We met our two families at the house. There were plenty of beds to cover everyone and the house was very clean. The community pool is lovely but the entry card needs to be updated. The hosts were wonderful to work with and we had a lovely time. Thank you.

We sat outside on the back deck every evening!

Our stay there was absolutely amazing! The house was clean super close to anywhere we needed to go and had everything we could possibly need from coffee, towels, soap and more! The hot tub was absolutely amazing and we enjoyed it very much! We were there with two other couples and had plenty of privacy in the house! I cannot think of one thing I would have changed or wanted differently! A+++++++

This is hands down the best Vacation home we have ever stayed at. With a super host and attention to detail, made our vacation felt like a home away from home!!
this home is loaded with breathtaking views, warm and cozy, living rooms, and adjustable beds.
We would definitely come back and recommend this home to families with small children or even teens!!

Hot springs did not disappoint. Plenty of Room for all of us. Great view. Walking distance to pool. Pool was great but pump broke half way through our stay. But there was Plenty to do in area. Saw tons of deer which our kids loved. Thank you for making our first trip to Arkansas memorable!

Great house and location for our 3 generations. Each household had their own space but plenty of room to eat and play games together on the main floor and patio. Close to activities that appealed to all ages.

This house was perfect for our big family. The rooms and bathrooms downstairs were perfect for all the kids. The owner has done some upgrades that make a big difference. The views from the back porch are worth every penny! We saw a ton of wildlife from the front/back porches. The owner did a great job communicating with me and offered many recommendations for food and activities. I can’t wait to see all the updates she will be doing on this house. We will be back!

Beautiful location. House wasn’t to bad, The kitchen was small but nice, the back porch and views was great.
Trying to get thru the gate was a nightmare, the code wouldn’t work, no one at the gate at 4:30 on a Friday. I hit the call button 8 times, tried to call the numbers I had and no answer.
I had to drive behind someone that opened the gate to get in.
Lots of room for the kids to play outside.
When we arrived we had no electricity due to the storms in the area, we didn’t get electricity until 3am the next day. They did bring us lanterns for light. The upstairs bathroom smelled so bad and it made the whole upstairs smell bad. I called the property owners and they sent one person out and he said he had no idea why he was called out bc he didn’t have anything to do with plumbing. The plumber came out and fixed 2 sinks that would not drain and the smell wouldn’t go away.
(My husband is a plumber and he said the house was not vented right or the vents was clogged up) the gutters was packed full with leaves.
The next night I went downstairs to check on the kids and the whole downstairs smelled like poop, just like the upstairs.
The closer you got to the bathroom the worse it got.
The coffee table in the living room was dirty and we found paper under it.
When I pulled the sheets off the bed, that my husband and I slept on and it was stained really bad.
I would not stay again

Best Communication Ever
Any questions we had were promptly answered by property manager and owner. They were amazing. I would recommend this property to anyone. Wonderful location and wonderful view and the deer were amazing to see in this area.

Beautiful remote location
The view off the back deck was exactly what we were looking for. This home fit our large 3 family group perfectly. The bedroom locations were a bit confusing from the listing and not exactly what we were expecting. The cleaning staff had obviously done a quick job. Expect to drive 30mins for anything so just plan your day accordingly. The location is nestled in a beautiful, hilly area just outside of Hot Springs and close enough to fill your week with fun things to do or just relax in the neighborhood pool.

Positive: Great place to stay, great view, spacious, close proximity to Lake Catherine. Beware of bunk bed mattresses!
Overview: We enjoyed our stay here and the general consensus was that we wished we had budgeted more time to just lounge around in the house. Beautiful view of the river & lake. When we first arrived, there was a herd of deer in the backyard which we really enjoyed
Outdoor living area: Loved the swing and rocking chairs in the front yard. The screened in back porch on the lower level was great and mostly bug free. The pest control guy came by while we were there and he confirmed that he comes monthly to ensure the home is pest free. The upper-level balcony was so peaceful and breezy, especially for the morning tea/ coffee.
Entertainment: Really enjoyed the tennis courts and the little kiddie playground. Had a hard time finding flat ground to play volleyball, but we managed to find a small area for a game using our own portable net. The Roku TVs helped since that’s what we had at home, so the kids could navigate.
Kitchen: Was a bit small but acceptable. Plenty of utensils, dishes and cabinet space. There was also a coffee maker, that we didn’t end up using. There were sufficient dishes for 16 guests, including consumables such as toiletries, detergent, trash bags, etc. The large indoor table was still a bit small for everyone, but we used it to serve meals, so that worked out.
Restrooms: The four full restrooms made a BIG difference allowing folks to be ready as planned. This along with the 5 bedrooms was a bug part of our decision. Also, the smaller room in the basement has two twin beds (not one as the listing shows)
Linens: Lots of bed sheets, comforters, blankets, and pillows. There was enough sleeping space and also a pull-out couch in the living room.
Host: The Host was very responsive and fixed issues right away through a local contact.
Trip: It helped that we had a good trip planned and the boating had just opened up that Saturday in Lake Catherine and fortunately the weather cooperated. There is plenty of nature stuff to do in the vicinity.
Cons: Downstairs A/C was a bit cold and we never figured out how to turn it down. The only thermostat seemed to be on the main floor. Some of the vents and registers could use a thorough cleaning. The mattresses on the bunk beds were thin and left my wife with a back ache, that is still bothering her (This is the reason for the 1 reduced star) after having seen the doctor for this. We were aware of the thin steel staircase and were able to protect kids against it, but it was still a concern for adults going up and down it – it was shaky and didn’t feel stable. Wish the hosts would change this as it would make a big difference.

Hot Springs gated community
There definitely needs more work on this house - we picked it because of the family’s that were coming . The safety gates were great for the 1 year old . We repaired the threshold base plate from kitchen to dining room- fixed upstairs toilet ( wouldn’t quit running ) also lamps needed lightbulbs ( we put in ) many screws sticking were repaired ; I found candy wrappers in both end table by bed in Master BR- bathrooms needed towel racks & NO TOWELS or washcloths in kitchen / also needed dish drain in kitchen

Great view and location
Just as described - we really enjoyed our stay!

We loved the house and area. The spiral staircase was very difficult for some of us to use, also the carpet on the stair treads was very dirty and on one stair step it was loose and hanging down on the back side. The upstairs toilet wouldn't stop running unless you took the tank lid off and pulled the chain from under the flapper. The ladies who slept in the bunk rom complained about the mattresses being very uncomfortable.

Birthday Off Roading
We went down to celebrate a birthday with some off tossing. The house was great in size for the group that we had.
6.0
Okay but underwhelming
This house is in a nice location just down the road from Lake Catherine/Ouachita River. The hosts offered an early check in which was appreciated.
The house has undergone some nice updates but there’s still a lot to be done. Most concerning is the shaky spiral staircase that joins the three levels.
While the house can sleep 12 people comfortably, there’s nowhere inside that 12 can sit together. One couch and one bench in the living area, and a table that squeezes 9 in the dining room are disappointing for a house that claims to accommodate large groups. More living room furniture and some seating in the large bunk room would have made the house much more comfortable. The outside spaces are great but a heat wave drove our group inside. We appreciated all of the fans inside - outdoor ceiling fans would have been great too.
Extra blankets, pool towels, bath mats and some kitchen items (foil and ziplock bags) would have been helpful.
The community pool is large and nice but the lounge chairs were almost all broken so that was again disappointing. Overall, Diamondhead felt run down.
We love the Hot Springs area, and the hosts were easy to work with, but with so many options for vacation homes, we won’t likely choose this one again.

Vacation from school activies
Three of the members on the trip are educators. After a stressful year of Covid, we needed a break before summer school starts. A very quiet place to stay great amenities. Close enough to hot springs to enjoy activities.

A beautiful place
This property was everything and more. We enjoyed everything. It was a nice secluded area we will definitely book again. More than enough room for everyone. We lived it. Definitely weren't ready to leave

Great location. Space was really nice for our numbers. Kitchen is amazing. Nice back porch and great view. We had an amazing time and by no means are any of us hotel snobs. We were all adults no kids. We had an amazing time, but Property was very dirty. When we arrived it was 84 degrees in the house. Upstairs bedrooms had cobwebs in the corners. I realize it is a basement but ceiling fans Would make a huge difference. I had to buy 5 box fans just to keep some air flowing. The floors were extremely dirty. Fans through out the house would be great. No dust pan. Signs in the closets would be nice to locate items needed. Welcome book needs updating. Should let renters know where the lock box is. The mattresses down stairs are horrible. I’m sure since they are metal bunk beds the set up is more for kids but we had adults and the bunk beds were horrible. That circle stair case is dangerous, a couple of loose post. Letting you know the chairs outside need replaced... and some of the wooden chairs in the house need to be tightened.

Needs pest control
This house was way overpriced! Trying to get through the gate upon arrival was a chore given the owner would never answer the phone to buzz us through the gate. The guard was hesitant to let us in! There is so much deep and shallow cleaning that needs to be done. I had to sleep on the couch for 4 nights because there were so many centipede-like bugs all in my bedroom. Really they were all over the house, but my bedroom was especially bad. When I told the maintenance guy, he replied, “welcome to Arkansas!” I have stayed in Arkansas many times! Simple pest control could help this surely. Also, the owner needs to get rid of the overgrowth in the back of the house. The only stairs to get between the 3 floors is a narrow spiral staircase!! There were many things that needed to be fixed and the lighting was poor in every room. The only positives to report was that there were 4 bathrooms, a huge room with bunk-beds (fun for kids/teens), and a pretty view. The bottom floor doors did not lock, so that wasn’t comforting. I would never have a small child here. And I will never look to book this house again. I wish we could get some of our money back, given I had to sleep on the couch and ended up with a painful shoulder as result.

Wonderful house in a great neighborhood!
This house was fantastic! A wonderful setting for our family reunion.

Stairs warning for those with small children
The house is 3 stories with a narrow spiral staircase allowing access to the top and bottom floors (The main floor has the master bedroom & bathroom, a living room, eating area and kitchen. The top floor has 2 bedrooms with queen beds and a bathroom. The downstairs has a large bedroom with 3 bunk beds, a small bedroom with a twin and 2 bathrooms.). The staircase literally has one foot gaps between the railings. A small child could easily crawl/fall between the railings and fall to the lower level. There are metal gates that you can slide to block the stairs from the living room/kitchen/dining room, but this was a constant source of stress to make sure everyone remembered to keep the gates closed to protect my friend’s one year old.
On the upside, the views are so beautiful from the house, and we enjoyed the windows, balconies and porch which highlighted the beautiful view. There is a fun park in the neighborhood that we enjoyed. The kitchen was functional and stocked with all the basics (the only thing we really missed after preparing several meals was a whisk). Also, there was space to comfortably park our 3 cars.
The house fit everyone well but was not very clean (I think the floor had been swept but not mopped and the bathrooms could definitely use a deep scrub.)

Peaceful retreat
This is a house with a beautiful view in a peaceful setting. The teens with us enjoyed card games at the big dining room table and the kitchen is big enough for two or three cooks at a time. Lots of extra towels and sheets. Hot Springs is about 15-20 minutes away, with all the fun they offer. Our group was age 11-71 and we all found things to do
