This place is a gem. Should not recommend as want to keep it all to ourselves!

Bags of character, comfortable, spacious rooms.
Our room was right at the top, so several sets of stairs with cases.

We had a wonderful overnight stay.Lovely property steeped in history. Welcoming owners , a most enjoyable evening meal and breakfast.

Breakfasts were lovely. The rooms were excellent and very spacious as were the bathrooms. Dinner (cooked by Hywel) was wonderful and his knowledge of the (very) local wines was fantastic. It was lovely eating by the little pool and Tilly the dog was a great companion! Mel very kindly booked a great restaurant for us as well as recommending a very good Chateau (Bablut) for us to visit for some wine tasting. We would happily come again!
Nothing that I can think of!

Everything was incredibly comfortable, worked really well and was modern and very stylish. The hosts are lovely, and the food (supper and breakfast) were delicious. The wine choices and most of their produce were all sourced from within 20 mins of the manor. Extremely relaxing place - highly, highly recommended.

Beautifully restored old property, lovely spacious room(we were generously upgraded).Excellent dinner and breakfast, helpful and interesting owners.
It was end of swimming season, but pool area needed some attention.
Probably need some from of 2 or 4 wheeled transport to enjoy staying here,as it is quite isolated

It was a wonderful stay in a great B&B. warm and very devotes hosts, a great suite with everything you need for a relaxing vacation.
Great breakfast and a three-course- menu that changes in the evening. Vineyards all around, a pool, various seating furniture in the park-like garden

Beautiful setting, with a gorgeous garden and right next door to a vineyard and historic chateau. Amazing views from the bedroom windows. The pool area is a lovely addition and we enjoyed a complementary glass of local cremant in the sunshine on the smart garden furniture there when we arrived. The room (we were in la reine) was huge, with smart furnishings again and very comfortable bed. Spotlessly clean and recently renovated with great style. We booked dinner which is a must - four delicious courses accompanied with local wines, all presented by the chef and host. We travelled with our dog, who was warmly and genuinely welcomed, allowed to roam freely in all areas, and even got away with swiping the owners’ dog’s bone! We enjoyed our stay so much we booked a return visit when we checked out. An unreserved 10/10.

Very luxurious and well converted manoir. Swimming pool was Not big but positioned in nice garden with flowers. The Le Roi room was kept in original style with fireplace and wooden beams and original tiles. Bathroom was excellent with big bath and big walking shower. All at high standards. The owners, Mel and Hywell are very hospitable and want to make your stay as pleasant as possible. They have very nice mountain bikes you can use. Dinner and wines are very good and that also applies to the breakfast.
Relaxing area around swimming
Pool is not big if the house is fully booked (4 rooms) and more people
Want to lay around the swimming pool

A very lovely place in the mervelous French country side close the Loire. At Manoir de Jouralem each thing is accurate and each detail is perfect. We really enjoyed staying there, and only regret to not stay longer.
