La ubicación próxima al centro pero es lo único. Todo muy dejado. No repetiría. Las fotos de la publicidad no rebelan la realidad.

Ubicado en calle muy transitada pero lo peor, que la está pegado a la via del tren. La pared de la cama da a la via del tren. Pasa el primer tren a las 5:30 h de la mañana. Mantenimiento deficiente: mampara ducha descolgada, juntas negras, grifos con cal, zócalo ducha desenganchado, hormigas, no hay microondas, no hay campana extractora.

Fantastic stay

Place is very central to Sorrento town, only 10 minute walk from the station. Great place to stay would recommend.

Could do with some wine glasses but overall great facilities for cooking and relaxing!

Superb

Lovely apartment, exactly like on photos, comfortable bed, kitchen facilities.Easy to pick up the key on arrival.

Shower takes a while to heat up. Parking is 20 euros per day opposite but no parking is any cheaper so take the train there instead.

Had a great week

Good location, only 10 minutes from the main square. The apartment was clean and comfortable. Host was nice and accomodating. He communicated well and answered my texts very quickly.

Wasn't that well equipped, e.g. the kitchen didnt have some basic things like olive oil etc for cooking, no showering products except bodywash.

It was alright, good for two people not one

Spacious room and good size bed

The shower drainage wasn’t very good, took forever to drain if you didn’t turn it off during your shower it would flood! Also the sink plug wouldn’t open once closed!

dirty and horrible

Location

unfriendly host, bad communication, we arranged late check-in because of the flight and they were unresponsive for days, when we came the room was dirty, full of pubes, hair and dust, the sheets had stains, we didn’t get any towels, there was a shampoo all over the shower probably from the tourists before us, there is a railway right behind the building and it’s really loud even during the night, to sum up book something else.

The host left us the key in a safe box, so the check in was very easy! The studio is in a main street with a lot of restaurants and other things very useful. The bus station a city center are from a walking distance away.

Great location and price. thanks to the small kitchen area we were able to be a little self sufficient when needed (making food for day trips, having a morning coffee as we were getting ready). Saw a lot of reviews complain about noise but this absolutely wasn’t an issue for us (both in early 20s for reference).

Air con rattled a little, the front door to the building was always open and the doors to the balcony were a little awkward to open

La Playa needs an update if it wants to survive in a competitive market

The close proximity to the centre and transport hub’s although it was little noisy with traffic and the rail line but we were aware of this when making the booking

We stayed in a B & B in Naples after our visit to La Playa which was cheaper and immaculately clean where La Playa needs an update and the cleanliness needs to be reviewed as the standard was very low

Good place to explore the Amalfi coast

Nunzia is a great host! She made sure we could check in even half an hour ealier and was very responsive on the messages I send her. Location is good, just a ten minute walk to the city. Sorrento is a great place to explore the Amalfi coast. There is a small supermarket nearby, good for some daily groceries.

Unfortunately the fridge was not working, but after mentioning the next day the new fridge arrived. As renting out appartments ourselves, we noticed that some things could be cleaned better. In my opinion, fresh paint, a new toilet seat and making sure everyting is without limescale does already a lot. The house is indeed next to the railway, however, we did not find the noise any problem.

Generally an ok apartment if your just looking for somewhere to sleep. Location was good, about a ten minute walk into the square. Communication with host was also good.

A few things that we feel are worth mentioning are as follows. The apartment is on a very busy road and nearby a train track so it is very noisy throughout the day and night. The main blinds were also not functioning so it was very very light in the room early in the morning. Kitchen facilities were very basic such that we didn’t feel we’d be able to cook in the room, so not ideal if that’s something you like to do.

fantastic value for money

the hosts were so friendly and kind. the apartment is so clean and really efficient and had everything we needed. just a short 10 minute walk to the centre aswell and about 5/6 minutes to the Train station. superb prices and really good value for money.

Great location and spacious apartment. bathroom could do with a update for hot water production

Great location about 15 minute straight walk to centre square past plenty of food stops. Spacious apartment. Good wifi

Shower would not produce hot water. Wardrobe stuffed with random things Fridge had a smell to it so we didn't use it. Room not very well.soumdproofed between apartments. Front door appearance very unattractive and left open for anyone to walk in. Corridore stuffed with a selection of cleaning things and mops lying around. Parking fee not updated and is now €20 a night against the €16 listed in description.

Perfect stay!

I loved all the accommodation, located next to the bus station and a step away from the center and the port. You can walk to all the sights. Inside it is beautiful, it does not lack detail and it is decorated with great taste. Nunzia and Raffaele are hosts of the best, punctual and attentive to everything, they helped us a lot and gave us all the information we needed. If I could go back to Sorrento, I would stay here again!
