Lovely apartment with beautiful decor, well-equipped and ideally located. Welcome package was a nice touch after a long journey.

Nice apartment, beautifully decorated and fitted. Would certainly recommend.
Only negative was the very slow Wi-Fi - and the qr code provided was ideal for connecting on the phone- but not quite so easy on the laptop or firestick - an analogue code would have helped .
Fortunately we were able to access BT Wi-Fi at the location.

Great accommodation in really good location
The apartment is lovely and spacious with plenty of storage space and very well equipped. The wine, milk and flowers were a lovely touch especially after our long journey. We were lucky with the weather so we were actually out every day and the apartment was ideally situated for getting onto the coast path and visiting the National Trust properties and parks which all had lovely walks. Just hope we left it almost as clean and tidy as we found it.

Lighthouse view apartments
Nice apartment and nice welcome package. The location was nice and quiet and not to bad a walk into the town centre. A street map of the town in the information booklet might help people get their bearings, as not everyone has sat nav.

Staying at Lighthouse View
Great place to escape to for holiday or short break. Close to sea and local town.
I am familiar with the area so I had an idea where the location was.
The apartment is well set up with everything you need like a home from home.
The host provided everything you would need, including towels etc. On arrival there was Milk , bottle of wine and fresh flowers which were a lovely welcome, especially after a long journey.

Lighthouse View is a lovely place to stay for a week in Cromer
We arrived after dark to the welcome of a lovely warm apartment with fresh flowers and a bottle wine! Perfect! The apartment is very comfortable, beautifully decorated, well equipped and in a fantastic location. It is within walking distance to Cromer town centre (20 mins) and the North Norfolk Coastal Path (15 mins). The Cromer Coast Hopper bus stop is 5 mins walk away. My husband tried both the Chinese Takeaway and the Fish & Chip Shop just round the corner and said the Chinese food was the best he could remember!
We had a memorable week staying at Lighthouse View and exploring North Norfolk. Thank you.

Lovely relaxing stay
We had a lovely relaxing stay over new year. Positives :
It’s a lovely apartment
Customer service and instructions were very clear
Welcome fizz and chocolates very welcome
Quiet, secure and comfortable
Negatives :
Would have liked the crockery and glasses to have been a bit cleaner
Only one sofa in lounge, an armchair would have helped
Small, fabric wardrobe. Would have liked more hanging storage spaces
20 minute walk to town centre but taxis are cheap (£3.60) and readily available

Cromer apartment - recommended
Lovely apartment, clean and warm (we really appreciated the complementary milk and wine). We were there at the start of the Covid-19 outbreak unfortunately when things were starting to get serious, and decided to return home a couple of days early. Parking is good although it can occasionally be a little tight when all the apartments are occupied. This isn't a problem though because the road outside is very wide and not very busy, with ample room to park. The centre of Cromer is about 20 minutes walk away via the roads, or you can take the scenic route up to the lighthouse and along the coastal path - lovely views from near the lighthouse at night when you can see the lights of Cromer and the ships out at sea. You'll need a torch if you're walking up to the lighthouse at night. There's a fish/chips shop and a Chinese takeaway about 5 minutes walk away. Also a small supermarket 10 minutes walk away. In town there's a large Morrisons and a Lidl on the same road. The centre of Cromer also has a filling station. A short drive away are National Trust properties Felbrigg Hall and Blickling Hall with large interesting grounds for walks. Another great place for walking is Sheringham Park and this is really nice. In Sheringham itself you can gain access to the North Norfolk railway. About 3/4 hour's drive south, you may spot the seals lying on the beach at Horsey Gap. Last week, when we were there, we saw literally hundreds of seals on the beach (but it's worth researching to see which months of the year that they're around, before you visit). Finally, Cromer does have a railway station that gives access to Norwich if interested. This was our third or fourth visit to this property, and we'll almost certainly be back. You Tube has some short videos of Cromer and these are really helpful for getting to know the area.

Comfortable stay
Had a lovely stay at lighthouse view. It was a very comfortable flat in a good position for walks on the cliff top. It was also an easy walk into town. Everything we needed was there but for a longer stay would have liked a washer/dryer.

Lovely apartment in a good location
We enjoyed our stay at Lighthouse view, it was a lovely, spacious apartment in a great location and we would recommend it to anyone.
Having said that there were a few things that I would say that could be improved upon. One of these would be the showerhead. It drastically needs descaling and cleaning as it is black with limescale, the rest of the bathroom is lovely and clean it was just this one part that needed some serious cleaning.
Also, it would have been great if a pan scrubber/sponge had been there for cleaning as the cleaning cloth provided didn't shift the dirt and the dishwasher didn't touch it either.
Upon arrival, we were told we would have a parking space at our allocated number but there was a car parked in the space, I think this was because the numbers are very faint on the ground so you can't see where to park unless you get out of the car and look very closely. We managed to still park in the apartment car park but just not in the space allocated, this continued for the rest of our stay too, we never actually managed to park where we were allocated. This was more of a be aware point for the owners, rather than a moan as we still got parked ok.

Cromer break
Slightly disappointed
-On arrival had trouble identifying the keypad for flat and how to uncover keys, had to try all of them.
-Flat 6 left a note on my car I was in her allocated spot, unaware of allocations and eventually discovered some well worn numbers on pavement, hardly legible.
-Sash windows rattled when opened.
-Mattress and settee very low,
-Settee at right angles to TV.
Location reasonable but would have liked a plan of area with places to eat and see.

Short break in Norfolk
Enjoyed our stay at Lighthouse View, light airy rooms, however needs a little love in places, perfectly adequate for a weeks break.

Lighthouse View - home from home.
I had a very comfortable and relaxing stay at Lighthouse View. The bottle of wine awaiting my arrival was a nice touch, as was the pint of milk in the fridge. It is in a very peaceful location, but close to amenities including takeaways. The rooms are bright, airy, well furnished, and set in a beautiful building.
And there is a view of the lighthouse!

For a two week stay a washing machine and dryer is an essential
The only ventilation in flat was via the windows and the bedroom especially was almost impossible to open.

Recommended Accommodation
We chose Lighthouse View because it specifically said no pets, it wasn't too close to the centre of Cromer, had WiFi and off-road allocated parking. The rooms were very spacious and bright. On arrival, there was a complimentary carton of milk and a bottle of wine, which was nice. The accommodation was quiet and we didn't hear anything from the adjacent flats. Parking was in a dedicated space on the driveway. The road outside is wide and there's lots of easy parking there for any extra cars. We spent most days walking to the centre of Cromer which takes about 20-25 minutes, which was perfect for us. The lighthouse and coastal path is also just a 10-15 minute walk away. Cromer has a huge Morrisons supermarket on the other side of town, and there's a small convenience store just on the other side of the park from the accommodation. The WiFi, although not 'superfast', was reliable and fine for general internet use. All in all, we'd be happy to come back here.

Superb accomodation and service
Delightful apartment, very well appointed, lovely decor, good open view. Extremely spacious. Initial problem with water/heating was very efficiently dealt with by both agent and owner. Service from agent was really first class. Excellent location for easy access to Cromer, and for walking on coast, which was purpose of our stay. A pleasure to stay in in every way, and we certianly hope to visit again.

BY THE SEA NEAR THE COUNTRY
A GREAT LOCATION FOR BOTH WALKING THE COAST AND DRIVING TO OTHER COASTAL AND COUNTRY LOCATIONS.WELL EQUIPPED, SPACIOUS FLAT IN A QUIET AREA. MANY GREAT PLACES TO EAT OR BUY PICNICS. WE TRAVELED TO GREAT YARMOUTH, HUNSTANTON THE OTHER WAY AND NORWICH INLAND. TWO OR THREE NATIONAL TRUST LOCATIONS ARE LOVELY VILLAGES BETWEEN DESTINATIONS. WE STARTED WITH THE INFORMATION LEFT IN THE FLAT. WOULD HIGHLY RECOMMEND THE LIGHTHOUSE VIEW TO YOUNG AND OLD ALIKE.

A quiet and comfortable flat
We enjoyed our stay at the flat once we had found it, the travel instructions were incorrect with a rogue paragraph related to a road 30miles away fortunately a location map in Cromer cliff top car park solved our problem l have written to Norfolk Hideaways regarding this problem also pointing out that there are 3 key pads on the side of the building so we had to try all before success.
Despite all this l would use the company again
