Good location

The owner called before the check out time to ask us to leave 1h early because the cleaner was by the door, we were never told we would have to leave before the time indicated in booking

Great for the price paid

Room met expectations and was in a great location. Kitchen and bathroom were clean and useable. All beds were comfortable and bedding was ok. You get what you paid for I guess, it all worked and was great for what it was and price.

Kitchen had ants towards the end of the trip so we didn't use the kitchen much. Some of the sockets were screwed in properly. I'd recommend taking mosquito repellent as we got bit several times during the night. Only other issue was finding a dead lizard in the bed which wasn't there when we went to sleep.

Superb

Excellent location in the Plaka. Walk around corner to acropolis. Roomy apartment with authentic feel.

Photos gave impression there were 2 double beds. Reality was 1 double with 2 single beds that were not in the same room and a fold out couch that wasn't comfortable. Bit of an issue if you are traveling with 2 couples.

Exceptional

This property is about as convenient as you can get. The entrance to the acropolis is 1 block walk and all the restaurants of the Plaka neighbourhood are available with a quick stroll north on the same street. Great location.

The host had made own guide for most interesting sightseeing places and local restaurants, which were very good tips. Location was super good.

The place was nice, and the location is fabulous. Right at the bottom of Acropolis. In a lively neighborhood, but still quiet.

That it was very dark. And no instructions on heating/air condition. The latter did not work - until we bought batteries for the remote control

Great stay in Athens!

Big appartment ideally located - Plaka area, next to the Acropole - and yet very calm. Dimitris is reactive and helpful. Appropriate for a few days in Athens!

A bit dark (to keep from the heat) and humid - the courtyard is nice but you don’t get to take so much advantage of it.

Overall, the visit was great for the situation.

The owner was very helpful. He was able to accommodate a last minute booking due to a positive Covid test and not being able to board a plane. He met me with the keys and even helped me order a taxi to the airport at the end of my quarantine.

Some of the other apartment residents were loud at times in the shared courtyard. This wasn't an every night occurrence, though.

Great Location, not so great communication

The location was fabulous! We could walk just about everywhere to see all the sights, shopping and cafes. Our street was even a fun little side street. The beds were good, we just needed to text to get bed linens for the loft bed. The kitchen was a good size. Bathroom needed toiletries, which said it came with them. The patio is beautiful but only if you sat out there during the day. No lights at night to sit and enjoy the evening.

The communication could have been better. I asked several questions and was told they’d explain when we got there. But he was late to meet us and was very rushed to get thru giving us the keys. Had to message him to get bed linens and an iron. Says the place has toiletries and an iron. It had neither. I do wish he would have showed us how to run the washing machine but check in was very rushed. I set up a transfer from the airport as well as another for when we left. Got a message when we landed that I needed to take a taxi to the place. And our departure transfer was 45 minutes late. Just wish the communication and attention to detail would have been a bit better.
