Lovely place to stay. Cons: TP in master bathroom not flushed. Wet towels still in dryer at check in (Clean towels were available in all bathrooms). Many ants in the area. Tiny and stings a bit. Be careful on the Master bathroom toilet bowl. Constantly on there. If not wiped off prior to using, can get a little sting in the privates (not painful).
HOWEVER, this should not detract you from renting this property. The location, layout of the home and the outdoor space is absolutely wonderful. I would rent again without hesitation, if I were to be in the area again.

Overall the rental was decent. The water front view was amazing! The back patio and view was beautiful! The house was very comfortable and provided everything needed. There were a few issues with ants but nothing major as long as food wasn’t left out or dishes left in the sink.

Had a great stay with 7 other friends at this beautiful house on the water. The living room and two bedrooms out of 4 have a beautiful view of the keys. The house was clean and well supplied. The only downside is that I wish there were wine glasses in the cupboards. We only found two. Maybe it was to deter people from partying in the house, not sure. There’s also wasn’t any dishwasher soap pods and the smaller bedroom could use some better decor but none of these things would stop me from renting again. The house is that beautiful! Our stay was short and we were disappointed that we couldn’t enjoy the outdoor patio with fireplace, private beach and bbq. Everything looked so relaxing. We would definitely stay again. Thanks for sharing your home!

Overall, this was a lovely property. Plenty of space for our group of eight. Kitchen was reasonably well-stocked although it didn’t seem to include a wine opener. The dishwasher door is dented, so the lower rack constantly falls off the track when you pull it out to load dishes, and we tried to just load without pulling the rack out.
There are signs all over the house warning that gatherings of any kind are prohibited and there are security cameras on the back patio. Violation of that rule is apparently grounds for immediate removal from the property. It was a little off-putting, as we felt discouraged from even having our two local family members over to join us for dinner, since we didn’t want to lose our rental. Perhaps some clarification as to what a “gathering” means might be helpful for future renters.

Beautiful view and outdoor patio but....
The location was good. 15 minute drive to the ferry to San Fran. The owner should put some effort on not updating. Rugs are stained. Had to sweep the patio when we arrived. Garbage was full and stinky. Although we complained no one addressed the issue. Doors broken or missing. Although clean when we arrived it has been neglected. Really needs a deep cleaning inside and out. Yet the place was beautiful in the 80s. Needs to be brought into the 2020 era.

Not good!
The property was dirty and unkept. Carpet was stained, one bedroom was not habitable. A folding chair and very old mattress only content of room. We did not use this room. An outside storage area that looked like a junkyard. The yard water system was under repair piles of dirt and exposed pipes on walkways to lake. Trash can not emptied full of rotting food. Falsely portrayed on website. We spent first 4 hours cleaning inside and out. Location was fine, the only positive about stay. Very disappointed.

Property was great! Waterfront was beautiful, close drive to San Fran, very accommodating. We had an amazing end to our week long coastal trip!
Few minor home maintenance issues; kitchen sink was leaking (we emptied the full overflowing bowl that was full under there & tightened it up & avoided using the left side) , canoe had a hole In it (we plugged it), few broken lights/lamps or stitches that didn’t work, could use a deep spring cleaning indoors & out.

The house is in a great location. However when we arrived it was not very clean and the home is in need of maintenance. there was an ignored water leak that left the carpet in the hallway wet and a huge stain. about 1/3 of the lights In the house do not work and they did not provide enough towels for the number of people in our party. Upon arrival I immediately contacted the property manager to inform them of the big stain in the carpet, only to find out later it was from a water leak. once I discovered the leak I had to email the manager twice to get them to escalate the issue and get someone out to repair the problem. very unhappy with this property would not recommend.

The outside of this home - and the décor inside - are beautiful. It was fairly clean. There were a few issues (not enough towels, no rug to step out onto in one bathroom; large stain on rug outside of laundry closet; about 25 open bottles of condiments etc in the fridge doors, so no room for ours). There is no closet nor any storage furniture like a bureau or chest of drawers in the double bed bedroom.

The bedroom our baby was sleeping in smelled like vomit, which we didn't realize until we closed the windows later in the evening. It was unbearable and we didn't stay in it for the rest of the weekend. The host was not helpful regarding this matter, and it seems like the cleaning staff must have been aware since we arrived the window to that room was open and there was a bottle a Febreeze. Also, many of the lights didn't work and the overall condition wasn't great.

This is a beautiful spot, but I had to take off a star for cleanliness and customer service. The master suite is gorgeous, with a great view. Other bedrooms are small but functional. The house itself was ver clean. However when we arrived the sand pit area was full of empty beer bottles and cigarette butts which we had to spend some time cleaning up, and even then I wasn't comfortable letting my baby crawl in it for fear of more butts and who knows what else. So that was a bit of a bummer. Also the property manager didn't apologize for this after I told them about it, instead just saying "Thank you for your feedback. We will pass that along to our cleaning staff." Also I left my tripod there and they wanted to charge me to drive it to my friend's house who lives 8 minutes from the house. My family runs a vacation stay business and so I guess I'm harder on them than a normal person would be, but we would have apologized to our guests profusely for all the beer bottles and cigarette butts, and would have driven a few minutes to deliver a left-behind item free of charge. Those things seem like common courtesy to me. So they were "very professional", where professional=impersonal. Aside from that, great spot.

My family was in the area for our son's graduation and this house exceeded our expectations. We brought paddle boards with us and paddles the keys every day we were there. We used the fabulous BBQ to host a celebration dinner for our family and the kitchen was well equipped. Plenty of room and comfortable sleeping. Beautiful patio to enjoy from sunrise to sunset. I didn't want to leave and told my friends, "I live here now". Thank you for a wonderful stay and a brilliant place to celebrate our son's achievement. Hope to be back!

This place is amazing! It's huge, immaculate, inviting and very well stocked with amenities. Each room was so cozy and the bathrooms, in particular, were really well done...bright, clean, well though out spacing etc. The host and his team was very efficient. We hosted our families and this house was the perfect size. The photos accurately depict the property. It was private & quiet with beautiful views. The home is beautiful but the kitchen was dirty (stained pans, dirty baking dishes, no sponge or basics available for BBQ such as Alluminum Foil. Dishes and utensils were so dirty we bought everything plastic the next day) and the sink was clogged. The 1st floor bedspread and shades were broken. Master bedroom was the only well kept room. Worst of all we had trouble getting into the house because the homeowner gave us the wrong code. It took us 1 hr to get in touch with customer service to retrieve correct Pink. This lock box system I thought was not such an easy process it could have been if they got the one thing right which was to give us the right code.

The house and property are gorgeous. It was the perfect place for quiet family time. There was one minor issue, but Jason handled it quickly and like a pro :)

We had a great time at this home in Novato! Beautiful location, large home with lots of room for our group, which included extended family-elderly and young kids! The host was great, quickly replying to my messages and questions as I am a first time vacation renter. The place was very nicely renovated and decorated, with a clean look all about. The views overlooking the water from t eh living room and the upstairs master bedroom were really great, even with a skylight in MBR looking up at its own very tall palm tree in the back yard. Full kitchen with updated appliances. NEST heat control system, 2 fireplaces, especially nice to have the one in MBR! All other 3 BDRMs on the main level, which were nice too, which one had its own bath and the other had the shared one next to kitchen and stairs. This is definitely a great spot for a getaway for families etc, especially if you like to use back yard patio with fireplace and grill and refridgerator and overhead heater on cooler nights/days! Nice newer dock, great to sit on and relax too! Its also in a quiet nieghborhood, and only a short drive to the main road. Thanks again, Jason!
