A typical bed- and breafast with family connection.

The couple welcomes you on the terrace with coffee, cake and conversation (for english with google translater). Everything is clean and quiet even at night, despite the proximity to the main road. We were able to have an early breakfast to take advantage of the cooler morning time for the hiking day.

Very very kind hosts, we spent a friendly evening with them, tasting Igor's vodka. Excellent. Rich breakfast. Accommodation clean.

Shared bathroom with two other rooms so sometimes you have to wait. We had a triple room, there are four beds and one chair, no wardrobe, no desk. So you have to keep your things in your suitcase or spread them over other beds. This room has no window so it is dark. Other cheap double rooms are more pleasant.

Absolutely fantastic spot to stay for a few days! Igor and Gohar are lovely hosts, giving everyone a heartwarming welcome to their home. If you're in the area, do not hesitate to pick Igor's B&B for your accommodation.

Igor - a great host

Igor was an excellent, friendly, host who did everything to make our stay enjoyable. The food was excellent.

Because this part of Armenia is mostly cash-based, you can get caught out, like we did, by the lack of ATMs for miles around. When you eventually find one, they don't always have cash! This is nobody's fault; however, prospective visitors should ensure they have more than enough cash to cover their stay before travelling to southern Armenia.

- convenient location. It's the first building in the village, so it's the closest to the Wings of Tatev cable way to reach Tatev monastery - amazing view over the mountains - very welcoming and friendly hosts, feels like visiting your own family that look after you - very clean rooms - a big and tasty breakfast - the host treated us with home-made wine! also there is a big garden with apricots, mulberries and grape trees. - very educating talks with the hosts - TV in the hall if needed - stable Wi-Fi connection

- One bathroom - If you want to travel independently and explore everything by yourself, you may not like the immersion into the rural lifestyle for too long

Staying with Igor and his wife is the best experience of Armenian hospitality. They will do everything to make you feel good. It's the perfect place to relax, as Halidzor is in general. All clean and a great breakfast. Wings of Tatev is easy to reach. Best homemade Vodka ;)) This place is more like a Homestay.
