Beautiful n very cozy home. Had everything we needed for the weekend. Great location, very clean great communication and very comfortable bed. Would definitely recommend! Would stay there again.

The location is great, an easy walk to downtown. Plenty of room to sleep 4 adults in separate rooms. Nice little backyard with grill and fire pit that we put to good use. Would definitely stay there again without hesitation.

This property was clean and as advertised. It is nicely updated and so much room for our family of 4 and our dog. Its location is great. Walk ability is awesome to downtown and easy access to the beaches. We would stay here again.

The property was clean and welcoming, everything as promised, easy to access, short walk to Hope College and downtown Holland, easy drive to Saugatuck. I would stay here again. Helpful binder of suggestions for restaurants and things to do. My only suggestion would be to add signage letting guests know about the blankets in the ottoman in the living room because we didn't find them until the last day. Great stay!

This place was perfect for our family of four. With downtown Holland a short ten minute walk away, it was easy to get to and from local restaurants and shops. Property was very clean.

Good experience overall

Updated, super clean and cozy. Kitchen was well stocked, appreciated the coffee pods and snacks. Easy walk to several restaurants and shops downtown. Robert is an excellent host, responded quickly to our messages.

The house is in the old, historic, downtown area of Holland and has been updated and refreshed. It's very comfortable with separate gathering spaces in the kitchen, living, and TV room plus a fire pit and table to gather around in the backyard. The yard is nicely landscaped and a great place to hang out. The house is within 6 blocks of downtown where most of the Tulip Time festivities are held. It was fantastic to park our cars off the street (the driveway will hold at least 4 vehicles) and walk to activities, restaurants, pubs and parks.
Our hosts were excellent. The last night of our stay our dog got sprayed by a skunk and Robert showed up with rags and towels and suggestions for places we could find peroxide and baking soda to make a homemade skunk odor remedy at 10:30 p.m. He also came up with an appropriate accommodation for our pooch for the night. We are SO grateful for their kindness and thoughtfulness. Their host customer service is A+!

Our family stayed at The Hollander to be close to our daughter who graduated from Hope College, it was the perfect location for us to be able to help with moving her out of her house and to be able to attend the graduation ceremony as well as walk to downtown to take part of some of the Tulip Festival activities.

We had a great stay at the Hollander and would definitely come back again!

This is an older house, but is well-maintained and super clean. It is in a great location, just one block from a cool little grocery/liquor shop which came in handy. We were able to walk downtown and enjoy the wonderful restaurants. Great stay!

Check in/out was quick and easy. I would definitely recommend this property and hope to stay there again!

Our stay at the Hollander was perfect. We were able to bring our dog. Walking distance to downtown Holland. Very clean. We were impressed with the attention to detail ie: Keurig cup coffee pods, little bowl with protein bars, toothbrush/toothpaste/ razors in case you forgot! Which we needed!
Would definitely stay here again!

The home was very welcoming. The host left oatmeal and trail bars on the table as a welcome. We all found the beds and pillows comfortable. The kitchen was well stocked with utensils, pots, and dishes.
The location was fabulous. It was a short walk to downtown where we had great dinners. Don’t skip Kilwin’s for a fabulous ice cream for dessert.

We had a wonderful weekend! Robert was great and even provided us with some local nearby food/coffee recommendations to hit up during our stay.

Very clean. Great communication with the host. Good location and able to walk to downtown. Left some clothes behind by accident, the host messaged me and I was able to meet him back at the house to retrieve my clothes. He was very nice. If we need a place to stay in that area again we would definitely stay here!

We were in town for a wedding and the location was perfect so that we could walk downtown for the festivities. The beds are really comfortable. We really enjoyed the backyard and even had a bonfire. Thanks!

When we arrived to the house the air conditioning was not working properly. Less than five minutes after we were there- someone was there investigating the problem. The host reached out to us immediately and sent a partial refund for the issue with the heat. The issue was able to be resolved quickly and the rest of the stay was lovely.

Well kept and updated interior. Outdoor games and equipment for kids/adults and indoor board games for rainy days.

We were in Holland for a wedding, place was close and clean and had all of the amenities. Our access code was incorrect and it took only about a half hour to get it figured out. Otherwise, no problems. Stairs are very steep and with our 3 year old it was a little nervous, but all was well.

Super cute, better than the pictures!

We had a great time at this property. We appreciated that there were games in the closet already for the kids to play. The place was clean and easily accessible. We were able to communicate with the owner very easily and he was very pleasant to work with.

This is a nice home with great amenities. We enjoyed the outdoor space during our stay. We were able to walk downtown for lunch and shopping as well. Windmill Island and the lakeshore are just a short drive away.

The location is very close to Hope College, which is what we wanted. We enjoyed our stay.

My family and I stayed here and the location was perfect! It was easy to check in and everything went great. The house was clean and there was plenty of room for all of us. Rob even shoveled the walkway before we arrived.

Our second year staying here. So great: 10 minute walk to Hope and downtown. Clean, roomy, well kept, large dining table and chairs, living and separate family room. Plenty of parking. Responsive host. Can’t say enough about how much we all enjoy this place. Will be back next year as well!

We arrived really late and didn’t look things over really well and just went to bed. The next morning, we noticed it wasn’t a clean and tidy as we thought it would be, but we were in town son’s wedding. We didn’t complain, because we are not overly picky people. We checked out, leaving the home almost as clean as when we checked in. I was surprised to hear from Robert saying that he was requestion additional clean up funds stating it took them an ADDITIONAL 3 hours to clean. This was just ludicrous. In addition, that blood was on a comforter and had to be replaced. I did find out that this may have been possible, due to someone unknowingly had hurt their finger packing up just before departing. I may have worked with Robert but seems he may have left me a negative review before 24 hours and working things out. I would have bought new comforter with images sent and agreeing to sending me the said bed covering. The location was good, but due to Robert’s unprofessional communication and hastiness, it left us with an overall less than satisfactory stay at this location. We will be back to Holland many times; however we will not stay here again. I will now take images at any VRBO upon check in, and upon check out going forward.

We had family a short distance away and were also just a short walk to downtown Holland with Hope's campus being a block away. The home was warm (especially important since there was a blizzard with below zero temps!!) and inviting.. Our hosts were informative and took time to clear the driveway, too. We will definitely be back.! Thank you!

Cute, simple and nice. We loved our stay!

We rented the property as our "home base" for our daughters wedding in Holland. There was plenty of room for 6 adults as we were all trying to prepare. The back laundry room was a great place to store extras and the flowers, too! The only drawback is that this property was surrounded by student housing, and the student Halloween parties got loud on the streets. Not the owners fault at all, just beware that students live nearby.
4.8
We found this property clean, orderly and comfortable for our two night stay in Holland. We came to town for a conference so all we really needed was a comfortable place to sleep and relax between sessions. This space was perfect.
