Very nice and confortable stay

Very nice hosts, easy communication. Very practical kitchen and nice garden. The bed was comfy.

You can hear other guests talk and open/close doors all around.

Good stay for the price.

Good stay for the price we paid. Very positive point are the owners Mario and Rute. Extremely friendly and really make you feel at home.

You must have a car to access the property. Access road in bad condition.

Awesome!

The house and garden are lovely and it’s a great place to meet fellow travelers and bikepackers. The owner is really helpful and the living room & kitchen is big. In general there is a lot of space to relax and recharge. Would always come back!

The accommodation was very clean. The host was excellent. Mario gave us lots of ideas of what to do in the surrounding area. Very quiet.

The room with 2 single beds was very clean it's just that it smelt very musty, which was almost intolerable.

Wonderful place

I spent four days here. The house was clean. My room was nice with a very comfortable bed. Everything around the house is amazing. Mario was very kind.

If I may suggest one thing it would be nice if the towels were newer. Mine were very old and it wasn't pleasant to use them.

very clean, and spacious hostel. big kitchen and very clean rooms. kind owner.

there was no olive oil in the kitchen. you could buy it from the owner, but only in a big bottle. if you only stay one night and hike the next day that’s not really an option. if you are walking Rota Vicentina, you must know that it’s a bit off the trail. you’ll be walking 5 km extra. besides that it’s still far to Villa Nova, it felt closer to Porto Covo.

i was surprised how cheap it is and I didn’t expect such a good accommodation!

Everything! easy late check-in. It’s was super super clean! Super friendly owners and other guests. Met some pilgrims there. Has a nice kitchen and a beautiful common area. everything is in good condition, you can tell they’re taking good care of the property.

Very nice building surrounded by fields and small village

The location of the hotel is little but outside of a small village, surrounded by fields. It looks cozy, with spacious shared living spaces and a kitchen. Rooms are nice and there are 2 shared bathrooms, which is just enough. The owner is very nice and greeted right upon our arrival.

Rooms can be a bit noisy from the running water and appliances in the bathroom.

A pleasant stay.

Beautiful rural location, wonderful helpful and friendly host, lovely old farmhouse. While the location is a ways away from the nearest town, the surroundings are quiet and pretty. Nice, spacious room. Good value.

The house is old so you will hear noise as people come and go.

The comon bath is not the most confortable, but I knew and choose it! Clean, big, absoluteny perfect, but out of your room, as it was described and I paied accordingly for it... So I can't claim.

Great place to stay and relax

it was amazing! the hosts were very friendly! the room was very spacious and clean, as week as the bathrooms and the kitchen. The outside was very good to relax in the hammocks, enjoying the silence and the sun.

as already known from the map, the less good thing is the distance to the center, so you need to have a car. But with a car, it is very easy to come and go.

Great view - comfy place

Nice place we stayed at as a stop-over. Very well equipped kitchen and very helpful hosts! They even have a few items on sale in case you are out of anything.

Welcoming place

Mario and his wife are very warm and welcoming hosts! We were comfortable with a private room and shared bathrooms. One of the showers has an amazing view during sunset. We are hiking the rota vicentina and decided to stop here between Porto Covo and Milfontes instead of doing it in one stretch - the hike is very tough on the sand in this area. I Ka Hale is a bit out of reach but a good option if you have a car. There is also an amazing restaurant nearby called O Amandio.. very recommended!
