I could only use this property again if I slept on the sofa bed downstairs.

Wonderfully converted accommodation with attention to detail in the furnishings and decor. Well equipped for a short stay. Very clean.

For an elderly lady with some mobility issues this was a challenging property to access. There were too many steps and stairs inside and outside. There were no handrails for steps outside and inside the main front door. Immediately behind the main door it was quite scruffy and there were some rather worrying wires on either side of the stairs. I think this area needs some attention as it does not match the quality of the apartment. I had issues parking as I was returning to the property in the dark and there was very little space left in the side street which is recommended.

A great place to relax and unwind.

Gorgeous space, well-equipped, lovely host with great communication, and perfect location for setting off and exploring from. The bed was very comfortable and we both slept really well. We were only there for one night but it's definitely a space that works well for a couple or single person for a longer stay.

Exceptional

The whole place is fantastic, from when you first walk in, the originality is still there. Really comfy beds and sofa. Awesome layout l.

No parking, but not a massive issue as can park on the street next to it or on road outside, but is a main road so could get really busy.

We decided to stay elsewhere and would not recommend the property.

I am sure the apartment was in a great condition when the pictures were taken. The hosts kindly offered an alternative better apartment, so would not provide a refund when this was refused.

The apartment needs some maintenance and updating. There were a number of issues on arrivial (old cobwebs, a broken tap, mould in the bathroom & peeling wallpaper probably due to the radiator not working, light bulbs missing, no way to close the bathroom door from one side, old linen, etc.) which left us very uncomfortable, plus made us wonder about the other things we couldn't see. For the cost per night (£135), we expected much better and were told the issues could have been repaired within an hour. This was a poor excuse given none of the issues were new and the hosts would have been aware of them prior to our arrival. We were told other guests rated the apartment a 10, well clearly our standards and expectations are higher.

Fantastic stay, highly recommended

Everything - the service, the space, the decor, the cleanliness, the clarity of the instructions for entry, communication between us and the host - it was just fantastic. We had a lovely evening and our kids absolutely loved it. They were so excited that we had the apartment with all the space but were also in the same room. We would absolutely stay again. Regarding the photos I actually think the reality surpassed our expectations the pictures. We had plenty of space with privacy too. Thank you so much!

Everything was wonderful. The only slightest critique would be that it was very warm in the apartment at times - however we had five of us staying in the apartment and heat rises so I really don't think it was unreasonable to be a bit warm!

Stylish apartment

Tastefully decorated, warm & comfortable. Well equipped kitchen. Host left complimentary biscuits which was a nice gesture. Location is very good, there is a Co Op nearby as well as a bakery, chemist, pharmacy, pubs and takeaway restaurants.

Great apartment

The apartment is excellent, comfortable and everything that you could need , would highly recommend.

Only 1 problem, bathroom door 🚪, fitting to keep it in runner missing .

Great stay for work

Property is well equipped with cooking and cleaning facilities. Always a huge bonus when working away making cooking, washing dishes and washing clothes easy.

Back door in toilet is letting in a draft. Rectifying will help your heating bills.

Unique and comfortable apartment

Comfortable, warm and tastefully furnished, it was an ideal base for us. There is a Co-OP nearby, a bakery, chemist, couple of coffee shops and an Indian restaurant, everything you might need within walking distance.
