We enjoyed our stay in this beautiful Villa up on the hill overlooking the lake. Great views and a great garden. We had lots of room for the 5 adults and 5 children and one baby. We would stay there again.

My family and a friend totally 9 people stayed at this property for a week. That’s a lot of people to please but with 6 bedrooms and 6 and a half baths there was plenty of space for all. Great views of the lake from multiple decks. All family members took a turn making dinner that we enjoyed eating on the large deck. If we are in the area again I would not hesitate in booking this fantastic property if available.

Easter week 2022
We had a wonderful week in the property and were able to enjoy the sights and sounds of Lake Garda, plus Verona and Venice thrown in. The property is well spaced and with nine people we certainly felt comfortable and were not sitting on top of one another. Each bedroom was spacious and had its own ensuite which was great. The drive to the property takes some getting used to and the road leading up is easily missed when on the main road. Once you are up to the property you are rewarded with stunning views over the lake and a great sense of calm and peace. One final word for Lia at the property who has been fabulous all the way through the Covid experience, from the early enquires back in 2020 to us finally getting to the property in 2022! I would very happily return to Lake Garda and to this property also, I miss it already!

Make sure to bring something to protect from mosquito bites. There are 3 beaches in easy walking distance. A few hundred meters follow the busy road though to access 2 of the beaches. Toller Rückzugsort mit viel Platz
Durch die vielen Zimmer (jedes mit frisch renoviertem Badezimmer) gibt es auch bei vielen Gästen genug Privatsphäre. Die unterschiedlichen Ebene des Hauses sind alle durch Treppen verbunden. Das Hause liegt sehr schön inmitten eines Waldes und bietet von den unterschiedlichen Terrassen aus einen hervorragenden Blick über den See. Die Gastgeberin hat uns bereits vor der Anreise um unsere Anliegen gekümmert und war sehr freundlich und hilfsbereit. Wir hatten eine tolle Zeit dort!

Traumlage und Herzlichkeit in der Betreuung des Aufenthalts in Einem
Wir (3 verwandte Familien, 3 Generationen) haben eine Woche in diesem wunderschönen Haus verbringen dürfen. Haus und Anwesen sind sehr gepflegt, sauber und tip top. Die Ausstattung von Zimmern, Bädern, Küche und Gemeinschaftsbereichen ist vorbildlich (wir haben schon viele Ferienhäuser in I, F und ES genutzt, dieses stach besonders hervor). Die Lage ist der Hit, freier Blick auf den See und Wald - man ist für sich inmitten dieser üppigen Vegetation. Als besonders wertvoll haben wir die überaus herzliche, engagierte, professionelle und sehr großzügige Betreuung durch Sig. Poggi erlebt. Ich empfehle dieses Haus / Objekt all jenen, die diesen Rahmen zu schätzen wissen, die Einrichtung pfleglich behandeln, als ob es ihr eigenes Zuhause wäre, damit es lange in diesem Zustand bleiben möge.

Einfach Super!
Unser Familienurlaub mit 9 Erwachsenen und einem Baby in diesem wunderschönen Haus im Park über dem Gardasee wird uns allen unvergesslich bleiben. Sechs Schlafzimmer mit jeweils eigenem Bad, mehrere Terrassen mit Seeblick, große Tische in Esszimmer und auf einer Terrasse, eine gut ausgestattete Küche, Markisen, Liegen und ... und ...!
Und dann noch Frau Poggi, die schon unsere Emailanfragen im Vorfeld sehr nett (in sehr gutem Deutsch) beantwortete und auch bei der Wohnungsübergabe außerordentlich zuvorkommend, hilfsbereit und nett war. Zu viel gelobt? Nein! Es war wirklich super!

Haus mit Aussicht
Die beste Aussicht die wir je hatten. Wir sind mit 4 Familien angereist. Das Haus bietet für alle den geeigneten Platz um sich zu erholen. Die Küche ist für so ein großes Haus ein wenig klein, aber mit allem ausgestattet was man benötigt. Die beiden Kühlschränke bieten genügend Platz. Jedem Schlafzimmer ist ein eigenes Bad zugeordnet. Zum Teil sehr klein, aber ausreichend. Auf dem Grundstück befinden sich noch zwei weitere Gebäude die nicht zum Ferienhaus gehören. Der Bewohner oberhalb möchte nicht, dass sein Hof zum Wenden der Autos genutzt wird, dies war aber der einzige Kontakt den wir mit den benachbarten Anwohnern hatten. Die Terrassen mit dem Blick auf den See sind einfach fantastisch und durch die Markise über der unteren Terrasse ist diese auch jederzeit nutzbar gewesen. Wem es zu heiß war, der konnte einen schattigeren Platz vor dem oberen Gebäudeausgang unter den Bäumen finden. Der Fußweg zum See ist nichts für Menschen die nicht gut zu Fuß sind, aber wir fanden ihn durchaus gut zu bewältigen. Für Kinderwagen aber nicht geeignet. Alles in allem ist das Haus ein wunderbarer Platz um den See zu geniesen und ein guter Ausgangspunkt für viele Unternehmungen. Der einzige Grund warum ich nur 4 von 5 Sternen vergebe ist, dass keine Liegen für den Aussenbereich zur Verfügung standen und ein Pool das Tüpfelchen auf dem I wäre. Ich kann La Limonaia nur empfehlen. Vielen Dank Frau Poggi für die nette Betreuung vor Ort. Vielen Grüße . A.S.

Wir waren zu 8. dort, sodass fast jeder ein Zimmer für sich hatte.
Die Lage des Hauses mit Blick auf den Gardasee war sehr schön und auch die Kommunikation mit der Vermieterin war einwandfrei!

Wonderfull vacation for a group of adult golfers
We had a wonderful stay at this Villa - overlooking the Garda lake.
A group af mid-aged male golfers spent a week at this Villa that was a very nice accommodation. It easily can accomodate our group of 9 golfers - but can also easily give room for a larger group.
The Villa is in a very nice setting - with a 180 degree view of the lake.
One minor issue is, that you cannot easily walk to Garda Village - as the road is not offering a path - and you must walk on the car lanes.
I will recommend the villa for all groups - golfers, family, and others looking for at great place.
The host Lia is doing everything possible to make your stay nice - thanks.

Lage, Lage, Lage!!!
Die Überschrift sagt alles! Die Lage und die Aussicht auf den Gardasee sind wirklich traumhaft!
Wir waren vom 05.05 - 12.05.2018 auf dem Anwesen La Limonaia mit 6 Personen. Alles Männer! So hatte jeder sein eigenes Zimmer mit Bad (perfekt). Wir kamen mit einem Kleinbus (9-Sitzer) und der Weg zum Haus ist schon spannend. Mehrere hundert Meter Schotter- u. Sandweg bergauf (man denkt noch 50 m weiter und du fällst hinten runter von der Erdscheibe) bis zum elektr. gesicherten Eingangstor. Die Spiegel des Wagens passten so gerade durch (aber was kommen wir auch mit solch einem "Dickschiff"). Danach fährt man noch ca. 150 m bevor man überhaupt das Haus sieht (so wie es sich für ein Anwesen gehört).
Zum Haus: Alt aber groß, riesengroß! Zum Teil wurde dieses Haus in den Berg gebaut (sieht man unten am Grillplatz). Alle Räume sind sauber und gepflegt. Und wenn die Renovierungsmaßnahmen so weiter gehen (einige Zimmer und Badezimmer sind noch alt, einige schon neu) dann wird dieses Domizil auch weiterhin ein Schmuckstück bleiben.
Leitungswasser darf man nicht trinken, aber dafür hat die Vermieterin ordentlich Wasserflaschen bereit gestellt.
Ach ja, alles was in der Beschreibung steht stimmt (kein Fake)!
Zur Vermieterin: Frau Poggi hat uns sehr nett begrüßt, durch alle Räume geführt und uns alles gezeigt was wir wissen mussten. U. a. auch wo die Hauptsicherungen sind ("Falls mal der Strom ausfällt"). Und jetzt kommen wir zur eigentlichen Bewertung der Vermieterin.
Ein einem Abend zog ein Gewitter auf und ein Blitz schlug in der Nähe des Hauses ein (wir waren allerdings an dem Abend in Bardolino und haben davon nichts mit bekommen). Als wir nach Hause kamen bemerken wir dass das Tor offen stand und der Strom weg war. Eingeschaltet und gut (dachten wir). Am nächsten Morgen Wasser kalt und Backofen ging nicht mehr, und nu'? Anruf bei Frau Poggi. Nach zwei Stunden lief der Backofen wieder, nach fünf Stunden war die Warmwasserversorgung wieder hergestellt und am nächsten Tag waren die Sensoren am Eingangstor repariert!!!

Unvergleichliche Lage, toller Ausblick und viel viel Platz!
Tolles Haus, welches ein klein wenig in die Jahre gekommen ist, aber dafür mit unvergleichlicher Lage und wundervollem Ausblick punktet. Es war alles sehr, sehr sauber und ordentlich. Auch an Ausstattung (in der Küche, in den Bädern, in den Schlafzimmern) hat es nicht gemangelt. Alles war vorhanden, und jedes Schlafzimmer hat einen Zugang zu einem eigenen Bad!!
Unsere Kinder hatten mehr als genug Platz zum Spielen (im Haus und auch außen auf dem parkähnlichen Grundstück), wir Erwachsenen konnten uns ebenfalls im Haus und auf insgesamt 3 Terassen "verteilen"
Die Lage ist wirklich phänomenal und die Aussicht von den Terrassen ohne Worte!! Zu diesem Preis gibt es mit Sicherheit wenig Objekte mit vergleichbaren Eckdaten. Hinzu kommt noch die sehr nette Vermieterin, und der schnelle und unkomplizierte Kontakt mit ihr, in unserem Fall sogar auf Deutsch.
Hier hat wirklich alles gepasst!!!

Die Lage ist ein Traum
Das Anwesen wirkt für sich, die Lage u. Aussicht sind atemberaubend.
Wer seine Ruhe möchte und dennoch in 15 Gehminuten am See und in 20 Gehminuten in Garda auf dem Marktplatz sein will, ist hier absolut richtig.
Vom 15.07 bis 29.07. verbrachten wir (zwei Familien; insgesamt 8 Erwachsenen) eine schöne Zeit in dem großen Haus und wunderschönen , in Teilen naturbelassenen, parkähnlichen Garten.
Die Vermieterin ist völlig entspannt und trägt durch ihre Hilfs- u. Kompromissbereitschaft zum Gelingen des Urlaubs bei. Neben den zwei Pkw noch ein Anhänger auf denen wir unsere zwei Motorräder mitgebracht hatten, alles kein Problem. Lebensmittel für die Ersten Tage morgens vor der Wohnungsübernahme in einen gereinigten Kühlschrank. „Ja gerne kommen Sie vorbei. “
Das weiträumige Haus mit den Terrassen, living-room und ausreichenden Schlaf- und Badezimmern, erlaubt, dass unsere Kinder unabhängig voneinander für noch anstehende Klausuren des laufenden Semesters ungestört in dieser traumhaften Lage lernen konnten.
Ein Urlaub der uns sehr lange in guter Erinnerung bleibt.

Super tolles Ferienhaus!
Wir waren als große Familie im La Limonaia und hatten dort ein wirklich sehr tolle Zeit. Das Haus ist sehr schön, vor allem der Ausblick. Es hat an nichts gefehlt. Wir hatten ausreichend Platz zum schlafen, duschen, kochen, essen und Spaß haben.
Auch die Vermieterin war sehr um unser wohl bemüht und immer zu erreichen.
Zum kostenlosen Strand und zum nächsten größeren Städtchen sind es ca. 5 Minuten Autofahrt.
Wir können die Wohnung nur weiterempfehlen

Urlaubsdomizil mit herrlichem Ausblick
Wir waren zum 2. Mal mit 10 Personen in La Limonaia und waren wiederum vollauf begeistert. Das Haus mit den drei großen Terrassen liegt herrlich über dem See, man hat einen wunderbaren Blick bis hinüber nach Sirmione. Auch die Ruhe in dem parkähnlich angelegten Gelände hat uns sehr gut getan. In den großzügigen Räumen hatten wir alle genug Platz, sodass jeder sich auch einmal zurückziehen konnte. Die Einrichtung ist bequem, praktisch und vollständig, zwei Zimmer waren völlig neu renoviert.
Sowohl die Korrespondenz im Vorfeld als auch die Betreuung vor Ort waren perfekt, wir hatten sehr freundlichen Kontakt zur Vermieterin.
Da wir alle sehr bewegungsfreudig sind, hatten wir Fahrräder dabei und haben es genossen, am See entlang und auch in die Berge zu radeln. Dabei haben wir zahlreiche nette Restaurants entdeckt und bei herrlichem Wetter die sehenswerte Umgebung erkundet.
Wir können "La Limonaia" uneingeschränkt weiterempfehlen, sowohl für große Familien als auch für Kleingruppen.

Idyllisches Plätzchen mit traumhafter Aussicht
Wir Großfamilie – mit Kindern und Freunden – kommen 2017 zum dritten- bzw. vierten Mal ins romantische „La Limonaia“. Die großzügige Anlage ist zwar in die Jahre gekommen, aber durchaus sympathisch. Alles ist sauber und zuvorkommend vorbereitet. Die Essensplätze im und außerhalb des Hauses bieten viel Platz und Atmosphäre. Der Aufenthaltsraum ist besonders schön und gemütlich. Auch mit 10 Personen haben wir ausreichend Platz. Die verschiedenen Terrassen sind einfach nur herrlich. Außer dem Vogelgezwitscher und ab und zu einem Boot vom See hört man hier nur „Natur“. Wir kochen gern selbst und haben auch in der Küche alles Notwendige vorgefunden. Besonders schön ist die romantische Lage über dem See. Zwei malerische Strand-Anlagen sind leicht über einen geschützten Weg zu erreichen. „La Limonaia“ liegt auch super zentral für Stadtbesuche oder vielfältige Ausflüge. Wir fühlen uns sehr wohl hier und kommen gerne immer wieder.

There is no air conditioning in any of the bedrooms and a small one in the main living quarter. Outside temps were near 100 degrees F when we we there and the bedrooms were incredibly hot.
The driveway is unpaved and pretty bumpy and a walk to the lake is impractical especially for younger kids.
The kitchen is small if you are cooking for large groups and we had no dish clothes available in the kitchen.
There is a washing machine, but no dryer, clothes must be dried on a rack.
