Always friendly and I know it’s smoke free and bug free!

Local to city center as well as the owners live on site and I feel safe.

They are in the middle of updating so it’s not perfect

If we had spend both nights in the same room it would have been much better. The staff was very nice

After the first night they had a water main break we were moved to a different room which was not as nice and not as clean.

Fun for a night.

Beautiful historic property with an on-site restaurant and bar. Clean, well-appointed rooms. Nice central lodge room to hang out in.

Bathrooms are seriously tiny.

Good location

Nice, large room. In walking distance to many restaurants. Pretty comfy beds.

Unfortunately, something went wrong with the boiler and we had no hot water. Had to have a cold shower.

nothing, I had to find another hotel to stay in

many things, first- there was no one at the office when I arrived at 3pm, he finally showed up at 3:25 then he didn't have a record of my reservation or my payment. there was no hot water for both days that I stayed there and I left messages regarding it with no reply. an odd electrical connection with a power cable coming out of the wall and then plugged into an outlet. I'm sure that's not approved for building codes. a tiny 26 inch wide area had a chair in it, very odd

Disappointing

The room was clean. Of there are 4 people travelling it’s good value for money.

The lady at reception wouldn’t let me into the reception room when I came to check-in. She spoke to me from behind a thick paned glass & I couldn’t see or hear her properly. It was a late check-in but I had informed the motel & they had a 24hr reception facility. She made me show her my ID while I was standing in the street with my luggage as she hid in her reception room for her safety. When I asked her about my safety she told me it was not her responsibility. The room was fine. It was clean & large enough. There were however no blankets. I was supposed to have the a/c on all night to keep warm. Insanity! No blankets were provided I learnt later because of Covid protocols that the Motel had decided on without informing their guests before check-in & before booking. And it’s winter & very cold. This was very deceitful. As I would not have stayed here had I known beforehand. When I went to shower the water was lukewarm & never got hot. Again so very disappointing…. I had a terrible sleep because I was cold & the road & local bars were noisy. For the price I paid I expected a lot more…the least of which being blankets!

Location good. Motel in disrepair. What looks like an abandoned motorhome was sitting out front. Obviously not operational. I asked the staff and they said it was for storage. If you're looking for a place that the bed is comfortable and it will do, this may be your place. If you're looking for someplace that the room smells fresh and you can really relax, this is probably not your place.

Paint poor in room. Musty smell.

Amazingly fluffy pillows, comfortable bed and the owner is super sweet! Quiet at night. Nice air conditioning unit. Cable and HBO. Bring your own coffee!

Clean room, friendly staff, quiet location

Even though it was an older Motel we felt very safe and it was a quiet place to rest. Very clean room and sheets. Motel staff were very friendly and accommodating 🙂

Would've liked a coffee maker in the room.

Very Clean, Great Value and Welcoming Staff...Feels Like Staying with Very Close and Caring Friends

Stay here every time I visit El Centro. The family run business treats guests like a member of their family. Probably one of the cleanest places I have ever stayed....I'm talking there is even no dust under the furniture.

It is a motel...some road noise but not able to hear any noise from inside the rooms. At least for us, a small dining table and chairs would be nice to eat at when eating take out food in the room.

I had to check in late coming from the airport, the owners were nice enough to take to my room and make sure if I needed

the room was as advertised , clean and comfortable!

Hotel was very quiet. Cars were safe. No problems. Room was clean. Owner (?) lady was very nice.
