Semplicemente meravigliosa
Casa estremamente confortevole e molto carina in stile shabby chic.

The magic garden of Kipo's
We are two families with two 10 years old children. We stayed at Kipo's for two weeks. Geraldine and her husband were very welcoming and they picked up us at the airport. Their house is located in the old capital of the island (Chora), a small village with white streets. What mostly surprises you when you arrive is the “magic” garden where you will have the opportunity to spend wonderful evenings. Lemon, apricot and vines trees create shade and a fantastic microclimate. The house is beautiful, recently restored with beautiful details. I really appreciate the conservative restoration of the house.
An excellent fresh wine of the island was waiting for us to start our vacation. It is essential to have a car or a schooter to reach the various places that the island offers. In the evening you can find a very comfortable and welcoming tavern (Antonius Tavern) where you can dine peacefully in a family atmosphere.
Nearby you can also find small shops with what you need for breakfast and if you want to dine in the garden.
I highly recommend this house for those who love the true greek atmosphere and have the cult of the beauty. If I have the chance I'll definitely be back.

We loved it here! It was a lovely village house in a genuine, non-tourist village with all the noises, smells and cacophony that you get in everyday life - including the neighbour giving us fresh eggs from her hens.
The house, Kipo, is just gorgeous for a holiday with a wonderful garden and plenty of outdoor spaces to eat, or just sit and relax, or read and have coffee. The beds are comfortable; the ensuite is adequate for two people and the main bathroom is spacious; the kitchen is well-equipped with some thoughtful snacks, plus tea and coffee to get you started; and the WiFi is excellent.
It may be slightly impractical in colder months if you wanted to eat inside as the kitchen is downstairs (with two adjoining bedrooms) and the inside dining area upstairs. We didn't use this at all for meals while we were there, as it was mid-to-late September and we had our meals outdoors.
Geraldine was great to deal with via email, and George her caretaker/manager was really helpful and friendly and ready to assist with anything if required.
Our one tip: make sure you have a car or scooter. Hora is just a bit out of the way to be relying on public transport or walking everywhere. And, if it's a car, make sure it's a small one because the drive to the parking space for the house predates cars as the normal mode of transport!
