Great property for extended family to stay and meet up with other family living and staying in Newlyn. Fabulous views, we saw seals and dolphins from the balcony. Great kitchen, well equiped we cooked most of our meals here. St Michaels Mount was a great day out, swimming at Sennen beach and in Mousehole harbour, we liked the Mousehole deli for morning coffee and a stroll. Re parking we got used to the narrow Cliff Lane at the back for one car, then if you have a 2nd car I would plan to park in the old coastguard pub carpark and allow for £11.10 for 24 hours, then if you find a cheaper spot its a bonus. You need to get the JustPark app so maybe download this in advance as mobile data is not great, or you can use the wifi in the pub it just takes a while. Great holiday would recommend this property, host was very helpful to all my messages.

very well appointed. Convenient to restaurants, bus service and would definitely book again for our family. It was more like a well loved holiday home than a basic rental.

Trevona was a perfect location for hiking the surrounding area, walking into Mousehole, and taking in the sea vistas from the front room. We thoroughly enjoyed Trevona.

Location, location, location! Stunning views from every room in Trevona. Our party of 4 had plenty of room to spread out in this wonderful 4 bed property. Well-appointed, comfortable, and easy communication with Paul. Mousehole is a 5 minute walk away, Newlyn 30 min flat walk. Very glad we stayed here - it did not disappoint. (Also, amazing food at both 2 Fore Street & The Old Coastguard).

Our stay at Trevona was perfect! The property is very well equipped - we had everything we needed and more. The views from the property are absolutely stunning! Was a little tired in places, but to be expected towards the end of a summer season. Paul was an extremely helpful host and provided us with lots of useful information for our stay in Mousehole - thank you! Overall, we would highly recommend Trevona to anyone visiting Cornwall!

This property was just perfect and in such a beautiful setting! The house itself was very clean and very well equipped with the basics and more! Lovely gesture of some bottles of wine and scrumpy left for us by the host and superb communication with the host both prior to check in and during our stay. The views from the front bedrooms and conservatory are to die for and the house was spacious enough for our group to all be together and have our own space. We were a group of 7 including 2 older people and 2 children (aged 5 and 9). There were games and toys for the kids to play with and a array of beach equipment… as I say- incredibly well equipped.
The town of Mousehole was absolutely stunning and we enjoyed walking through the village, visiting the small beach and.l the stone beach that had a lido so safer for the kids to be in the sea. We went to both Newlyn and Penzance and enjoyed both towns. We did a coastal walk to Lamora. This was a hard walk but worth it for the views! Lamora is absolutely beautiful too and you can reach it via car if you don’t want to walk it. We spent a full day at St. Michael’s Mount and the nearby beach… this was wonderful! There is honestly so much to see and do near and around Mousehole- I would return to both this town and property in a heartbeat.
Thank you Paul for being such a fabulous host.

Perfect Cornwall wind down!
We’re so incredibly lucky to have found this property, the property and location are phenomenal- the views are nothing short of spectacular! If we ever find our way back to Cornwall, we’ll look here first. Mousehole is just stunning too- picture postcard perfect! To top it all off, Paul was an absolute pleasure to work with- great communication and very quick replies even with our many questions. I can’t possibly say enough great things about the whole experience!!

We have just returned from the most uplifting week away in the most beautiful location. This house is incredible. The view takes your breath away. The house is bright and tastefully decorated. It is big and provides lots of areas for rest and relaxation enabling a multi generational family group to have time together but also space apart. The house is equipped with everything you could need and yet it is stored well away so the house isn’t cluttered - something we appreciate when getting away from our everyday life! Paul is a fantastic host. He was so kind and helpful throughout the process from booking to leaving the property. We fell in love with this place and would love to return. The area is incredible and provides so much to do. We visited the Minack theatre, st Michael’s mount, had a boat trip with skipper Neil of cormorant cruises and enjoyed the charm of Mousehole just a short walk from the house. This place is not to be missed! I only hope we don’t have too much competition next time we try to book!

We had a wonderful week at Trevona. What a magnificent situation the house has and it was super clean and adequately equipped and presented! For those who wanted plenty of in-house time there was always something to watch going on at sea. For those who wanted to be out and about there were plenty of nearby options, either on foot or by car. I'd say the only tricky thing was parking. Thanks for a wonderful week.

Firstly, Paul the owner is very responsive, informative and helpful. The house is very big with 4 bedrooms. The beds are extremely comfortable and the 2 main bedrooms have plenty of storage and dressing tables. The windows look straight out to sea and have spectacular views. You can sleep to the noise of the sea if you keep the window open. Everything you could possibly need is here. Games, DVDs, fully equipped kitchen including a Nespresso machine. Massive dining room, beautiful conservatory with fan heaters and living room with open fireplace. Central heating is effective. 2 bathrooms with baths and showers. Everything you would have in your home basically. We stayed over at Christmas and was able to cook a full Christmas dinner with no problems. Big fridge freezer. Short walk into Mousehole village. It’s the perfect base. Parking can be tricky at Christmas time as people come from all over to look at harbour lights, but the house has parking for one car at the back of the property accessible via a little lane. Parking is £3 a day at the harbour car parks but there is usually parking for free out the front of the house. It really is a home from home, you will want for nothing here and will not regret staying here. Thank you Paul for a magical Christmas xx

View!
We come to Cornwall twice a year. The location of Trevona was very nice. There is a running path, which is rare, as well as a movie theater and at least two fantastic restaurants, all within walking. The view from the conservatory was wonderful in both the sunshine and the named storm (Callum)! Only negative (which I am sure is temporary) is the lack of decorating and some furniture. It needs coffee tables and end tables and more seating. The kitchen is very well stocked. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay and would highly recommend this property. Paul was very helpful before and during our stay.

Stunning location for this spacious, clean and stylish house
A family of 6 including 3 teenagers had plenty of room in this lovely, newly renovated house. It's best point is undoubtedly it's stunning location, overlooking the sea with a balcony (great for coffee in the morning sun and seal watching) and a sheltered garden. The large conservatory at the front means you can still sit and watch the sea even when it's raining. The house is decorated and furnished simply but stylishly with some lovely pieces of furniture - some pictures, ceramics and more soft furnishings would make it even more homely. It's also well equipped with good quality kitchen equipment and accessories, sturdy beds and good mattresses. The house is quiet, being detached, and within easy walking distance of the centre of Mousehole with its lovely cafes, pub and shops. For those who don't know the village, it's one of the prettiest in Cornwall especially in the evening with the colourful lights reflecting on the water in the harbour, or in the sunshine if you're lucky enough to get good weather as we did! The pub does great food for an evening out and there's a post office and general store which is great for fresh bread and essentials. Finally, the owner Paul was helpful and responsive, answering my questions before the holiday quickly and comprehensively. Both the village and the house come highly recommended.
