Just steps away from Akwa Marina, renters have full access to the Yacht Club's Amenities including A large sandy beach, custom pool and patio, hot tub, volleyball court, bocce ball court, two outdoor propane fire pits, two outside pavilions. There is beach furniture and umbrellas throughout the club. Akwa Marina Beach Bar, home of one of the best Lobster rolls in NH is also located at the marina. Enjoy lunch/dinner and cocktails while sitting in the Gazebo bar or even poolside. Guests also enjoy the activities at the club, such as live music, and members' events like yoga, etc.
The home is a 4 Bedroom, 4 Bathroom home. two king beds, two twins, a full and a pull-out couch. There are 4 bathrooms- two full baths, a 3/4 bath, and a powder room.
Akwa Marina Amenities are open from May 15th -Oct 15th. The beach bar operates separate hours, and is weekends only after labor day and closes for the season in Mid September.
More details on the homes: The property sits on a hill, set back 200 ft from the water, overlooking Meredith Bay and the marina/beach club. Enjoy views of Governors Island and Spindle Point. Built in 2014, this home was designed to resemble a New England barn with red cedar shake siding and a large copper cupola. This is the End Unit Townhome. Located off the kitchen is a huge 700+ square foot wrap-around deck with glass railings overlooking the lake and mountains.
The main floor has an open-concept kitchen with stainless steel appliances and granite countertops. Dining areas include an 8-foot large island in the kitchen that seats 6 and a large outdoor table on the deck that sits up to 8. Open-concept living room with 2 couches (1 is a pullout).
Wide plank hickory floors throughout the home. (no carpet anywhere)

Here is a little about the area: This home is a 5-minute drive to downtown Meredith, a beautiful quint lakeside town with specialty shops and restaurants. Gunstock Mountain is a 15-minute drive from door to door. Funspot, the largest arcade in the world, is a half mile away and is great place to take the family. Ice fishing is just steps outside the back door. The winning fishing derby fish was caught out in front of the marina a couple years. Just a short stroll down the street is Weirs Beach. There you will find shopping, restaurants, pizza/ice cream, arcades, scenic train rides, and one of the Ports for Mount Washington Cruise Ship.
Winter activities include skiing, snowboarding (15 minutes from Gunstock Ski Mtn), ice skating/pond hockey, ice fishing, and snowmobiling.

We just got home from a wonderful stay at Akwa Marina. The townhouse was very clean and well equipped with beautiful views of the lake and a short walk to the yacht club. We took advantage of the pool, hot tub, guest dock, restaurant and bar. It was a fun, family friendly atmosphere. We couldn’t have asked for a better experience. Also, our kids were able to walk to Weirs beach to play at the arcades and explore the shops. We will be back.

We stayed for three nights and the home is in a beautiful spot close to the water and weirs beach within walking distance. We knew in advance we would have to bring pillows sheets towels blankets but it would have been much easier if that wasn’t a thing! :)

Our family of 6 adults and 2 kids had a great week at the Red House. The property had lots of room, and the kids playroom off the kitchen was a hit. The view was spectacular, and the Akwa Marina amenities were great. The pool, bounce house, corn hole, and poolside staff were awesome. Walking distance to Weird was a definite plus. Would definitely love to stay again. The owners were responsive and couldn't be any nicer.

My wife and I rented this place for a week in July with our 4 and 6 year olds and it did not disappoint. We had plenty of room even when we had the grand parents up for a couple of nights. The location is ideal with beach access, the pool/hot tub, and the surprisingly good bar/restaurant all within a few steps. Not to mention all of the other great Winnipesaukee activities within a very short drive. I highly recommend checking this place out if you are traveling with little ones.

3 of my buddies and I do an annual motorcycle trip and we chose Laconia this year! Was great to spend time in this cool town. Kurt and Sarah have a very nice set of homes there with incredible views of the lake and the mountains. The home was very nice and Kurt was an awesome host. We had a couple of small needs while we were there and Kurt was always available and attentive. This is an incredible location if you’re attending bike week…..literally a 2 block walk from the heart of downtime. Our last day there was yesterday for the kickoff to this years rally…..and it was a blast.

I stayed at this townhouse this past weekend with my family. (6 adults to 2 children)We had a great weekend! Thank you Kurt and Sarah! Your home is beautiful! You can not beat the views, you wake up in the morning and look out the window and can’t help but smile. The location is great you can just walk down to Weirs Beach area. The home had plenty of room not to mention having 3.5 bathrooms! The guys loved the theatre room to be able to watch the game on Sunday after we came back from the fair.
The only disappointing thing was we were there on the off season. I have heard wonderful things about the restaurant/bar. The pool and the beach looked awesome! So if your planning on going to Laconia during the season you will not be disappointed if you stay here!
Also my grandson loved that the train went by everyday. We would go out and he would wave to the people onboard!

We stayed in this property Thursday- Sunday. The house is amazing and you can't beat the location. Restaurant and bars within walking distance. We had 9 girls for a girls weekend. We all slept comfortably. The house is spacious and it is right on the water, the view is perfect. The owner, Kurt, was super flexible with check-in and check out. He gave me his cell number and the few questions I had he answered right away. We are already planning our trip back next year. Highly recommend!

Great location. Having a beach, pool, and food and drinks on the premises was a plus. In addition we had a place to store our jet skis. House was very well stocked. Kids play area a great addition. We had 6 adults and a 1 year old and had more than enough space. Owners were very responsive.

Location can’t be beat and having access to the yacht club and it’s amenities was great. Entire family enjoyed our stay. Only negative side is the property was definitely showing signs of rental wear and tear and we felt like the cleaning service that had come before we checked in did not do the best job.

If you are looking for a beautiful home on Lake Winnipesaukee that sleeps seven comfortably, and more if needed, this home is a great choice! My family and I had a wonderfully comfortable & relaxing stay during the children’s February break. This home is centrally located, with fun Winter activities all a short distance away. We enjoyed the home, it’s spectacular views, and the home theater on the third floor very much. There is also a stocked play room off of the kitchen that the kids loved exploring. Basic kitchen supplies are provided, However, be prepared to bring blankets, sheets, pillows, bathroom towels, washcloths, paper towels. The homeowners communicated perfectly and check in/check out was a breeze. We would love to return to this property in the summertime, as I imagine it would be even more enjoyable then due to the amenities and sunshine on the lake; with a perfect deck to take in New Hampshire’s beauty. All in all, it was a fantastic getaway!

Great House for a Big Family
This house had plenty of space for everyone! We especially loved the movie room and kids play room which was a surprise bonus! The only real downside is no indoor dining room table except bar stools in the kitchen. Also the only bedroom with dressers was the master so if you like to unpack you don't have many options. But we would stay again in a heart beat!

We were here for Bike Week and found this house right downtown. House was great, perfect for our group of 8. The marina bar was awesome and super convenient. Close to downtown and the house had great views of the Lake. Highly recommend!

Great Spot To Experience Lake Winni
I also have a house on Lake Winni and I decided I wanted to stay on the other side of the lake for New Years with some friends. I rented Kurt and Sarahs house and it was the perfect size for all of us. It had a great view and is close to major attractions at the lake. This house would be even more fun to stay at in the summer as the tiki bar just below is one of my favorite spots on the lake. Great beach and swimming pool as well. Can't go wrong with this place. Thanks Kurt and Sarah we had a blast!

Loved our girl get away at this beautiful property ! The townhouse was warm and inviting. Having coffee in the morning looking out the windows to the breath taking views of the lake was the perfect way to start the day ! The location was great for shopping trips and many choices of restaurants ! I will be back during the summer to enjoy the marina pool and gazebo bar !!! I highly recommend this beautiful town home !!
