Alles is prima in orde.
Geen opmerkingen.

Vriendelijk, behulpzaam personeel. Locatie mooi centraal gelegen in een heerlijk rustige wijk. Gratis parkeren en mooie ruime, schone kamers.
Ontbijt is simpel maar wel lekker.

Lovely host. Super clean room
Everything was perfect

The bed was comfortable, the whole house is clean, the shower is big and clean. Our room was big with a garden view. Hostess was very warm and welcoming. We had a perfect stay. Free parking in front of the house was wonderful. Room had robes and a tea kettle. we would definitely stay again. Very close to old town Ghent if you have a car.
Everything was perfect

The hosts were extremely accomodating and friendly. They helped when we left our phone in a taxi and also when we accidentally took the room keys back to the UK! Everything worked at the b and b and there were beers and wine available at very reasonable prices. I would definitely return here although bear in mind it is a little out of town.
Nothing.

A beautifully restored old farmhouse.
Rose is a lovely host and could not have been more helpful or accommodating. Her home is carefully restored, maintaining many original features.
We were not made aware of having to share our bathroom and toilet and a very embarrassing encounter with another guest was only narrowly avoided.
The extra charge for the continental breakfast was very pricey for what we were offered and would have been expensive at half the price charged. For 40 euros including the tax for just 2 people, we expected more choices and though the breakfast was beautifully presented in a lovely dining room, we felt cheated.

Nothing
I left my stuff in the room and check out early, but my companion check out at 11:00, How come they can't give my stuff to him? I am very disappointed about the service and how bad the room is. First of all, the room they gave to me was very small and uncomfortable. Due to the door handle being broken, they swap a studio room for me, but it was still not great.

The host is friendly
We booked a room without free cancellation based on the description provided - however as it turned out this place doesn’t have bikes to rent anymore, which was one of the reasons we chose it.
Toilet/bathroom were outside of the room and on another floor, shared with other guests. The room was cold and didn’t feel very welcoming especially for the price paid.

We arrived late evening and received a pleasant welcome. Our room was clean and cosy and the bed was very comfortable.
In the morning we met Rose, our friendly, generous host, who provided a superb breakfast with a large buffet and even cooked us eggs. As it was Easter the hall, lounge and dining room were tastefully decorated with Easter bunnies, flowers and eggs and looked very festive.
The lovely old house is located in a quiet side road with individual houses with large gardens not far from the motorway. It was not difficult to locate with SatNav.
We would certainly choose to stay here again.
The Budget Room did not have en-suite facilities although the WC was close by. The upstairs bathroom was excellent.

good location, beautiful place and the host was Amazing, it was easter weekend and she gave us some Easter eggs she made and painted. everything was perfect
4.0
The hospitality of the hostess and the comfort of the room.
5.0
The owners/employees of the B&B. (A++)
Well renovated/maintained house, good mix of modern components in rooms, while maintaining the old parts of the house.
Well equipped rooms.
Value for money, compared to most of other options in or close to Ghent.
There are some Public transport options, the closest is a 10 minute walk for a bus stop, on a road that does not really have a sidewalk.
I think the house is better suited for people who have their own means of transportation or use taxis / Ubers.
3.0
Confortable bathroom and toilet
Fridge makes quite a lot of noice in the small room.

I loved this little B&B. It is a reasonable price for Ghent and the facilities were good. The place was very clean and cosy and it really felt like you were a guest into a relative's home. The staff was so kind and helpful and accommodating. The floor was wooden and good quality, there was heating and the bathroom was also big.

it was placed in a lovely setting and the house is so lovely to be in excellent stay

The house is a dream come true! So beautiful! Keeping the classic features of its period but with all the comfort and modern touches.
Jack and his mum were very kind !!
4.0
Proximity to the motorway for single overnight stay en route to Calais.
Friendliness of the staff and facilities on offer (although I didn't use any of them).
Nothing...I was only there for a brief overnight stop off.

AVOID:
This is a really lovely old traditional house, wifi ok. Shame that the host is not honest, and it was misrepresented and expensive! The host does not respect guests or accept responsibility or refund when its due.
Advertised with a pool in the garden - this was empty and not in use - which should have been stated, but wasn't. Other guests say the same that the pool if off even in Summer!
It was very expensive and for that high price breakfast should be included. An extra 15 euro for 1 breakfast is ridiculous!
Also disappointing was that my daughter and I had to sleep in the same bed/room when there was an empty spare room attached to us in what was an upstairs apartment - petty that the host did not let us use that room.
It was also annoying that other people/family were using the bathroom and were noisy and not cleaning it - we thought this was only for our use.
There is a dog that barks a lot - all day and night, it appears aggressive, if you don't like dogs then avoid as we were scared to come downstairs. Again not stated so if you are scared of dogs or have an allergy this is an issue!
You are living in the family home really in one room of an upstairs apartment -the host does not class this as a B&B and rents the rooms out to pay for the mortgage on the house (he told me)
There was a new baby and balloons up - unprofessional really as this is a hotel - the prices should be cheaper!
The family were sat in the lounge with the dog so we felt unable to use this.
The family treat this as their home and paying guests are disregarded really. The prices charged are extortionate!
Difficult to find as not many signs, lovely area, a bit of a walk to the bus stop and nothing interesting nearby - beware as Belgium is very expensive and lots of students on bikes that almost run you over!
And also beware as host will refuse to refund you for any issues despite being at fault for not advertising the room honestly! very dishonest.
Expensive and unprofessional host
breakfast should be included
Guests not respected
Pool not in use - not stated.
Aggressive barking dog.
Other guests/family using bathroom
lack of privacy.
Poor hygiene as dog running around in kitchen!

Very nice and friendly owner, room was very clean, all necessary things were in the room
Poor sound insulation

Friendly staff, clean place and I like that they dont bother you. Ive stayed there for 3 days and only talked with the staff 2 times. Wich is great if you are rather asocial. But at the same time. They are friendly and open enough that if you are a social person, you'd be able to talk alot more.
Nothing much. I tended to leave early and arrive very late so after drinking my complementary water I was unable to ask them for more. But then again, I could have maybe also put a note on my door. So besides that there wasn't anything that bothered me in my stay there.
