The second bedroom also has great ocean views, and offers queen and single beds. The living room is furnished with a queen sleeper sofa and 2 chairs and has a granite fireplace surround. The chef's kitchen features granite countertops, stainless appliances, and custom cabinetry. Dishes, cooking utensils, and serving pieces are provided. Tile floors are throughout the condo. The primary bedroom retreat has a walk-in shower and a king size bed. The secondary bath has a tub/shower combination.
Make My Vacation also provides all linens and towels, beach chairs and beach towels. The Living Room TV is provided for your entertainment, as well as free wireless Internet.

We stayed in B101. The overall property was great. Closer to the beach than expected. I was concerned about the street noise but with the provided fan on at night, it didn’t bother me. I did use ear plugs though as some of the cars and motorcycles were very loud. Overall I would say this would be a place I would come back to however, our unit was not very clean. There was a lot of hair in one of the beds. The kitchen sink faucet was broke (property manager fixed within a couple of days). There was a lack of cleanliness throughout the entire unit. The beds were very comfortable. The chairs and couch were not comfortable at all so don’t plan to relax and watch a movie. The unit had everything we needed. Location was close to stairs and had a good view of water.

Very pretty common areas. Quite a bit of landscaping is under construction. Property itself had plenty of room and a good location. Street noise is pretty loud. There's a noticeable smell in the apartment and some things could use repair(kitchen faucet is loose and moves freely during use, screen door doesn't open easily) Overall, a nice stay, could use a little tlc to make it a place I would want to return to.

Everything was wonderful. Checkin went smoothly even though we didn't make until until 1am after a late flight into LAX. Everyone we encountered was very friendly and helpful. The parking space was great and very easy to access from the condo. The condo had everything we needed and great views of the ocean.
The property grounds we beautiful and well maintained. We felt like we were at an all inclusive resort. The pool was a nice size and well maintained just like the hot tub.
We enjoyed the location, it was an easy walk to town, but a little quieter since we weren't right on top of everything. We would stay again and if you're thinking of booking, do it!

We love North Coast Village. This is our 3rd year staying in the complex but the first time with Make My Vacation. Misti is awesome to work with! She was very helpful and super pleasant!In the past we have rented through Airbnb and missed having some of the "extras" like boogie boards, welcome boards and basic necessities (shampoo, soap ect)This unit has an amazing view but is pretty simple in comparision to what we have stayed in before within NCV. Overall, we had an amazing time and would recommend MMV!

Very limited cleaning basic supplies and toilet paper

I specifically chose this unit because of the views and close proximity to the beach. I was traveling to visit family in Oceanside with my 3 children. We arrived later in the evening, picked up the keys and proceeded to the unit. I had an SUV and the parking space was small and next to a column. Parking spaces in general are tight here if you have an SUV, just fyi.
When we arrived, I started to get the kids set up, only to find that the batteries in the tv remote were dead and the unit was cold. I attempted to turn on the fireplace and nothing worked, the remote batteries for this were also dead. Submitted a maintenance request that evening.
While situating the kids in the 2nd bedroom, the bed was against the wall and blocking the heater to the room, I attempted to move the bed away from the wall and the leg fell off of it. After lifting the bed up, I noticed the hole was broken and the keg was never even screwed in and not able to be screwed in. They was no way anyone could even sleep on this bed without it collapsing and I’m amazing the cleaners made the bed this way and said nothing to anyone to fix the leg. I ended up having to have my sister come over to bring batteries for the tv remote and to help lift the bed to remove all of the legs to safely place it on the floor. I started to become disappointed with the unit but that’s not the end of it. In the morning when I went to shower in the master bathroom, the shower floor was covered with dead ants. Disgusting! I am aware ants are common near the beach but dead ants tells me no one had even checked this unit before we checked in and no one had been there in quite some time as the clocks all had the wrong time on them and were never reset after daylight savings MONTHS ago. The slider to the master bedroom balcony had a broken lock and you’re on one floor up from the ground level and several windows had broken locks. There was a mold like substance at the top ceiling of the living room sliding glass door. The cabinets in the kitchen have been refaced and the inside of them looks dark and gross. No Tupperware was provided to store any meals you prepared either. No water filter or Brita was provided. Location was great, the community is awesome and this unit needs to have eyes laid on it and someone to come in and check everything.
As a short term rental owner myself, I would have died inside if I had a guest check into my unit in this condition.

Property was close to my parents house which made it easy to check on her. The pool was nice as well as the designated parking. However the condo was very dated and several things were broken. Could not lock windows because one or both locks were broken. The shower valve in the 2nd bathroom came off in my hand on the first use.
Finally, the noise level was very high. From the train to motorcycles to random yelling. Very hard to have a quite moment. Probably would not stay here again.

The property is very nice. The noise is horrible from the vehicles driving by with music bumping, vehicles doing donuts in the parking lot where the cars are parked across the street, loud exhausts, screeching tires, etc and the train. It was every night.

We’ve been to North Coast Village several years in a row now and this years trip was a bit last minute. The apartment was a great price for a two bedroom. You get a nice large dining table and overal nice looking furniture/aesthetic compared to some very old apartments at the complex. However it’s right on the intersection of the two streets and at night especially weekends (all night) and around 6-8am, you get non stop yelling and screaming from ppl on vacation (or bums) and loud cars and motorcycles revving plus random street cleaners literally before 7am. The thing is it would be ok if you can close windows but ya can’t! Because there’s no window AC or fans or anything so you are dying if you’re windows are closed.
There was one small tower fan and we had it in our room working the whole time we were home. During the day it’s not bad but at night when you just need some peace and quiet, it’s hard to sleep. That’s my only complaint. I think management should look into that. Maybe add much more fans to the home/ maybe a window unit

This would have been a 5-star review had we been told there would be construction going on the entire 4 days we were there. I contacted makemyvacation, who were not helpful or understanding. They offered no reimbursement or apology and to top it off, insisted they had no idea about this scheduled maintenance project. could not I guess I should have consulted my magic ball before I booked this rental.The condo is located on a beautiful property that is very well kept. There is a koi pond, many gorgeous flowers, a big pool, a hot tub. Plus it is located right near the ocean so you don’t have to worry about finding parking as there is assigned parking in the covered garage. The condo is comfortable and offers plenty of storage and was clean and stocked with dishes, cookware, towels, and beach chairs for us to use.Bonus, check out the sea lion island nearby, a real treat! Just whatever you do, ask about possible maintenance projects before you rent.

My family of 5 stayed for a long weekend and enjoyed our stay. The short walk to the beach was a huge hit for our crew. The sleeping arrangements worked well, although the pull-out couch was uncomfortable (we ended up using that mattress on the floor instead of the couch bed frame). It is a very loud intersection, however, and very noisy late into the night (and early morning). We also wish there would have been more fans as the evenings were still very warm and the one small fan didn’t product much of a reprieve from the heat. The kids loved that there was a boogie board; we loved that there were chairs and beach towels so we didn’t have to pack ours. We’d definitely stay there again if there were a few large fans to help cool off (and drown out some of the noise).

Shops and restaurants are also close by (some walking distance or short shuttle ride) and fun to visit. The location of this unit was a bit troublesome. It is located on a corner of busy streets and close to the train tracks. There isn’t any air conditioning so you need to leave the windows open for air flow at night but that also lets in all of the noise of the streets and the train going by every few hours. I’m a pretty heavy sleeper but was woken up multiple times per night and early mornings by train and street noise. It is loudest in the master bedroom. The unit had lots of nice storage and new beach chairs. Kitchen had dishes/pans to cook simple meals but lacked a few basics like salt and pepper. There were only a couple of rolls of toilet paper in the unit for a 6 day stay with 6 people. We had to go and purchase more. It would be nice to have a better supply of staples in the unit When we arrived at the unit there were two garbage bags of linens sitting by the kitchen. I assumed they were dirty and accidentally left by housekeeping. Not the best first impression, but I called and got a prompt response and was instructed to leave the bags in the hall and they would be picked up. I did as instructed and the bags sat there for 2 additional days. A notice of violation was placed on our door for the laundry in the hallway. I called and discussed the issue again and the laundry was picked up later that day. Although resolved, someone else’s laundry is not what you want to be making calls about when on vacation. Because the unit received a violation during our stay I was given 0 stars on following the rules but I wasn’t the cause of the rule breaking or the violation being received.

This property is nice. I wish the kitchen had some standard “food items” like salt and pepper so we didn’t have to buy it and leave it. So keep that in mind when staying here. The amenities were of the complex were nice and it’s steps from the beach. There is some traffic and the train but the noise wasn’t too bad.

Property is great. The unit photos didn’t match everything exactly as shown and the floors hadn’t been mopped in quite some time. That’s the only reason for the four stars. Otherwise, a fantastic stay. Great area and unit. Easy to access. Would stay here again.

It is fairly loud with music from cars and revving engines, also the train isn’t too far and you can hear it and feel it every few hours. They offered to reimburse us if we could find something else but didn’t have any other properties available. So we ended up staying. We were woke up a few times and kids complained some about the noise but it was tolerable. You can see the ocean a little from the living room balcony and the second bedroom window has a great view. The beach is just through the complex and its very convenient not needing to find public street parking. The grounds are beautiful and so well kept, big heated pool and large hot tub. Nice big gas grills with some tables close by for a cookout. Parking was great with the garage just below the unit, one flight of stairs. Overall great tip, beautiful location, we would come back, but might pick a quieter unit next time.

The location of the unit is just ok. One of the balconies is facing a very noisy street, you can hear very loud music and the train. Mornings are noisy too due to landscaping work. The unit has a very strong smell of insecticides. The closets are marked " owner's closet locked" and "guest" closet. I was confused because some of the closets were not locked and it had clothing and shaving supplies in it and it just looks weird and messy. Bathroom had used shampoo and shower gel in it. Feels like the owners just stepped out for a week to rent the unit to someone else and didn't really take time to prepare the unit. Some pots and pans in the kitchen were greasy. I like Northcoast Village in general but this unit did not impress me with a true "vacation" and "guest ready" feeling.

The unit was awesome, very clean and nicely furnished. The views from both balconies were beautiful. The unit had a hotel feel, with the mini soaps and creatively folded towels. The beds were very comfy. The only con about the unit was it was right next to the street and it got very loud at night. The unit was awesome, very clean and nicely furnished. The views from both balconies were beautiful. The unit had a hotel feel, with the mini soaps and creatively folded towels. The beds were very comfy. The only con about the unit was it was right next to the street and it got very loud at night.
