Small but comfortable room; ideal location
5.0 / 10.0

Acogedor, barrio tranquilo y bien comunicado
Mucho frío en la habitación
10.0 / 10.0
Die Lage ist ein bisschen außerhalb von Boston, direkt an einer U-Bahnstation. So konnte man ohne Auto alles gut erreichen.
Die Zimmer waren sehr geschmackvoll eingerichtet, besonders auch das Bad.
Das Bett hätte ein bisschen breiter sein können, aber sonst alles super

It was very convenient to everything. The staff was great, the building hip and inviting. The room was well appointed and the bed VERY comfortable. Would highly recommend 1868.

The location is perfect and there was no need to take Uber or Lyft to Harvard University. If you need something closer and at the heart of Boston, this is the hotel to book,
The room is too small for the amount of money paid. There was no microwave, no fridge, no amenities in the room. I will not recommend this hotel to anyone looking for a larger space.

Perfect location across from the metro.
Many dining options nearby.
Bathroom stocked w quality toiletries.
No place to hang clothing. Just a few hooks

The room was spacious, they had very timely valet service, and it was right in the middle of where we wanted to be.
it was not the property’s fault that the weekend we stayed it ended up being -35 with windchill, but it did effect our stay as the heat in the building simply could not keep up with how cold it was outside. That was, however, out of their hands.

Room very nice & spotless. Bed comfortable & amazing pillows

excellent location, very affordable given other hotels in the Boston area.
there is no door on the bathroom shower, and it is impossible not to get water everywhere in the bathroom after a shower.

The hotel is beautifully furnished and everything was spotless. The staff were always very friendly and helpful. We had breakfast next door at Cafe nero and it was excellent. We are booked to return again in May. This is the place to stay when visiting Harvard.
Loved everything!

excellent location near the metro station and an area full of shops and restaurants. The hotel is within a 20-minute walking distance of Harvard Square. The bathroom was comfortable and very functional (large shower).
the room didn't have a wardrobe and the desk was very small with a stool instead of a chair. Also missing a place to keep the suitcase.

location
shabby, dirty (the elevator was disgusting) and it was not value for money in our opinion. breakfast was an old bagel and lucky charms. it was gross

very modern
rooms are extremely small. barely had space for my luggage

The location is great, right across from the Porter train station- easy access from the airport. There are a number of restaurants and bars within walking distance of the hotel as well. The room was very nice and good sized- comfortable for two people. The room faced the street but was not too noisy- the rooms on the back side are certainly even quieter. The bathroom was very nice and large. The property overall appears well-maintained, clean, and attractive.
There is no closet, just wall hooks with hangers. There really wasn't anywhere like a table, desktop, or luggage rack to sit your suitcases on (carry-ons in our case). The shower floor is very slippery.

Everything!!! Beautiful hotel fantastic staff, from the second we checked in till we left it was bliss ... quite well decorated rooms beautiful bathrooms too shower was fab! So many pretty touches in the room including a dimmer switch for the lighting
Coffee machine in the room didnt work wasn't a real issue as there's a gorgeous coffee shop next door if I'd one gripe it's that the room was a bit on the small side but thats literally me being extra picky

didn’t offer breakfast. Was a bit expensive.
8.0 / 10.0
Smallish room but clean, quiet, and with all necessities. Very close to the Porter Square T stop, and a 20-minute walk to Harvard Square, so a good location. Staff very friendly.
My only complaints are that there isn't even a continental breakfast and, because they don't service the rooms every day, once you use the coffee/tea maker in your room once, you are kind of out of luck for following days. Probably I could have asked at the front desk for more, but I didn't think of it. Also, the hotel is pretty expensive, though for Cambridge probably not excessively so.

It was just what I needed, and the bed was very comfortable.
