Домик над ущельем с панорамным видом

Чистый, аккуратный, уютный домик. Удобная широкая кровать. В номере есть стол, стаканы. Парковка рядом с домиком, удобно (мы были на машине). В отеле свой ресторан с очень вкусной домашней едой, можно заказать ужин прямо в номер. В отеле приятная атмосфера, замечательный доброжелательный персонал.

Nice hotel with good food and friendly staff

The staff were very friendly, especially the woman working in the restaurant. The breakfast that was provided was plenty and very tasty. We can also recommend dinner. Unfortunately, although the location is nice, the views from the rooms are sometimes blocked. Rooms have all the basic amenities and are clean. Overall, a really nice place that is worth staying at!

Disappointing

Very beautiful location with friendly staff who are very helpful and ready to assist. We had some none-standard requests and the staff was very cooperative with us. The place is near to main landmarks of Tatev. They provided nice breakfast.

The rooms were not properly cleaned and we had to ask the staff to clean the toilets again. In some rooms, the bathrooms are very small and are constructed in a way that it is not possible to throughly clean them. They have restaurant, but quality of food was not good at all.

WiFi in room didn't work, even when stuff tried to fix it. Expensive restaurant. You should wait several minutes before you will have a hot water in a shower. It's annoying.

Beautiful views but noisy road

The electricity was out all evening and night. We had to have dinner by by the flashlights of our phones. Dinner was very nice otherwise. At night the cabin was freezing cold and of course there was no light. Also, the views are beautiful but the road is very noisy with lots of trucks coming and going. If there had been electricity I would have rated this place higher.

View is the name of the game

Above all, the location - nice views.

Paper thin walls and squeaky floors, you can hear everything. If you are not in luck, "wrong" type of neighbour will keep you up at night.

Great place with fantastic view!!!

Everything was great, the location, the staff, the tiny house 🏠, the view, the breakfast.

Mattress was extra soft. But it is something specific. Understand that couldn't meet everyone's expectations.

“cabin in the wild” experience

everything that such a place would need. extensive menu - we had a nice late dinner when we came from the hike. breakfast is served from 9-11

it is near the road, so there is some noise coming from the passing cars (but thats the case with all other locations in the area). the place is “in the woods”, some ants crawling into the houses are unavoidable.

Exceptional

We really enjoyed our stay. The view is wonderful, the rooms are comfy, but the best is the people working there. They were so caring, welcoming and attentive. The food at the restaurant is delicious and at affordable price. You can also pay by card! Basically, what I want to say is: We really recommend to stay at Old Halidzor. We would, when we come again.

The impressions were generally positive.

Amazing place, wonderful nature, tasty food

The room was very small, the beds uncomfortable. There was a lot of noise from the cars, as the cottages were 10-15 meters away from the road.

A real monastery stay!

The hotel is beautifully situated. The staff is really nice. The food is good (breakfast and dinner)

The spirals of the mattresses are poking in your ribs (I didn’t know these mattresses still existed). The hotel is bare and soulless. We were there on a rather cold and rainy day with two other guests. There was no place to sit comfortably. All wooden chairs were straight, without a cushion. A fire place and a nice lounge with comfortable chairs would have done the trick!

We only stayed 1 night and it was ok but would look for something else another time.

The location of the place with a very nice view. Good breakfast and dinner (we ate at the property) although the food was served very slowly.

We booked 2 cabins (3 people +2 people). the room for 3 people was finished inside but the one for 2 appeared to have not been finished: ply wood walls. The rooms were very cold at night and we were provided very thin blankets, so woke up from cold, which was not nice. The tile floor in the bathroom was very cold. The bathroom had an unpleasant smell and the water in the shower was not warm long enough to take a decent shower.
