accueil et aimabilité de notre hôte, à l'écoute pour nous donner de nombreux renseignements sur la ville de Boston et alentours.
Station de métro proche de l'hébergement.

The staff were incredibly friendly and location was awesome! The building is walking distance to a lot of great eateries. You can not beat the location and price, plus free parking! Christina was so lovely and a wonderful host!

Very friendly stuff. Free parking.
We had ants and insect in room. Our toilet was broken, but owner fixed it. In room was very hot.

Location was great. Room with a king size bed was very comfortable and clean and had a clean private bath. The area was very quiet. Hosts were very nice and friendly, helpful and accommodating.

Location was perfect. Breakfast was okay, limited choices. Coffee was very good.
I would have rearranged the room so that there were nightstands on each side of the bed. Not a huge deal, just would have been nice.

The room was large and comfortable, the B&B is set in a great location close to the subway, bars and restaurants but still in a quiet street. The breakfast was delicious, and the owners were really kind and helpful.

great location, good breakfast, genial host, very clean
the bed mattress was a bit soft but not bad.

The host was very nice and welcoming. The location is perfect, a very nice neighbourhood with family houses and many restaurants. Free parking directly on site which was very convenient. Public transport to the city center very close, so you´re in the city in about 20 minutes. What we absolutely disliked was the brown spider webs on the ceiling (showing they are there for a long time) and a lot of someone else`s hair on the bedding and blankets on the bed. It was not properly cleaned and we didn´t think it was cozy or relaxing at all because of that.

The location was great. It was easy to get to the train and came with free parking. Driving in the city didn't appeal to us so being able to leave the car in a safe spot for our trip was essential. The breakfast was nice and room was comfortable.
The pillows were a little flat. It also would have been nice to have a fan in the room to help move the air when there was no breeze outside.

The Bowers House Bed and Breakfast was a nice place to stay for the few days we were there. The continental breakfast was varied and plentiful, location was perfect for us, and we appreciated the free parking. The proprietors were friendly and provided us with some sightseeing tips.
The bed felt small and the room was a bit crowded with all of our suitcases.

Located on a quiet side street in a fun neighborhood with plenty if restaurants, very close to the subway, easy parking, comfy bed, clean and comfy room, smooth check-in, friendly chatty hosts.

Steven and Christina were wonderful hosts and gave us valuable information about what to see and how to get there. Bowers House is only a very short walk to the T station and 20-30 minutes to Boston Common. We were very happy that we chose not to stay in the city and deal with a car. Bowers house is very clean, has a great shower and a comfortable bed. The common ares are comfortable and cozy and well stocked with food and coffee. We stayed there three nights and We definately recommend the Bowers House as a clean, comfortable and convenient place to stay when visiting Boston.

The hosts were fabulous. The location great.

Communication from the staff was thorough and helpful, which enabled me to arrive after hours, enter the room, and use guest parking with no problems. The owners recommended very good restaurants and shops in the area and were quite friendly. The location is excellent and 24 hour kitchen facilities were very helpful to have. I really hope to stay there next time I'm in Boston.
The a/c is a bit noisy which is fine if you like a bit of white noise as I do, but it might not suit all travelers in hot weather. The free wifi worked fine but is not a secure network so I'd recommend a pocket wifi for more security if desired.

I strongly recommend you select it. It just like a home.

The hosts were very helpful and friendly. The kitchen was clean---coffee and tea were available all day. The bathroom was a good size, modern and clean. The sitting room was a comfortable place to read at the end of a long day of sightseeing.
I was expecting a bit more for breakfast than what you get at a cheap hotel---packaged grocery store items (cereal, croissants, bread, etc...) and apples/oranges. The bedroom was fine however, my back was sore from the mattress each morning.

Owner was very helpful. I needed to have a package shipped ahead of our arrival and they were very accommodating. Owner was very welcoming and explained all we needed to know about going into the city. The T is a short walk from the house and was easy to use. There are several good restaurants close by the house as well. Breakfast is continental style and was fine.

The facility was comfortable and very clean which made me feel at home. The host Christina was so nice and breakfast was great.
The AC was noisy and the bathroom was not directly attached to the room.

The location was perfect, and the hosts were really friendly. The house is on a quiet residential street with easy on-street parking, and at the same time, a 30-second walk into the middle of Davis Square, which has tons of bars and restaurants. The red line train station is also just another couple minutes' walk, which gave really convenient access to the rest of Cambridge/Somerville/Boston. (Somerville is its own city; if you're looking to stay in Boston proper, it's a train- or uber-ride away.) It's clearly a house - not a hotel, but the reasonable price reflects this and our room had everything we needed (air-conditioned, private bathroom - just a standing shower but great water pressure).
New pillows would be an easy and welcome upgrade, and the queen bed wasn't super comfortable, but everything was clean, with plenty of pillows/blankets/towels.

Such warm and welcoming hosts, sparkling clean room and bathroom, and above and beyond service.

loved the quietness of the location as well as the convenience to Davis Square. Easy to access the red line as well as convenient walk to our son’s apartment.
nothing I can think of.

It was really well furnished with a good sized room, ample breakfast stuff available and very lovely hosts!
The only thing I can think of is that the air conditioning units in the rooms are very noisy, but that was only minor.

Very friendly hosts. Comfortable stay. Large bathroom. Great location
Breakfast was more basic. Bed was a bit uncomfortable and the actual room small.
4.0 / 5.0
It was convenient, especially with jetlag that caused me to wake up very early, to have free access to the kitchen 24/7. Not all breakfast items served during bf. hours were there during the night, but enough to be able to feel better, food-wise.
Also good is the keypad entrance, so that you can arrive at all hours.
The room was fairly basic, but very good within that limitation. What could have improved my experience would be a desk lamp. The breakfast offering is OK, but limited to orange juice, cereals, coffee, bread/bagel, cream cheese. I did not ask for things like grapefruit juice or other cheese(s): maybe the hosts would have provided them.
4.5 / 5.0
Convenient, quiet; nice hosts; good breakfast
could use a little updating
