About this house rental

This beautifully refreshed mid-century home was converted in to a year-round short-term rental house in July 2021, inviting you to gather, host or rest during your stay in B/CS. At @TheParkwayHouse we offer two living areas with dimmable lights, a large kitchen with island seating and all of the important kitchen amenities (wine glasses, 12-cup coffeemaker, toaster, dishes, pots/pans, cooking utensils & spices).

The beds are super comfy and spacious, there are plenty of towels and all your basic needs will be provided for with welcoming details, as we strive to give you a five-star stay! Excellent WIFI with a private modem accommodates seamless streaming to the smart TV and a great work environment.

Feel at home by parking in the drive or on the street in front of our house, but please be mindful to not overfill street parking directly in front of the neighbors’ houses. You are welcome to instead use the street parking in front of the nearby park and school (3 doors down) to host additional guests during daytime hours, but not overnight.

No smoking inside. You are welcome to smoke on patio area. No pets allowed unless otherwise discussed. Quiet hours will be enforced at 9:00pm-no loud music, no loud outside conversations or parties. Do Not park on grass. Thank you for your consideration.

Check-in (4:00pm unless otherwise discussed):
Your front door entrance will be keypad coded to the last four digits of the phone number used at booking for convenience and ease. Your group can come and go as you please at check-in time, without the hassle of keys!

Check-out (11am unless otherwise discussed): Checkout list is provided online and also on the kitchen counter on arrival.

We were in town for a football game, with my family and a group of friends. The house was perfect for multiple single men and one small family to have space, bedrooms and bathrooms. The hosts were great with communication and very responsive when we needed a few items that the cleaning crew forgot to leave. It was too hot for us to spend much time outside, but the pool table, ping pong table and dart board were favorites. My one suggestion would be to ask the hosts to turn on the AC in the garage before you get there (for ping pong and pool), because it takes a while for it to cool down. It really was a great space for a weekend of football and quite close to campus. We will definitely book this again!

Josh & Merinda's house was wonderful! As soon as we walked in, we knew it would be a great stay. The house was super clean and organized. Photos online were exactly like the house. It had plenty of kitchen items so we could cook and entertain. All the "toys" were also a hit with our group. Everyone had something to entertain themselves. A/C worked great in this awful Texas heat. We would definitely stay there again. The location right behind HEB in Bryan was also great. It's not too far from campus and/or northgate. The only drawback to me was that there was only one television. I think a tv in one of the gamerooms would be a great addition. I couldn't ask for a more considerate host. We had some personal things come up (not the house) and Josh & Merinda were able to accommodate our requests. They were easy to reach and super nice.

With two master suites for each set of parents, and plenty of beds and rooms for the kids it was perfect. Josh and Merinda were very communicative the whole weekend. They were quick to respond with any questions I might have had and were able to help with an early check in so we can get to our soccer games on time. We would definitely recommend this place and if we come back for another tournament we will try and stay again if it’s not booked already.

We rented this home for 2 nights to celebrate my daughter's graduation from A&M. We had 6 people sleep at the home and had beds to spare. We had a family and friends celebration (with the host's permission) and the home had everything we needed. The game room kept guests busy playing pool and ping pong, the front room has foosball and darts and the kitchen was perfect for setting up a fajita bar on the beautiful island. The house was super clean, even more attractive in person than in the photos, and had everything you could think of, including spare toiletries in the bathrooms (including feminine products which is such a thoughtful add). My favorite thing was the 2-ply toilet paper…LOL. So many vacation rentals use 1-ply and it’s a pet peeve of mine. I highly recommend this home. We stay in vacation rentals often and this was absolutely one of my favorite. The hosts were accommodating to our requests, always responded promptly and left a nice welcoming gift for us upon arrival.

The space was beautiful with plenty of space for our family gathering. We had a fantastic time surprising my mother in law with all of her kids and grandbabies together for a long weekend. The house had lots of fun things for the adults to do (ping pong was definitely the fav) and the house was fairly baby proof for our 1, 2, and 4 year olds! They loved the trampoline! The hosts were very helpful and responsive when we had an issue with the internet and came right over to make sure the issue was resolved. While the space worked just fine for our wheelchair bound father, entrance into the home was a bit challenging with the motorized wheelchair but again the hosts were quick to come over and make sure we had a solution that worked! Great place, great hosts, lots of fun activities in the home/yard for all ages!

My family and I truly enjoyed our stay. It was a perfect location to celebrate our daughters birthday. Their are tons of indoor activities to enjoy playing pool, darts, table tennis, etc. We also enjoyed sitting by the outdoor firepit relaxing and enjoying family time. We will be back for sure. We stayed for our daughters wedding. The house was well laid out for large groups. There was so much to do while there. Everyone enjoyed the ping pong, pool table, trampoline, and many more games. It is conveniently located with a grocery store close by. It would be a great place to stay for game weekend. The owners were very friendly, helpful and accommodating. We will absolutely stay there again the next time we visit college station.

We had the most fantastic weekend with our family under one roof, which was such a gift! Our family was able to celebrate our oldest graduating from Mom's alma mater with a masters in Civil Engineering. This property is charming and kept everyone entertained from the oldest (79) to the youngest (3 months). We laughed until we cried, ate until we about popped, and told lots of ghost stories until we couldn't sleep, these memories will last forever - Thank You for all the details put into our stay!

The owners communicated quickly with us from the beginning. They were kind and easy to work with when our travel plans needed to be adjusted. The house and yard are clean, comfy, beautiful and had so many great activities for oir family with 3 generations and disabilities. The neighborhood feels safe, and was very convenient to major Bryan and College Station locations, A&M campus, and Hwy 6. Would highly recommend and would stay here again.

Spacious, open, warm, very nice amentites, updated kitchen, baths, etc...Not ideal if you prefer/need group TV watching spot, as there is no TV in a central room. However, that is the sole consideration for not renting this location, if you are a TV lover.Downtown Bryan very close, neighborhood quiet. I would 100% rent this location again.
