Lovely view of the sea and motus. Wonderful private pool in front of private villa. Excellent kitchenette for self catering. Super friendly and helpful hosts. Thank you Sandrine and Lu Lu.

La struttura era ben curata, rifornita di tutti gli accessori , molto pulita e in una posizione ottimale , con una vista pazzesca . Sandrine e marito super gentili e disponibili nel prenotare le escursioni , noleggio macchina ed escursioni.

Exceptionnel

Un très joli studio très bien aménagé. Décoré avec beaucoup de goût. La gentillesse de sandrine. Une très belle vue. La tranquillité. La proximité des commerces et activités. L'ile par elle elle-même.

N'enlève rien à la beauté du site, loué en connaissance de cause mais L'accès au fare est Très caillouteux et pentu. On y arrive en roulant doucement surtout avec voiture de location. Nécessité dun moyen de locomotion.

Très agréable cocon

Logement très agréable, bien équipé et joliment décoré, piscine privée avec une très belle vue. On s'y sent bien. Nécessite néanmoins une voiture car un peu loin des commodités mais nous le savions déjà et nous avons pu faire des courses dès notre arrivée puisque Sandrine nous y a emmené en venant nous chercher a l'aéroport. Le contacte avec les hôtes était facile puisqu'ils vivent dans la maison attenante. Je recommande ce logement, le lieu est très cocooning. Très bien lorsqu'on est en couple et que l'on veut être tranquille.

Faire une lessive était payant, 1500 francs. J'ai trouvé cela un peu élevé. Les hôtes étaient sympathique mais je n'ai pas retrouvé l'accueil et la chaleurosité des Polynésiens que j'avais eu sur les autres iles les jours précédents. Et attention aux moustiques, selon la période.

Le petit paradis du Faré Mahi Mahi !

Nous avons tout aimé à Faré Mahi Mahi …. et nous avons eu du mal à partir ! D’abord le lieu se mérite après une route un peu chaotique mais totalement accessible avec la découverte de la maison et son point de vue exceptionnel l’accueil chaleureux de Sandrine et Laurent qui ont posé leurs valises ici il a quelques années et entretiennent avec beaucoup d’attention leurs chambres d’hôtes . Tout est beau , l’architecture de la maison la déco le jardin la petite piscine ainsi que les chambres remarquablement bien emménagées où il ne manque rien . Le lendemain c’est la belle surprise avec un lever de soleil éblouissant et le petit dej préparé par Sandrine composé de fruits frais, de yaourt maison confiture locale et tout ce qu’il faut pour débuter une belle journée . N’hésitez pas à leur demande conseil car ils connaissent bien leur île et les bons petits plans qui rend le séjour plus facile et agréable . Lors de notre voyage en Polynésie nous avons eu un énorme coup de cour pour Raïatéa et le Faré Mahi Mahi ❤️ On reviendra 🌏

An amazing place, with kind people. Couldn't have been more satisfied.

The hotel is situated high up on a mountain side. The view of the expanse of the blue ocean was magnificent. The serenity of the place helped to distress and then to soak in the beauty that was all around us. The valley on the side of our bungalow was exceptionally beautiful, I love listening to the chirping of the thousands of birds in the trees. Sandrine and Laurent are wonderful people and do their best to help out their clients and make their stay as memorable as possible. Laurent was a jewel as he washed my rental car before I left Fare Mahi Mahi. What a sweetie!!! Thank you so much, Laurent!!! I asked for extra pillows as I need to sleep with a lot of support for my back, needless to say, I slept extremely well, thank you Sandrine!!!

The dirt road going up to the place wasn't that bad but I rented a car that was very low, however I drove very slowly as to not scratch the bottom of the car.

Beautiful place to stay gorgeous views so cool

Exceptional views so nice to get up high away from the humidity. It was a little bright & sunny in the morning but just delightful in the afternoon. Make sure you SMS the owners & they will pick you up from the town & drop you off afterwards. We slept with the doors wide open all night just lovely under the fan. The room bathroom was fine. The host does a good breakfast very efficient French only pretty well. Lovely pool with views

People make the difference

Although it was quite rainy when we were in Raiatea, the place has an amazing view, the bed is very comfortable and the bathroom is big and clean! The suggestions for dinner were also great! However, let me thank Sandrine and Laurent, the hosts, they are exceptional! Our luggages did not arrive with us but only 3 days later (thank you AirFrance...) and although we did some shopping, we did not want to produce waste by buying additional stuff we do not really need as we had everything in our luggage. Thus, Sandrine gave us literally everything: t-shirts, pants, masks, fins, sea-shoes, everything! We really appreciated this help as we had the impression we were at friends' place and this was definitely a relief after a 27-hour flight and no luggage! Thank you a lot for your great help, we will always remember you!

The bumpy road to arrive definitely needs some concrete. This is not a hosts' fault, but it was a bit complicated to arrive with the scooter, many holes and with rain the situation was even worst.

Sandrine and Lolo are amazing; Sandrine was so great, she helped us make a reservation for dinner the night we arrived and replied to our questions during the day too (on whatsapp). The location is truly stunning; sadly we only stayed one night but the view over the bay and the water is spectacular. Breakfast was great. They were just so flexible with what we needed and even though they say they speak not much English (a little French on your part will go a long way), Sandrine does her best to communicate in English also.

Can't think of anything honestly. Great value for 1 nights stay based on our overall experiences after 3 weeks in FP.

Sandrine and Lolo were very friendly and helpfull. they picked us up at the airport, organised dinner from take away (which was local food and VERY tasty and plenty) . In the morning take brought us to the ferry to Tahaa. Their place was very neat and we had a good night sleep. The view to the bay must be spectacular, but we had rain when we left in the morning.
