Comfortable flat in an excellent location, ideal for a family holiday in Swanage

Property is in a very convenient location, close to the beach and Swanage centre, with many restaurants and shops within walking distance. Living room is spacious with a large smart TV and books/games available for guests. Bedroom are large and beds are comfortable, with plenty of storage room for clothes/luggage. Kitchen is well equipped, with a small dishwasher and washing machine available. Bathroom is on the small side, but with a powerful shower. Overall, we were very happy with the property!

The flat was clean, but it would benefit from a more regular deep clean. For example: waste bin was smelly and sticky, cutlery drawer was full of dirt/crumbs, floor was sandy in places, washing machine seal was mouldy and full of sand, bathroom wall above the shower/bath was dirty and dusty, top of the wardrobe for luggage storage was very dusty, shelves next to one of the twin bed were full of crumbs.

Very good location right in Swanage, good parking space allocated.BOOK it if you can.

Location superb for Swanage etc etc, The Railway.... Very spacious Apartment, great for Family or a Couple like us, good access at the back of the Property to the allocated parking spaces. Everything a very short walk away, Beach,Railway,Swanage Shops, great walk to The Hills and Old Harry Rocks. Recommended, if you can book it.

The COOKER, The Induction Hob was impossible to work, we had to google it and found eventually we weren't pressing the unlock button for the required time !!! and no response at all from booking.com or the Management Company Sykes when seeking assistance.NO instructions to help us, just needed simple laminated card on wall by cooker. NO blinds or Curtain on Lounge windows or Kitchen window, very open for all to see us at night, strange.

A fabulous time spent in a great apartment!

The location was perfect, and we were blown away by how close the apartment was to the sea front! We loved how spacious and airy the apartment was - which was perfect for hot weather. We also appreciated how quiet the apartment building was.

We were disappointed that we weren't warned that there wasn't an oven glove provided with the apartment. It wouldn't have been a problem to bring one with us, but as we weren't warned about this we had to make do with tea towels instead.

Pleasant apartment in an excellent location

The apartment was fine - great location and spacious. Excellent TV. Kitchen facilities were good although oven gloves would have been helpful. Very close to the town centre and the main beach.

Wifi was a little slow. The main room took a while to warm up after we arrived on a wet evening.

Fantastic location, lovely apartment, recommended and we have already re-booked!

Lovely, homely apartment. Excellent location and great to have parking. Very short walk to beach and Swanage Railway. Comfortable beds, and really nice living spaces. Bright and airy. Plenty of storage space. Plenty of cooking utensils, pots, pans and crockery. Kitchen is small but perfectly functional and easy to cook a family meal. Nice to have shelves of books, games and puzzles (and netflix!). Nice to have a washing machine. We loved it and have booked again for next year!

We liked everything! But I do like to add recommendations for others, these are not complaints: No bath mat provided, and it seemed impossible to have a shower without some spray on the floor. I will take one next time. The hand towels provided are tiny, so take your own if you need to wrap your hair up after a shower! No oven gloves, so will take one next time. No provisions at all (apart from a couple of dishwasher tablet and washing pods) unless some leftovers from previous occupants (tea bags, cling film etc). Not even one toilet roll, so take some with you. I arranged a tesco delivery for day two, so that was good to add on everything that we needed. The co-op by the Swanage Railway is very good, and the Budgens in town - although a bit more expensive. The fridge is on the small side, so we found it to be better to stock up on fresh items throughout the week. The dishwasher was unreliable and didn't always release/dissolve the tablet, so we just washed up by hand.

Just what we needed for our short break in Swanage, we would definately stay there again.

Parking for the car, good location to the town very near to the beach. The flat was light and airy, with good facilities.

My husband banged his leg on the corner of the woooden bed frame as there was not a lot of room to walk around it. I couldn't find any instructions for the cooker and it took us a while to figure it out.

A very enjoyable short stay

Property matched expectation. Did not meet owner or other host. Very clean and nicely furnished

Would help to have a 'grab bar' in the bath as older guest had problems getting out of bath. When looking for a dropped item in the bedroom we found items under the double bed covered in thick dust. Otherwise the flat was very clean

musty smell in the communal areas i.e stairwell. Probably the carpet that looked in need of replacing. couldn't get the dish washer to work properly after 2 attempts

Ideal holiday spot for young & old

Brilliant location. Clean spacious well appointed. Good beds, nice towels good shower. Everything worked. Private parking, efficient key collection & return. Helpful contact staff.

Dropped floorboard on landing. No instructions for microwave. Not enough toilet paper.

Central swanage

Short walk to train station and top of the high street. This is our preferred Side of Swanage because although not completely flat the other side is mountaineering. Lovely flat with everything you need for self catering. Bonus with a parking space included

A little gem

The location was fab and it had everything you would have at home, they even thought of board games etc in case of a rainy day.

Not that we didn’t like it but found sleeping in a double bed small as used to a king.

Only a short walk into town, own parking space, very well equipped with guide books and rainy day games, washing machine and dishwasher were a nice touch.
