Enjoy a weekend of leisure or fun-filled activities in and on the water, the choice is yours! Lake Tillery and the surrounding area have so much to offer. Swimming, fishing, hiking, biking, winery tours, golfing, kayaking and so much more! This beautiful 2-story cottage has 4 bedrooms, 3 full bathrooms and can sleep 12 with the following accommodations: 1 king, 1 queen, 1 full upstairs, plus 2 twin beds and 2 sets of bunk beds downstairs. Take in stunning views of the main channel, all while swimming off the dock in a quiet, protected cove with deep water. The home comes equipped with an outdoor grill, and the kitchen has all the necessary basics to prepare your meals. Feel free to use the kayaks, stand-up paddle board, canoe and fishing rods during your stay. Life jackets are available, too. End your day with a vigorous game of ping pong in the games room or put your feet up by the fire pit at the water! Bring your own boat, or rent a pontoon boat at the marina, just 10 minutes away. So much to do, or so little, it s all up to you!

This house really is the perfect getaway. Fully stocked with everything you need. Sue was amazing with communication and even supplied us with our first batch of s'more goodies. The house if in the best quiet cove that was perfect for fishing and swimming and play with all the water toys! We are already preparing a time where we can come back. Ive already recommended this home for my friends and other family members. Come stay here trust me!!! Thank you for all the wonderful memories we were able to make here

We had a great time at the lake, the house was great had all we needed for a week's home away from home. Kids enjoyed the water, did lots of swimming and fishing. We stayed in and cooked daily the kitchen was fully stocked with whatever we needed. We truly enjoyed ourselves. Hope to return next year!

This stay was so wonderful for so many reasons. The home and the dock with all of the “toys” was all that anyone could want. Mornings on the deck were great, and evenings watching the sunset were beautiful. This place has a very special place in our hearts.

We’ve stayed here 4 times now. Teenagers love the basement with pingpong, darts and games. Canoes always get used and fishing off the dock is great! Newly updated firepit area is beautiful!

We rented the lake house to come from Rhode Island and spend some time with our father who was recently diagnosed with stage 4 terminal lung cancer and lives in North Carolina. The house was absolutely beautiful and we are so happy we got to make some new memories here with our father in such a beautiful home and amazing scenery. Our group consisted of 4 adults and 7 children from 5 months to 16 years of age and all enjoyed themselves very much... would love to come back at some point hopefully while my dad is still with us

This beautiful lake house is one of the most wonderful homes we have stayed in. This house has everything a family needs to spend a vacation full of relaxation, fun, and comfort. The house is impeccably clean. The patio and yard, too. Its owners have worked very hard to give the best to their guests. The kitchen is spacious, full of everything you need to cook any meal. The rooms were excellent, and the beds were extremely comfortable and clean. On the lower floor there is a large and spacious game room. My kids had a lot of fun playing on the pool table. They had a blast and they want to return soon. My husband is a fisherman, and he had a great time,too. He fish a lot from the dock. Even a 12-pound catfish. That fish made his trip very memorable. We have our own boat and we brought it with us. We can't wait to return. We want to thank the owners.They are exceptional, they were so nice & they gifted us the supplies to make smores. We really enjoyed their fire pit, and the gas grill, and we cooked several meals there. We can't wait to visit this wonderful lake home again. We have had a wonderful experience. THE BEST!! 🙏

This is the perfect place to stay away from your regular busy life. Very quiet, beautiful views, marvelous sunset. The cabin has a lot of games for everybody and we loved it. Sue and Tim were very nice and always responsive. Only one inconvenient and it is the trash disposal. You have to take it with you at the end of the stay and the nearest disposal place is 10 minutes away. For the rest, I will go back another time and recommend the stay to my friends.

Wonderful, quiet, friendly cove with phenomenal sunsets. A super family friendly set up with every detail laid out. We enjoyed, the canoing, kayak, fishing (bring what you like to fish with),awesome star gazing and local hiking at Mt Morrow. Sue and Tim do a great job

This place checked all the boxes. We initially only used it for winter, cuz the downstairs games room- pool, ping pong, darts, and more kept us plenty busy. And the winter sunset view is superb up the cove. We recently rented (fall) and we're able to get full use of all the water crafts. New fire pit. S'mores! Very professional rental. All you need. One of our favorites!!!!

We stayed at this lovely property to attend a family party nearby. Everything about it was welcoming from the moment we walked in the door. Every need was anticipated and provided for. Information about the functioning of the home was clearly spelled out in the welcome book and made for ease in our stay. Contact with the hosts was prompt and helpful during the booking process, with quick answers to our questions. All manner of games and recreational activities were available. We will be looking forward to our next trip!

We truly enjoyed our stay. The property was well equipped with a everything we needed. Everything was very clean. I was a little concerned that my granddaughter would be afraid of the moose mounded on the wall. But we told her it was a caribou from the Polar Express movie and that sold her on the moose/caribou. The property owners were easy to reach. We enjoyed the nice cool nights and just setting on the dock. Coffee and a sweater nothing could be more relaxing.

My family had a wonderful time. House was very clean and spacious, room for us all. Lots of games and activities for everyone. The lake and dock was awesome for swimming and fishing. We brought our own canoe and kayaks, having the boat house to store them during our visit was nice. Thanks for sharing your home with us.

We love visiting Lake Tillery every year and this house was by far our favorite. The whole family enjoyed swimming off the dock and kids loved going down the slide. Also, we really enjoyed kayaking and paddle boarding.

I found myself in the area on business, and the hotels are far and few between where I was going to stay. I asked my co-worker if he was interested in staying on a lake instead of the hotel. This place was awesome, I would love to come back again this time spent a little more time and bring my grandkids.

We had a wonderful time. We fish off the deck. Kids had fun in the water. We use the Kayak and paddle broad, canoe. We just had a wonderful time. My husband brought his boat the men fished caught some bass and brim and release them. This is our second time staying here at the Lake house. I recommend this place to anyone. Thanks again! This was our first family vacation to NC. We had a great time at the Lake House even with it being cold. There was still lots to do inside and we used the fire pit 2 nights that we were there. The last day we did get to try out the canoe. We would definitely love to come back during the summer to take advantage of the lake.

We rented for my daughter's wedding party. There were 2 couples and an additional 8 people 18+. It was a lovely house, everything was as described. I would have loved to stay in the warmer months to take advantage of the lake.

We enjoyed bright sunsets in the quiet cove on a chilly weekend. The downstairs game room was a hit and the house has an abundance of games and DVDs. One day we hiked the lake shore in Morrow Mtn state park and another day made the easy drive to Charlotte for NFL game. The house was clean and well equipped. Fantastic communication with the hosts. We’ve stayed at this property last year and it was just as good this year. Plenty of space for all of us. The downstairs with the pool/ping pong table and video games is a favorite of all of my kids. And you can’t be the views. If you want to get away, this is the place.

Everything about the rental was wonderful. Response time from the owners were wonderful. Check in process was very smooth. The house was as written. There were water toys on the property. Fire pit was wonderful for a time to relax and make s’mores. Pool table and ping-pong table was wonderful for family gatherings. Ample parking. Really nothing to complain about.

If you are looking for a nice, quite getaway on the lake. This place is perfect. House and all property accommodations where all awesome. We have a big family 12 adults, 3 year old grandson and 2 3 month old grandbabies. There was plenty of room for all us. The Host Sue was the best. Every time I had a question she got right back to me. We will defiantly be visiting this property again. Thanks Sue!

Our entire family had a terrific time at this vacation home. We jumped off the dock into the water, went kayaking and paddle boarding almost every day. It’s located on a gorgeous shady cove just perfect for early morning coffee on the deck or evenings around the campfire. We did it all!!

This is a comfortable home on a beautiful wooded lakefront lot. We enjoyed the beautiful view, the lakeside fire pit and the downstairs game room. My family also loved trying out a lot of the board games. We also brought Eno hammocks to hang from the trees. The home has a very well stocked kitchen; and the owners are responsive.

Beautiful quiet, mornings sitting on the dock . Great afternoon swims in the cove. Late evening boat rides. Comfortable and clean resting for the night. As our grand children say, "this is the best week of the year!" Looking forward to another week next year!

Always a pleasure staying here we have all we need. The neighbors are no bother. The location is great, not much boating traffic so you can swim without worrying about boats constantly coming by. You'll get a glimpse at the wildlife, we saw plenty of squirrels, a few raccoons and even a deer or two on the property. It's a very quiet relaxing spot.. Can't wait to return next year!
