Perfectly located just 6 houses up from the beach, this charming, beautifully decorated 3 bedroom, 2 bath home is just a 10 minute walk to the amusement park, restaurants and pier or to Ocean Park with it's charm of yesteryear. 1st floor includes updated kitchen well stocked with many amenities, and a cozy porch for coffee in the morning or cocktails at night. 2 air conditioners downstairs, with ceiling fans to make it comfortable throughout. 2nd floor features 3 air-conditioned bedrooms -- all freshly painted and newly carpeted. Whether you are looking for a romantic get-away or a fun family vacation, this is the spot for you! Within a short 5-mile drive, you'll find Funtown/Splashtown, Aquaboggan, golf courses, bowling and movie theatres. Portland, LL Bean (Freeport), and the Kittery Outlets are within a half hour drive. Just bring your sheets & towels; we provide the rest! Amenities include beach chairs, boogie boards, sand toys, charcoal BBQ grill, etc. Clean and comfortable, the house has A/C in bedrooms, heat, fans, 3 flatscreen TVs, stereo, and games/puzzles/books for lots of family fun!! Enjoy a glass of wine or cup of coffee in the enclosed porch or on the fenced in private patio area. Wi-fi is also available. Washer/dryer, microwave, keurig coffee machine (and regular drip Mr. coffee maker). Plenty of pots, pans, glasses and dishes to meet all of your cooking/serving needs. My husband and I enjoyed such a nice week at this house! I honestly don’t think the pictures do it justice with how beautiful this home is. Beautifully decorated, well stocked with everything you need and could think of, and the close proximity to the beach made our time in OOB absolutely amazing. The next time we return to OOB, we will definitely consider renting this home again. Thank you so much!

Location is perfect less then 1 minute of walk. House is very clean, alot of Smalls surf board, beach chair and beach toys. Thanks to Cheryl and Mike, the owner, they are easy to comunicate with them

Stayed here with my husband, my parents, and our 2 boys. Amazing location and really nice house. Downstairs is very spacious and great closet space. Incredible amount of games and beachgear which was great b cause we came from the south so we're very limited in what we could bring with us.

This is our second stay at Cheryl and Mike's property and it was unchanged and just as wonderful as our first stay. There's something nice about having a familiar place to return to when vacationing. The decor is beachy and beautiful and there is plenty of space to make yourself at home. Our kids love the big selection of board games and puzzles for down time and the breakfast bar that opens to the kitchen window is a fav spot to start the day.
You couldn't ask for a better location. We love the convenience of being so close to the beach especially with young kids. Tami Lynn's is right there for a quick bite to eat and we even manage to walk to the pier area without issue.
Cheryl is super responsive and honestly there isn't an amenity missing. We were grateful for air conditioning during the heat wave this month.
If you have the opportunity to stay with these hosts, don't pass it up!!

The property was in a prime location for our family. Just far enough away from the busy pier but close enough to walk.
The location to the beach was prime. The house was close enough if you forgot anything for the beach you could easily run back to get it.
The home was a quintessential beach retreat. Cute beach/cottage decor. The outdoor shower was helpful to wash the sand off. We loved the board games and the front porch especially.

This is our second summer staying at this property! Once again, it was a fantastic stay! (The amazing weather also helped!) The house is exactly as pictured and described, super clean upon arrival, and has everything you could need, including beach gear like chairs, boogie boards, and a cart! They’ve included just about every kitchen gadget you could need to create a great meal! Our family pretty much stays in and cooks every night, and we took notes from last year that we didn’t need to bring as much this year because they literally have everything! The front porch is our favorite part of the house for sure! An awesome house that is steps from the beach and a short walk to the pier! You won’t be disappointed!

I can not emphasize enough how perfect this home is...from the beachy decor to the homey spaces to relax in and the thoughtful touches that made my life as a traveling mom easier and entertained four kids. We've been vacationing in OOB for the past four years now and so far Cheryl and Mike's home wins for checking every box. We LOVED being able to roll out of bed and walk right to the beach on a whim without worrying about parking and the freedom of being able to leave for a quick break. The variety store is a stones throw away for any treats or forgotten necessities. Use of the washer/drier enabled us to pack less and truly besides bedding and towels everything is thought of for you. The kids were thrilled to have so many games and puzzles available to them for any downtime (which wasn't often as the weather was gorgeous and we were able to be on the go a lot). We bbq'ed one night and enjoyed bouncing around the local restaurants for the remainder of our stay. It was also incredibly handy to fit two vehicles in the driveway as we had such a big crew. My littlest is going to miss the breakfast bar as that was her fav spot to sit each morning and "order" breakfast through the window. Lol. We wouldn't hesitate to stay again!!

I'm the kind of person to drive to our destination, park and walk everywhere. This is the perfect location!!! The beach was about a football field away, two local stores, one with a restaurant two houses away. Now the beach, clean, deep and 7 miles long with plenty to do along the shore.

This was a wonderful property. Close proximity to the beach and a beautiful well stocked house! Parking was easy, there was a small market nearby for breakfast/ milk, etc., and we fell in love with the front porch! Cheryl was wonderful to deal with-prompt and kind with her responses!

This was our second time in this beach house. Although some aspects are in need of a little TLC (new door knobs on two of the upstairs bedrooms and bathroom) and paint on the kitchen door), overall the house is very welcoming and cozy. It had everything that we needed and more. The biggest advantage is its proximity to the beach!

My family has rented The same house for about 20 years. The owner recently sold and we lost our week during the pandemic. This is our first time back to Old Orchard Beach and I can’t tell you how pleased we were with every little thing about that house. There was so much thought put into things that are there to make your trip enjoyable ,fun and comfortable. The house is decorated like a house not an empty shell with a bed there are so many useful things in each room. Can’t thank you enough For our delightful stay.

My family and I just spent a wonderful week at Cheryl & Mike’s property. The house was exactly as pictured and was very clean upon arrival. Our favorite spot in the house was the porch area which we hung out in every evening after a great beach day! There were enough AC’s and ceiling fans throughout the house and in the bedrooms to keep comfortable even on the hottest days. We are a family that loves to cook and were all appreciative at how well the house was stocked with everything we could possibly need to make a great meal! The location was absolutely perfect as we were only steps from the beach! We’ve already booked again for next year and cannot wait to return!

OOB 4th
We thoroughly enjoyed our stay! When they say all you need to bring is sheets and towels they mean it. Everything we needed was right there. Location was excellent. Approximately 3/4 of a mile to the Pier. The only time we drove was when we took a ride to South Portland to Sea Dog Brewery, which was only 20 minutes away. If I had to change anything at all it would be the location of the master bedroom. Out of the 3 bedrooms it was the smallest. We really enjoyed the enclosed front porch. Another nice feature was the mud room and first floor bathroom right off of the mud room. We were very lucky weather wise as well. All in all I would recommend this beach house!

The close proximity to the beach is perfect!
You don’t feel like you have to bring everything you may need for the next several hours. About a 2-3 minute walk back to use the restroom and get a snack. Love that you can see the ocean from the front porch! Nice, quiet neighborhood.
We grilled daily and enjoyed the well-equipped kitchen.
Tami Lyn’s pizza (a 1-minute walk away)
is fantastic.
Played a few of the many games provided like Family Feud, Fact or Crap & Scattegories with our adult children - FUN!
Even had time to read a book, found here in
the bountiful collection of books.

It was a busy weekend with lots of people around and the outside noise never bothered us. The house is well insulated. No noise is heard upstairs when the early ones prepared breakfast in the mornings!

The property was clean when we arrived. The owner was very responsive to our questions and easy to communicate with. The house was stocked full of essential pots and pans, blankets, and other essentials... All we needed to do was to get food / drinks. Everything else was provided. Steps away from the beach / location was perfect. The only suggestion for improvement would be to switch twin beds into queen size beds for easier comfort for adults.

We had a great week in OOB, this house could not be in a better location for enjoying the beach and all the other activities in the area. It was so nice to not have to pack up and bring all our beach stuff - they have everything you could need for a beach day neatly stored in the yard. The outdoor shower was so great for rinsing off kids ! The house is very welcoming and the kids enjoyed all the vintage beach decor and games. we spent most of our time on the front porch which has an ocean view and a nice breeze, I will miss having morning coffee out there and hope we can come back next summer !

Perfect Beach House Stay
This house is the perfect home base for your Old Orchard Beach stay. One week isn't enough time to live here! The location is one short block from the beautiful beach in a quieter cottage / summer house area, within walking distance from the town square and amusement park, or an easy walk to Ocean Park with the quaint Soda Fountain. Steps away from Tami Lyn's deli/grill with basic grocery needs, too.
The pictures of the house are very accurate - it really is that comfortable and beachy. With the fully equipped kitchen and the sunny backyard grill / hangout spot, we cooked every dinner at home and hosted family get-togethers. The front porch was the perfect spot to end the night with the cool beach breezes, books and games from the large selection offered. Really, nothing is overlooked.
Beds are comfortable and each bedroom had a window A/C unit. Larger groups should note that the second full bed is a (comfortable) pullout sofa in the living room. We put the extra person on an air mattress in the larger room with two twin beds - that worked perfectly and kept the living room open. You need your own sheets and towels; the washer/dryer provided make that easy, too.
We truly hope to stay here again next year. It was exactly what we hope for in a beach house.

Minutes from the beach, moments to tranquility
Cheryl was a gracious host. The location could not be more perfect. Far enough away from town to be quiet but close enough to walk if you want a change of scenery. Can see the ocean from the house, only a 3 minute walk. House was comfortable with everything you need to make your stay comfortable. Our week was so enjoyable and quiet.

Perfect for a family beach vacation
We've stayed at this location for several years and it's our favorite and right next to the beach, which is essential with little ones. From toys, to games, coffee machines and everything you would ever need to cook with. This place has it all with great nautical charm. We love visiting the bakery in ocean park for fresh cinnamon rolls and the marina on Ferry Beach to catch the sunset❤️ already looking forward to next year⚓.

We love Old Orchard Beach!
We had an excellent stay at this house and did not want to leave. There was plenty of room for two adults, three children, and a dog. The house is very well stocked and close to our favorite place to get lobster rolls (Tami Lyn’s Place). We will be back!
