Overall a good experience! Air is governed and you have to ask for basic supplies, but they will bring them… no coffee filters,fans, etc… but overall, we really enjoyed our stay!

The room was just as described. Very clean and great view of the beach. Front desk was friendly. You can definitely hear the people above you and plumbing in the walls, but it was ok. My only complaint was the late check in time of 4:00 and early check out at 10:00. That’s a bit ridiculous, especially the check out time. Other than that…great location to stay at.

At check-in was hit with surprise $27.50/day charge for access to pool, business center, etc. AND a pitch to buy into the property (timeshare). Suite was recently remodeled (poorly). I wouldn't recommend, even if it is on the beach.

Beds were great. Showers updated and very nice. No actual oven just microwave with convection (didn’t work great) difficult. No view. Like when they say not ocean view they mean no view of anything but a cement wall and steep hill. There was a musty smell so we had to keep the sliding door shut.
Staff was courteous and very helpful. Family pool with view of beach is the best thing about the resort. It’s not conveniently located with any shops near it and be prepared to walk and do a lot of steps.
Again staff was amazing. Promptly bringing items needed or fixed.

The location, staff, small market shop and fun rec rooms were great, and the rooms were clean and well-appointed but when we arrived, the master bathroom sink was clogged (which was promptly fixed) and there was a leak in the 2nd bathroom from the exhaust fan. They also only offered one parking pass for the nearest parking garage but had an overflow parking area available for our other car. Overall, it was a pleasant stay and we would book here again!

This property is right on the pacific coast highway. We walked across the road to the beautiful Capistrano beach! Property is under going construction but It did not bother us at all. The king bed was very comfortable. We were able to cook a couple meals in the well equipped kitchen and had everything we needed. I would definitely recommend and go there again.

We enjoyed our stay at this property (with two bedrooms and two baths). Very clean! They were updating part of the resort; but we were on a different side with no noise affecting us. We enjoyed our stay and would go back in the future.

The accommodations were perfect for our family of 6. We were able to walk to the beach and the nearby Mexican restaurant where we had delicious food. Nearby stores had everything we needed. All staff we encountered were kind and helpful, and there was always ample parking. We definitely will return.

We were visiting family in Mission Viejo for Thanksgiving and this vacation rental was a perfect location. The beach was across the street, the pool and hot tub was relaxing, and the rooms were clean. Highly recommend.

I didn't really like the property at all. The room was not very attractive. There was no ocean view. The front desk staff was not very attentive. Getting to the room was hard with no working elevators. Internet hardly worked- couldnt send ir receive important texts. Thers nothing much near the property. Would never stay again.

The property is really well located (right on PCH), the pools/ jacuzzis were also wonderful. Overall it was a good stay, the only two downsides were the broken elevators (we were on the 3rd floor and one of our kids is using crutches, so that was pretty awful for her) and the mattresses on all beds were terrible, super uneven and the pull out couch mattress support seemed broken. Everyone slept ok but no one slept great, unfortunately. However, the condo was well equipped and really clean.

On the listing it said there were 4 twin beds and one king sleeper. We took screen shots of this when we booked the stay back in January. When we arrived in August there were only 2 twin beds and 1 king bed. The sleep 6 people as advertised meant 2 adults sharing a pull out sofa sleeper. This is not what we wanted for our friends getaway to put 2 adults on a very uncomfortable pull out. We would not have booked with them if we knew this was the case. We spoke to the front desk and showed them the listing and they said the listing was incorrect but they couldn’t do anything because it was booked through a third party. I called the third party(VacayHome Connect) but they were rude and told me I was mistaken and wouldn’t help at all. By then they had removed the pictures that listed how many beds there were on their listing. I called Vrbo and emailed them the pictures of the listing and they agreed that there should have been sleeping for 6 people without the sofa sleeper. Vrbo reached out to VacayHome Connect while I was on the phone and got the same response. They didn’t care that the listing was incorrect. I will not be booking with VacayHome Connect or Vrbo again because they both will not do anything for listing the incorrect number of beds.

We enjoyed our stay at this resort property because of its proximity to Dana Point Harbor and the the beach. Don't miss the Ocean Institute if you're there on a weekend. Fantastic place for hands-on discovery of the marine world. Our kids loved the foosball table, shuffle shot game, billards and pool at the resort. It had everything we needed to keep everyone happy!

Upon checkin, we experienced a very curt desk attendant. I had asked if we could check in early, as I had a meeting at 4pm and would like to change clothes. I was told the room was not ready (3:15pm) and they would text me when it was ready. I changed in the lobby bathroom. The desk clerk put our bags and one refrigerator bag in the back. She said once the room was ready they would put our bags in our room and put the refrigerator items in the refrigerator. I returned at 6pm, went to the desk to get my key. It was then I found our bags remained in the storage closet. I rolled the luggage cart to room 235. Upon entering I checked the refrigerator, it was empty. I called down to the desk and they said “huh, let me check out refrigerator”. Comes back to phone and said someone would bring it up. Next up, the “no view” is actually a view of two 10ft rusty pipes dripping water and rat traps. The primary bathroom was filthy and had not been cleaned. There was hair everywhere, in the tub, on the floor, in the sink, the baseboards were disgusting. I called the desk. They went up a very nice girl with a swifter mop. She did the best she could and apologized and then said it was in fact disgusting and would tell the manager. We decided to check out and found another room 30 minutes away. When checking out the clerk only asked us what room we were in and to have a good night. No attempt at improving the situation.

My husband and I stayed here for a quick weekend get away with our two boys. We had a great time at the pool and using the fun zone on the property.

We were pleasantly surprised by the space. We stayed in a 2-bedroom and it was everything as advertised. Nice to have a sofa, dining area, and kitchen to sprawl out. Comfy beds and clean sheets. We also didn’t realize that there were 2 bathrooms which was excellent. I came with friends, next time I’m bringing the whole family.

Over all was happy with the property. I thought that all the fees were always shown in a VRBO rental ahead of time. But when iwe checked in they surprised us with an additional "resort" fees. I'm going to challenge the extra charges on my credit card when I get home.

Really enjoyed the property. It was very spacious and clean. It had everything we needed. The staff was very attentive and constantly checked in. My teenagers loved riding the complimentary bikes! We also took advantage of the complimentary beach chairs during our stay. Rooms also are stocked with quality beach towels. We enjoyed the game room, pool table & ping pong that were available 24hours. It was close to everything also. I would definitely stay here again.

I was very pleased with the property! There are resort fees but they are totally worth it. They let you use bikes, rolling coolers for the beach, chairs, sand toys, and they have a fun zone for the kids that stays open until 11pm where the kids could play wii or Xbox! 2 pools and 2 hot tubs, another great thing one hot tub is adults only! I loved it there!!

This was our second time staying at this resort and it's absolutely perfect. Right across the street from the pedestrian bridge to get to Doheny state beach at Dana point, less than a 5-minute drive to get to the harbor and the baby beach. The location is perfect. The game room is super fun. The pool is clean. The two jacuzzis are nice. To top it off the staff was super sweet and prompt with any time we asked for anything, I have not. One bad thing to say about our stay, will be back

The units are older and a bit musty, but the customer service onsite is very responsive. The beach across the street is pretty rocky and the neighborhood isn’t the best. You should also make sure to tack on an additional $25 a night for parking to your nightly cost. I didn’t feel that was clear in the listing.
