No breakfast supplied?
Location excellent
Having rooms next to each other would have been great (or at least on the same floow)

Loved the location. Loved it was able to have all 6 of us stay together. It had all we needed.
A bit strange that the two ensuite bedrooms didn't have full walls to the living area.

There was no breakfast.I loved how clean the room was . I loved the washer/dryer.
My room had no AC for the last three days. I was told in the chat box to open my window and that they would bring me a fan. Opening the window at my age was very hard to do, plus, the noise from the street made that option unacceptable. I have asthma , and a fan makes my condition worse. The air in the hallway was pleasant and cool, while in the apartment, it was stuffy and uncomfortable. This made my stay less than desirable.

The flat was a good size, well equipped and in a good location. it is comfortable and pleasant. We felt very well during our stay in Chicago.
The day of check in we arrived around 9pm and asked her if she could tell us where to eat nearby and she said she didn't know of any places.
Another day, when we returned to the flat in the evening, she was at the Taco Well next door.
We asked her a few questions during our stay but at no time was she friendly or empathetic.

Style, location. Value for money.
Super comfy beds!!!
The en-suite shower head was broken. The tv and sofa are a little too close but we didn’t stay in much so it wasn’t an issue.

open wall and the bathroom couldnt lock

Good location in terms of proximity to tourist attractions. Clean room and easy access to get into the building and room.
Noisy with trains and city life and there was a group of people lingering one block over which made walking home in the dark feel a bit unsafe.

This property has 4 bedrooms and 3 baths. Two of the four bedrooms have their own bathrooms.
The quality of the rooms, all of which have small beds (no queen size beds), all doors make squeaking sounds. The ACs in two of the four bedrooms, and in the living/kitchen room area, did not work (even the fan did not work). The facilities crew delivered two electric fans to us after we complained), which helped a little. The entire apartment look like a low-quality condo. Also, the location of the apartment is not in the safest area of Chicago. It gives me pause walking around it in the evening (especially on Van Buren street).

The apartment was fantastic! Spacious and very comfortable.
The rooftop was locked for a lot of our visit.
The intersection at the end of the street had to be avoided after dark, even with the police presence.

The location.
The doors were sticky. Some of them did not close properly.

location
very small rooms beds too small for 2 adults and this is an air b&b no staff apartment in a block of student accommodation
2.5 / 5.0
Pros: located in downtown, close to everything: tourist attractions, bars, restaurants, subway etc; nice and spacious apartment
Cons: very noisy, basically you can hear almost every noise from the street; moreover,at the corner of the building is an elevated train line…I asked to change the room, but they said the hotel is fully booked. However,I talked with other people who were in the hotel and they also complained about the traffic noise.
I don’t recommend this Sonder and I wouldn’t stay here again.

Loved the vibe of the older building and the location in downtown Chicago. Great price for our four-bedroom suite. Nice lobby area and ping pong table on top floor. It was fantastic.

Trying to master the door locking was a bit frustrating

Location, equipment, comfort, ease of check-in and check-out, space, value for money, provision of toiletries and basic supplies to get going, got instant and friendly replies to my questions via chat on the app
The blackout did not quite black out the lights at night in the main bedroom. A bit noisy (trains, ambulances or fire engines), but then it is a big city!

location is excellent
bed is so small. I wish if their was less decoration items as the room is so small already

location was the best part!
The rooms have no privacy. The pictures are misleading. The lobby was not usable. We only had one TV in a three bedroom apartment.

location and space
no staff on site…All you get is virtual staff on the app and if you need something urgent you have to text or call and no immediate help is available on site.
we rented a 4 bedroom apartment and from first night 3 heating units went down and despite repeated chats and requests none was fixed during my 5 nights stay. I was provided with additional heater and blankets only. I requested additional heaters as I have 5 kids with me but none was delivered
this is seriously unacceptable during Chicago freezing winter
just to be fair.. they credited my account with 75$ for the inconvenience!!

Security individual could have been more helpful, elderly relative travelling with us, had difficulty using code entry, and was eventually assisted by other guests rather than security individual whom was inside

Overall, a very good option, like a little department, well equipped.
However, the location of the room was relatively noisy because of the street (maybe better in higher floors mine was second).

The location was very close to many attractions we wanted to experience in Chicago. As a family with older children, we felt very safe. I would be more cautious to recommend the are for a single person or a group of younger people or inexperienced travelers.
There was not anything I didn't like.

Great location, easy to access.
All rooms were freezing and extremely loud. In the week that I spent at Sonder, I had, on average, 3 hours of sleep a day due to other apartments having parties, constant police sirens right under the apartment's windows, and the fact that the apartment is very close to the train station. If you want a night of sleep, don't stay in a room below the 10th floor.

excellent location within walking distance to many sights. Well-stocked with toilet paper, dishwashing liquid, salt, oil, etc. - as a family of five we didn’t need to buy any basics during our 5-day stay. would definitely stay again!
- It wasn’t sparkling clean with food residue from the last guest, but this wasn’t a major issue as we just cleaned it up.
- The dryer was so loud that we ended up air drying the clothes we washed, which also did not present a major problem.

Wonderful facility with the convenience of a full kitchen and a separate living room. Great location in the Loop and walking distance to the river and the lake. Can't beat the value.
Unfortunately the key pad at the room didn't accept the code when I arrived and one time the key pad at the building entry wasn't functioning
