Location
Check in contact/ process not clear and could be mistaken to being at wrong address as accommodation is at back entrance
3.3
Clean bedroom
Clean bathroom
Tv worked
Security
Outside area needed clearing of rubbish, it would make it more appealing
3.3
It was warm. TV had decent size
No signage at all, had to go through a littered back passage and a fire escape to get to room. People smoking spliffs next door, bathroom smelled damp and moldy, toilet had lots of stains, bed very uncomfortable with thin and hard mattress.
3.3
Room and ensuite spacious and spotlessly clean.
Good shower. Towels, soap etc all provided. Nice and warm (stayed in January)
Ideal location for Mill Road / station. Very good price. Access to spotlessly clean kitchen area.
Other residents (rooms below) coming in and out of their rooms, and talking, all night. Moderately rather than very loud so might not bother everyone / earplugs would have helped. Neither fridge in room or kitchen was on to store cold food. Access to room (top floor) very narrow and steep. Appearance of the rest of the property other than room and kitchen a little "shabby" but room and kitchen very clean and well presented

The location is good - pretty central and close to many good restaurants and bars.
I was only meant to stay in this property one night, to attend a work event, but ended up taking a £160 taxi home to another city in order to avoid staying here. When I arrived to check in (an hour after the hotel's stated check-in time), the room had still not been cleaned. The instructions to access the property were unclear, and therefore was difficult to access, resulting in me being locked out at 11pm. When I finally arrived in the room after my work event to sleep, there were not even covers on the pillows. The price for one night was cheap (£77), but I would expect bedding at a minimum, no matter the price. I did not feel comfortable staying, and would not recommend that anyone else stay here either.

Location is great, quiet, private room.
Were not enough towels for 2 people
3.3
Comfortable and spacious room in a great location (about 10-15 mins from the centre).

Was overpriced for what we received. It was a place to sleep though. Looking back I would have rather paid more to go to a hotel with better standards.
One towel between two people. Why? No microwave in kitchen. Heated food with pans, but they were all dirty. Coffee was old and all stuck together, so not suitable for consumption. Why not get some sachets of coffee!? So much light coming in from downstairs, it was impossible to block out. Needs to have a few things sorted out before they charge so much for one night.
3.3
Friendly staff and modern comfortable room
All good

We booked the Queen suite The room was spacious and clean, the barbarom as well. Eqquiped with hangers, closet and a TV.
The back entrance was quite dirty, but honestly we did not mind it.

The location was perfect
There was nothing not to like

Spacious and private, wi-fi and a TV is always a good facility to have when working away ! Clear communication with the host.
3.3
Cheerful staff.
Comfy bed and clean room.
No tea and coffee making facilities.
Light didn't work in bathroom.
Limited channels on TV.
Access via dingy back alley.
3.3
The staff was pleasant and even though there was a language issue, communication was smooth. Rooms were clean.its very close to Central park and bus stops.
Availability of food options nearby was there.
3.3
Convenient to city centre
Nothing

very confusing to access and really horrible approach down a dark alleyway

The owner was great and very friendly, showed me around and explained everything. There’s a kitchen guests can use which came in very handy. Great value for money, definitely we’ll be back

The staff were friendly and welcoming and helped us with the bags as there were two sets of stairs to our room. There were kitchen facilities if we wanted to use as well as a fridge and a bathroom with stand-in shower (which I prefer) and the water was instantly hot. The room was quiet too, as it’s at the back of the building, you don’t have hear traffic from the main road.
3.3
it was comfy, we had everything we needed, good value for money.
3.3
There was a kitchen with fridge cooker toaster etc, which we were allowed to use. We didn't make breakfast as we ate in the city, but we will next time.
It was well equipped and very clean.
I can't think of anything that would improve the place. It was nice and quiet, even though it looked out on mill road, which is a busy road.
3.3
There were no check in instructions - property is actually off a back laneway with code access (which I eventually found out after contacting the property several times). The room and bathroom were not clean. The linen was still wet from washing to the extent one of us had to sleep under coats instead of the doona. Only one towel was provided for 3 people. The door was unable to be looked from the inside.

This was a fantastic place to stay! The owners were super relaxed and friendly, and the room very warm and cosy - especially nice to arrive to on a cold winter night. The bed is also extremely comfortable and has soft fluffy blankets. Towels, fresh water, a hairdryer even a fridge are provided. We can also recommend eating at the restaurant below, which has delicious food and an equally relaxed atmosphere.
The fridge was very convenient to have, as we had food to store, but was also very noisy and somewhat disturbing at night. On the second night we unplugged it for a few hours but I guess this isn't sustainable for someone staying for a long time. Other than that, everything was perfect!
