Room was ok size. View was beautiful.
Coffee pot, TV and clothes drying rack not working. The big big disappointment was the 4 very steep rocky deteriorating asphalt hills you need to walk up and down to get to the property. It’s dangerous and accidents could easily happen. The owner did offer a few rides but it was when she was available. Prospective renters should be advised of this situation! It’s not just a hill.

Very clean and good space. The view of Vesuvius was great.
Walking up the steep hill from street to property is tiring in the heat.

One of the best apartment I have been so far!!! Everything was great. The owner was so kind and helpful - hospitality was one of the things that made our stay so special :) Claudie offered us a ride to train station and cared about our comfort all the time. She was bringing snacks and food and water every day. The apartment is very clean and new and modern. The views are breathtaking from the private garden. HIGHLY RECOMMEND THIS PLACE! <3

Shanti Home is the perfect location! We thoroughly enjoyed our stay here, Claudia kindly gave us rides to and from the port on arrival and departure of our stay. She also did some baking for us which was very yummy! We also enjoyed our dinner at the in-home restaurant here, food was super tasty and service excellent. I would definitely recommend staying at Shanti Home.

It was great to get a free lift to and from the train station.

The location was good, not to far from the centre, but up a hill (which you can only really walk - see my comment about parking). The supply for breakfast was one of the few things that we thought could be improved. It was very basic and perhaps not what one would expect in Italy.
The property cannot really count as having parking. The access to the property by car is extremely difficult and unless you have one of the narrow Italian cars, it is impossible. The alternative is to park at a hotel nearby (down the hill) that the host arranges, but at at extra cost of 40Euros. So the price effectively does not include parking. The other issue of the property is that the toilet door does not close so a bit tricky if you want to privacy. This could easily the fixed.

The hostess Claudia was helpful and accommodating and even picked us up at the train. Private patio with comfortable chairs and wonderful views. Kitchenette was handy and with refrigerator. We’ll located to wonderful Thai restaurant but a walk to main squares. Very quiet with good Heating and air conditioning system . We love to walk/ hike and there were several pathways to the top of the nearby mountain that we enjoyed.
B&B was really not a full breakfast—- Claudia provided food ( and even picked up a few items we like) but you made your own breakfast and washed your own dishes.
WiFi was intermittent at best and frequently dropped during use and internet essentially poor to non existent. If you need to conduct any business over internet—- forget it. From Main Street to Shanti is 0.4 miles up a steep and poorly paved single lane with 2 way traffic and blind turns—— would not suggest for anyone frail or out of shape or in high heels or walking at night. (We did not have a car and parking in town is horrible anyway).

Beautiful sea views and the host really tried her best to make us comfortable. We got snacks every morning. It's conveniently located and the host picked us up and dropped us off at the central station when we arrived and departed.
WiFi was slow and dropped a few times.

Shanti Home is located in a nice, peaceful area of Sorrento, but still very close, 10 minutes walk to the center. The accommodation is very comfortable, nicely decorated and has a beautiful garden where you can enjoy the scenery. Close to Shanti home, there is also a less crowded beach, la Martinella, then the ones în the center of Sorrento.Mrs Claudia was very nice and picked us from the station.

Our hosts Umberto and Claudia were super nice and most helpful. They gave us a lift from Sorrento train station to the accommodation and also to the port when we left. They also provided us with a map and information about bus and ferry scheduled when we needed it and made sure we had everything we needed.
The apartment was very clean and had a small kitchen so we could prepare snacks and breakfast. We had a big terrace we could eat and enjoy the views. Speaking of which: you get an excellent view of Mount Vesuvius from the terrace! It was a perfect place to enjoy a glass of wine during sunset. The apartment itself was in a basemet with it's own entrance from the terrace and the temperature inside stayed low throughout the day.
The location was ok. You can easily walk to Sorrento center or to Sant'Agnello. There's a busy road and a train track very near, but the sound didn't bother us. The house is on a narrow calm street that is basically a cul-de-sac, so there's no through traffic.
Overall, me and my parter really enjoyed our stay in Shanti Home and definiely recommend this, especially for young(ish) couples. For us it was a home away from home in Sorrento!
We didn't have complaints really, but there there are a few things you shoud know about the place:
The locations is ok, but you need to walk to get anywhere. The road to the house is very narrow and may not be suitable for a rental car. To get to the house you need to walk along a busy street with very narrow sidewalks. We vere a bit shocked at firts, but got used to it when we started to understand italian traffic culture.
The breakfast is included, but you kinda have to preapare it yourself. They provide eggs, toast, yougurt, cereal, milk etc. But if you want fried eggs there are frying pans and butter provided. For us this was actually a great thing because we wanted to prepare part of the breakfast for snacks when we returned from daytrips.

We very much appreciated Claudia’s help to park our car in the hotel parking lot (recommended for anyone not used to the narrow streets of Sorrento) and bring our luggage to the B&B. The studio is exactly as advertised and is very clean. We enjoyed New Year’s Eve with amazing fireworks that can be watched from the terrasse. Claudia even offered us champagne ! The place is very quiet and an easy 15 minute walk to downtown and good restaurants. We are a family of 4 with 2 teenagers and the place was comfortable for two nights. Claudia also spent some time on the evening of New year’s eve to print us forms that we needed for our flight! We would definitely come back 😊

Claudia- the owner is very nice and helpful. The place is clean and has a beautiful view from there terrace. It is 10 minutes walk from the center of Sorrento. You will love it if you like tranquility and silence.
You should come by train or in a really small car. The street is extremely narrow.

Very friendly staff: they helped with booking a great day trip to Capri and made sure the apartment was clean!
It was a bit of a walk to the center and back so if you wanted to have dinner you had to walk a bit to reach the restaurants.

The hosts Claudia and her son, Umberto were remarkable hosts! Every request and detail was taken care of without hesitation. They went above and beyond expectations to make our Easter break extra special. Homemade Easter cake, freshly squeezed juice and full breakfast every morning. We will definitely be back. Thank YOU.

The property is very clean and comfortable. The room was big enough for our family of four and it had everything we needed. The hosts Umberto and Claudia were brilliant and so helpful. They provided us with very useful information regarding the area. They even organised an amazing guided tour boat trip of Capri which was unmissable!😍 Also the view from the garden is stunning!! Thank you so much for our stay, we all loved it!
Nothing! Everything was perfect!
