couldn’t stay as the owner cancelled out booking at short notice due to renovations. disappointing as had to quickly find alternative accommodation and we were coming to a navy event from the South Island.

I would have like the host to be more responsive in attending to our queries and concerns. The is very little consideration for the transfer of the accommodation.

Was good, had everything we needed

Position was great for us.
House was dirty. Mattress and pillows was stained. Toilet flooded. Layout was strange as shower room had no door.

Smelt a little damp but with some TLC would be amazing

Host was lovely and very caring
The drive was steep and I couldn't fit my vehicle so it stayed on the road.

Very friendly hosts. Plenty of space.
Unusual house layout.

The location is convenient to Devonport. It had enough beds some brand new some very old.
It the basement of a house not an entire house. It desperately needs a full professional clean and sanitise. The shower is in the hallway between the bedrooms which makes privacy an issue and also the damp. A dehumidifier would be a good addition. It is very cluttered as if you are staying in your Grandma’s basement.

The main bedroom sheets were slept in with hair etc. Had to make up our own bed.
When the upstairs home had people you could hear movement, but not too bad.
Was advertised as entire house, but it's really the ground floor of a house.
Upstairs pipes are really, really loud when taps are used.
4.0
Location was convenient. Off street parking was a positive point. Beds were very comfortable. Radiators for heating available and easy to use and made the areas comfortable. Hot water was plentiful. Property was spacious.
While it could be seen that the owner had spent time getting the unit prepared and clean, the general untidiness made a bad first impression. Many of the basic requirements in hospitality industry were lacking. Beds were not made, the selection of bed linen and towels was varied and cleanliness was questionable.

Fully equipped kitchen made catering for ourselves very easy and convenient.
Good pressure on the shower.
The pillows on the beds we're not very comfortable.

Comfy house , reasonable prices so reasonable facilities
Not very clean , heater not working, dishwasher not working and full of dirty dishes

Key pin given but not lockbox location.Hour search found damaged box-no key,by chance found under a plant pot.Obvious NO cleaning had been done.Wet towels hanging out a window.Bowl of old apples in a cupboard.Fridge, oven & d/washer,kitchen c/boards etc yuk! Pillows brown, streaked with slob stains.pillow stuffing thin looking like cotton balls.Cheap, nasty acrylic linen,no mattress or pillow protectors, urine on mattress.Vaccum cleaner zero suction.Mismatched decor from the 1980s.No welcome pack.Wifi p/word eventually found on side of fridge. No fire detectors.Tripping hazards, curled rug & change in floor levels, risky step down out of shower,1 plastic hook.No showering privacy, the area is open to a side room.Could provide a folding screen or fix a curtain track from the ceiling. No bath mats. Toys for children are on a shelf but unwise to provide these due to cross contamination and choking hazard. The property is mostly overgrown ivy and unkept.Very unfortunate situation as there is unrealised potential to ensure guests are given a healthy stay and not absorbing the previous years guests excretions. Go to seasonal sales and buy quality matching linen and towel etc.Use white vinegar to clean with but please do better and start from 1 to reach a 10 rating.

The location was good for out stay. The cost of accommodation reflected the state of the accommodation.
The pillows were very old and thin. You could hear the host walking above upstairs. It was not wheelchair accessible for toilet or showering- luckily this time i did not need a wheelchair but in the past I have and wheelchair accessible is very important. I feel this needs to be updated on the site.

Location only
Not cleaned when we arrived at 8pm after traveling 4 hrs with 3 young kids. Check in was 2pm and cleaner just started, pulled damp sheets off rack outside and put on beds, dirty dishes in dishwasher, bench not wiped down, floors yuck and sticky, cushion and couch dirty, beds and pillows really uncomfortable, shower box in middle of communal hallway, can hear person upstairs in toilet and walking around, no table or chairs to eat from, definitely not what is advertised. Told there was a key in the lock box by door but was not. Very poor and unclean.
