the friendliness of staff, and the amazing wildlife experiences
Bar closed early and we had bi fridge in the tent

The best part of our 3 night stay was the daily morning safari and evening boat cruise with our Guide OT. He was so knowledgeable and made each trip out an adventure that we won’t forget. 😊 We saw so many animals and enjoyed a beautiful sunset too. The glamping experience was very good too….comfortable bed with great shower and bath looking out over the river, very relaxing. All meals were included and while it wasn’t gourmet food it was quite good and the staff were accommodating of our needs/requests. Likewise the included wines (when available) were good too. We appreciated the addition of a ‘frig in our tent/room as the weather was warm and it was really essential and not a luxury. The wifi was the best we had in Africa 😊 We appreciated being dropped off @ the airport by OT. Highly recommend that you stay here.
Unfortunately we were the only guests staying here over our 3 night visit and it was quite disconcerting, with staff hovering around as we were the only ones to wait on. We enjoyed the quiet, but extreme extroverts may have not enjoyed it!

Everything was just awesome. The staff is incredibly nice, Spha (the chef) is an amazing cook! My wife is a celiac, she can`t eat gluten, and they manage to prepare her even gluten-free bread, cake and pasta!! The game/boat drives we had were the best ones we`ve had, by far. Kabo, our guide, managed to find every animal we wanted to see (even leopard and hyenas) and somehow was able to answer every question we threw at them. The tents are amazing: you would think that given that it`s tents you`d find a lot of bugs, but we didn`t see a single bug inside our tent during our 3-days in the hotel. The balcony view from our room was just overlooking the river, and we manage to see buffalos, impalas and hippos just passing by. We were even woken up one day by monkeys knocking on the roof and the walls! As a bonus, the internet connection works well, even from the rooms and the borderless pool overlooking the river is also great. We had 3 amazing days at Jackalberry!!
Absolutely nothing.

great location on the Chobe river with a gorgeous view. Elegant and comfortable tent with a beautiful bathroom.
The entire staff was extremely helpful, pleasant and accommodating. Martin and his team went out of their way to make our stay a most enjoyable one.

Loved the location right on the Chobe river and a short drive to Chobe national park. Our river facing room, was clean, luxurious and comfortable with all the amenities needed for our stay. The food and drinks were a treat but the best part of our stay was the lodge staff (Martin, Dekatso, Innocent) and our guide, Jack. They went out of their way to ensure we had a pleasant stay and the best Chobe bush experience. They are the true gems of the lodge and the highlight of our stay at Jackalberry Chobe. Would rate this lodge 15 out of 10.
There isn't a single thing I can fault.

Absolutely loved the location on the Chobe river and with everything so new at the lodge and phenomenal wildlife and bird sightings!
Staff were incredible and managed to cater to every need we had.
Our guide was exceptional and shared such immense knowledge. This is definitely a place we would recommend and would love to visit again! Thanks to Martin, Innocent, Sha, Umphelo and Justice!!

The location was ideal. All the staff were brilliant. Our guide in the Chobe was amazing and I would go as far to say Justice was the most knowledgeable game guide I have ever had. I would recommend staying at the lodge on a all inclusive basis so you don't have worry about any of the usual pricey extras.
We didn't have anything to complain about. Any issues were dealt with promptly.

Our stay at Jackalberry Lodge was exceptional! The location is perfect, directly on the Chobe River. The wonderful view and the modern and luxuriously furnished tents make the stay very pleasant. The kitchen deserves 5 stars. The staff is extremely accommodating, helpful and also fulfils special requests. The game drives with Jack were very interesting, he taught us a lot about animals and wildlife.

The location was incredible!
The entrance gate is not appealing at all. There is no real coffee - they rely on sachets Coffee in the rooms as well as the restaurant.
