Location
Property is in dire need of updates and a thorough cleaning. Photos do not match apartment (there is no second couch near windows). Couch was very uncomfortable and not suitable for sleeping (even though it folds out).

I love the bathtub and spacious shower. The apartment is cute cozy and nicely decorated. You can adjust the temps to what suits you best with ease. And most importantly the hosts are nice and easy going, always respond when you contact them.
Can’t think of something I don’t like. It was a 10/10 stay.

The location is in within walking distance of many shops, restaurants etc.
BEWARE OF RATS on the street and back of the property near the trash bins. The rats come out at night in full effect in the neighborhood like its a block party and they run and jump right past you hunting for food the place is infested and theres rat traps but these rats are advanced. Next issue when you walk in the building the stairway smells like it has never been cleaned. The 2 bdrm unit didn’t smell or look cleaned professionally. There was dog hair all over the couch, and furniture. The bed comforter had a noticeable stain on it. The floor look like it never was swept or mopped. The shower had mold growing in there where the caulking is and smelled like sewer water. I used the separate tub cause the shower was super nasty. The a/c vents in the ceiling look like they never had the filters changed and was so dirty. You would think with covid people would make cleanliness a priority. I couldn’t wait to get out of this place. I would NEVER stay there again.

The door code that I was given did not work! So that was a moment of panic. My son had to call the property which caused a delay in getting in to the apartment. They had to reset the code because housekeeping changed the code we were given:(
The remote for the TV did not work. We called again and they dropped off new batteries. Then the remote worked, but we could only get Netflix. No local or sports channels:(
The reservation was for 5 people. Not enough washcloths or towels for 5 people, so that was another text to the property.
Then only 1/2 bottle of cheap Suave body wash in shower. No shampoo or conditioner. I had asked if these were provided in a message to property weeks before arrival and no one responded back.

The bathroom was huge. I lived the big bathtub and the steam shower. The place was clean. The bed was comfortable and it was close to the things we wanted to do
When the ad for the place listed, parking as an amenity there should be an asterisk * next to PARKING with a, $ sign or something that states in the list of amenities that parking is available for an extra fee next to it. I did not know parking cost an extra $45 per day until after I booked. I thought it was an amenity/included in the cost. I'm glad it was available and we keys for it, (had to really,) but I didn't budget for it when I booked. Also an * asterisk should be next to the word, kitchen in the amenity list. I realized it was a kitchenette (, no oven/stove) when I read the full description. Glad I caught that and it was fine, The door with the code was a bit difficult at times but it was a cool place. We liked it and had a great time, just feedback. Your asked.

nothing the house door doesn't even lock properly 😒 , make sure you sleep with one eye open ! Also there is no kitchen! no stove top and I swear the owner was watching us, she kept calling us about things we were unsure how she knew ! me personally I don't think she likes blacks , she was taken as if I was a child. very rude would never stay! I TOOK PICTURES OF THE THREE ITEMS THAT WERE IN THE" kitchen " area idk if these are cameras but keep note

we loved that it was walking distance from our son! great location to see all the main sites of chicago and great restaurants. It was clean, plenty of room for our grandbaby to walk around and play in. The host was exceptional friendly and answered all our questions.

The location was perfect! The place smelled very fresh. And the washer and dryer were definitely a plus. MJ is the PERFECT host. Very easy to contact with any questions or concerns. MJ even offered to rent the apartment parking spot to us which was nice. The shower was BEAUTIFUL 😍. The lighting was perfect. Overall, I would recommend this place to friends for sure!
The soaker tub was full of dirt and glitter which was unfortunate because we really wanted to use it. There were a lot of spiders/webs and dust. There wasn't enough seating in the "kitchen" area and the table top to the outdoor table was missing... The couches and bed sheets had stains.

Prime location. Short walk to Wrigley! Apartment was perfect & will definitely use again in the future!

Good location.
Host was easy to contact but when internet didn’t work, they didn’t go out of their way to help. They did respond but essentially said they would look into the problem AFTER I left. The host had no hand soap in the bathroom so I had to make a quick run to the store. I feel like a guest should expect hand soap since it’s not something one typically packs. The place was clean enough but not what you would expect in the time of COVID. The toilet ran continuously. The TV could never connect to the internet. All in all, the location was the only really good thing about the place. It’s a cool apt with nice architecture. There’s no kitchen but it does have a full size washer and dryer. I would not stay again
