

110 Vassar Square-Great Week
Enjoyed NJ Shore for a quick week of relaxation. Great house as advertised a few houses from the beach. Property owners John and Rebecca went above and beyond with communication and attentiveness. Highly recommended and would stay there again without question.

Great location with views of the ocean
Spacious 11 bedroom home. We had 9 couples for our college reunion weekend. This dynamic husband & wife team made planning the reunion easy. House was very clean & so close to the beach! We enjoyed the beautiful beach by day & walked to the casinos at night. Amy, the local meet & greet contact, did an excellent job making us feel welcome. Amy also went above & beyond to assist us in finding my mothers wedding band. I will always remember her kindness.

Family Reunion
We were all together for a wedding and wanted to continue our stay a little longer. We had 10 adults and 6 children. We were pretty comfortable. Nothing real fancy. It is an old house but there has been updates done. Close to the beach. Price seemed a little high but the location worked good. It would be nice if they had a layout of the house to use for planning on who slept where and where bathrooms were located.
