TropicVues maintains a tropical feel with ceiling fans, screened windows and is fully tiled throughout. The apartment sleeps up to 6 guests in air-conditioned comfort using existing bedding All rooms have king beds and 1 room can be split into 2 king singles
Portacot (please bring own linen) and high chair available for use
Linen,bath,pool towels,hair dryer, shampoo/cond and body wash supplied
Apartment features a laundry station with wash/dry facilities - wash powder supplied.
The open plan style of the house extends out to huge deck to enjoy tropical dining and relaxing.
TropicVues is fully fenced with maintained tropical garden and resort style plunge pool with island and coloured lighting for night swimming. - suitable for young children
TropicVues is not pet friendly

Bookings will be considered to only 25+ responsible adults
Book elsewhere if you are looking for a place "to party" as this property will not suit you, nor does it suit hens and bucks. NON SMOKING PROPERTY - smokers will need to exit the property and dispose of cigarette butts thoughtfully.

Guest access is via secure gate at side of property. Guests have sole use of the downstairs apartment and undercover outdoor deck area. Upstairs apartment is holiday leased and may or not be rented during your stay. Pool area is shared by both apartments. No glass or bottles to be taken into pool area.

Entire house is available to holiday rent and can sleep up to 10guests with total of 8 beds, please enquire with your interest for price and availability.

Friendly owner lives next door and in most cases will provide meet and greet service and mobile number to be on hand for assistance and advice if needed during your stay. However we have upmost respect for your privacy during your stay.

Parramatta Park is one of the closest suburbs to Cairns City - within easy walking distance to the Esplanade, which is a scenic promenade that stretches for 2.5km and includes a swimming lagoon, waterfront boardwalks, BBQ areas and a children's water park. The Southern end of the 'Espy' comprises of cafes and restaurant's, clubs and bars, shopping plazas, entertainment centre, casino and reef terminal.

TropicVues is located 5.8kms - 10 mins drive from Cairns International Airport and 1.5kms - 25 mins walk to Cairns Esplanade
Cairns Central Shopping Centre is 1.4kms - 15 mins walk this is for grocery shopping (Coles supermarket) but convenience, liquor store and great Thai takeaway are closer.
Bus service to city is from Sheridan Street (2 stops) and Northern Beaches an easy 10 min walk to Sheridan Street.
TropicVues is centrally located to all tourist attractions in City Centre, Reef terminal, Tropical Tafe and Cairns Hospital.
Uber operates in Cairns and is cheapest form of travel approx $15 from airport and $6-8 to city
Taxi fare approx $25 from airport and $15 to/from city centre

No hens/bucks nights, parties or events and noise to be kept to minimum outside especially at night in respect to all neighbours. Council laws apply to noise restrictions.

Property is beautiful and the host is super helpful, friendly, and responsive. I texted about the water not seeming quite as warm and with 5 hours, before we even returned from our days activities, she texted to let us know it had been fixed. Would 100% stay again. Thanks for having us!

We were greeted by Dee who was very friendly. After showing us around we had a chat and she gave us a lot of information about the tours and places to go. The house was beautifully presented and had everything we would need. It was about a 30 minute walk into the centre which we enjoyed each day. Plenty of taxis if we didn’t want w/o walk back. Would definitely recommend staying here. Dee and Paddy were great hosts

The host was warm, professional and communication was brilliant. This place a fantastic place to stay, it was comfortable, clean and so relaxing, location was excellent to. The house had everything to make your stay comfortable for example hair dryer, coffee, tea, Wi-Fi. The host has thought of everything to make it comfortable I have already recommended to so many others, you will not regret it

We had a wonderful stay to escape winter. Home was perfect for our family of 2 adults and teens. It was clean and well appointed, in a quiet location and the pool was a big hit. Do yourself a favour and take your family here on a summer holiday and escape the cold winter. Hosts were very easy to deal with and are quick to respond to any queries.

It's been an amazing experience staying at Dee's place. Dee has been very welcoming and explained in person all the features of the house and suggested places to visit and book. Kids enjoyed very much at the pool. Place is very neat and tidy. We are lucky to get the place in short notice due to covid cancellations. Thanks once again Dee for hosting us.

This was to be an annual get together of 3 siblings (70s) and their spouses. What with Covid lockdowns, postponement of holiday, health problems ... the owner accommodated each situation as it arose. The whole accommodation and experience exceeded our expectations.

We would like to say thanks Dee and Patrick for a wonderful experience that we have just enjoyed. Once we walked in the door all of our expectations were exceeded, and not by just a little bit, a lot!! The pool, the location, the hosts, the weather, the suburb we cant thank you guys enough, we really did enjoy our stay. Everything we needed was available and nothing was ever a problem. Our family enjoyed a very comfortable extended stay at this amazing home. This property is in the perfect location in Cairns to easily drive to the tourist area(less than 10 minutes) and is a great launchpad to explore the north Queensland area. Upon arrival, we were greeted by Dee, the friendly and knowledgeable owner. While we were not exploring, we enjoyed the amazing home with fabulous indoor/outdoor living with a pool. There was nothing better than enjoying a great dinner or breakfast in the quiet paradise Dee and Patrick have created. If you have a family skip the hotel and stay here, you will be sorry if you don't!!

Dee and Patrick have considered every need of their guests in their beautiful, well appointed home in Cairns. Our family of 5 could not have asked for anything more during our stay! The house is spotlessly clean, very comfortable, and the pool is outstanding! We were so happy in the home we chose to abandon sightseeing and just enjoy our surroundings. Dee and Patrick are incredibly gracious and go to great lengths to ensure their guests have everything they need every moment of their stay. If we could offer more than 5 stars, we would! Tropic Vues is exceptional in every way!

Two friends and myself stayed at Tropic Vues for a 3 night stay. We were welcomed by the owner Patrick on our arrival. He ran us through the house and also told us a few places that do a good meal. The place it's self was home away from home. It has everything you need and more. It was clean and modern. The photos do not do this place any justice it's a wonderful place to kick back and relax! Will be staying again.

We stayed 3 nights at the TropicVues and we really had a great time in this property. Dee is very welcoming and made us feel at home since we arrived. I was travelling with all my family (6 adults) and 2 months old infant Dee was very kind to organise an early check in for us. Also it was very helpful that she explained all the facilities of the property + a few tours that we could do in Cairns. The swimming pool is a bonus: it's very relaxing having a swim after a full day tour or after dinner. We would definitely book again this place if we decide to go again to Cairns. Thanks again Dee for looking after us

The property was lovely and the pool beautiful. our first night there was peaceful and very comfortable beds. After that the rental apartment in the first floor of the house was occupied and the lack of soundproofing meant you could hear them all night long walking around. They did not seem to sleep so we were unsure if it was particularly hot up there..

Great property, very comfortable and relaxing. Everything is as per photos - modern, nice & clean and functions well with lots of little extra's to make your stay perfect. Plenty of space indoors as well as out. Dee & Patrick were very welcoming, answering lots of questions and providing local information for our holiday. Superb location close to the city & esplanade (easy 15 min walk) but far enough away to be quiet & relaxing in a homely neighbourhood. Would stay again and highly recommend. Thanks
