About this house rental

This home, which sleeps 10, is perfect for a family or group gathering. Tranquility Base has 3 bedrooms (1 King downstairs, 1 King upstairs, and a 6-bed bunk room) The bunk room is equipped with a Roku TV - perfect for kids. Both bedrooms upstairs have direct access to the upper balcony where you can enjoy your morning coffee and afternoon tea overlooking the peaceful cove. One full bath is located on each floor. You will find lots of outdoor space for entertaining, lawn games and large level parking area. The huge covered porch is equipped for outdoor dining and relaxing. A large private dock is great for fishing, sunning, and water activities. Bring your boat and launch it at a public boat ramp 5 minutes away. Conveniently, tie up at our private dock. Fishing kayak available. In the evenings, gather around the fire pit, make smores and reflect on the day. The gas fireplace makes the home cozy in the winter months. The large kitchen is equipped with drip coffee maker, ice maker, microwave, dishwasher, electric stove, toaster, blender, cooking utensils dishes, and basic spices. Outdoor gas grill for barbecues. The dining table seats 8 comfortably for family dinners. Additional seating at kitchen bar or outdoor tables. Linens, towels, and initial paper products are provided at no additional cost.
Centrally located between Charlotte, Asheboro, and Pinehurst. you will find Charlotte Motor Speedway, Denton Farm Park, Asheboro Zoo, and world class golf at Pinehurst within an hour drive. Within minutes, you can visit several wineries, Reeds Gold Mine, Morrow Mountain State Park or Uwharrie National Forest for hiking, horseback riding, mountain biking, and 4 wheeling. Restaurants and groceries are easy to find around the area. Within walking distance, the Boat House Marina offers food, drinks, gas, boating supplies, fishing tackle & bait and a full bar.

The house was perfect for our needs. We attended the US Open in Pinehurst and the drive was easy both ways. This is a gorgeous piece of property. We also enjoyed the food and music at the marina. We sat outside at the Marina at sunset and enjoyed watching the boats coming into the Marina. The house was clean and the host was very responsive to any questions that we might have had. You can't go wrong with this rental. We would rent again!

Very nice home on the lake. We visited in the fall and it was a very peaceful getaway. I think it would be a really awesome summer getaway for a family. The host was very pleasant and prompt with any communications. We planned to cook most meals at home and the kitchen was well stocked with most anything you need to cook with. A grocery store was just minutes away. Overall experience was great.

Stayed three nights at this property and it is exactly as depicted! The home is clean and has been updated. The A/C works great. The outdoor space is really the selling feature of the house! From the huge parking area, the level backyard, and the additional space offered with the boathouse across the footbridge, it is truly a gem! Very peaceful cove with easy access to the main channel on the lake as well as being close to restaurants, shops and the grocery store in town. Thank you for a great stay!

We had a wonderful lake vacation. This property is very clean, quiet, and relaxing. We brought our boat and really enjoyed hanging out on the dock. The house was very accommodating and had everything that we needed to hang out, cook, and eat. This was our first stay on Lake Tillery and we couldn’t of had a better experience. We are already talking about doing this again next summer.

We enjoyed our stay at this property. Love the fully stocked kitchen. We had all the spices, pots and pans to prepare our evening dinner. The kids enjoyed the fire pit and roasting marshmallows for Smores. Great time spent together for the fourth.

We have stayed at this home several times and it’s always a great place for our family to relax by the lake, regardless of the season. It’s beautiful, clean, convenient, affordable, and has great parking. During the summer, we’ve enjoyed taking our boat out and fishing on the dock. Looking forward to returning.

The property was at the end of a cove with plenty of room to play lawn games the fire pit was in an area that was perfect the dock was great for fishing and just sitting around having a glass of wine and seeing the beautiful sunset.

Found the location excellent for swimming and easy boat access. Great size flat yard for kids to play, and run around. Outdoor dock well lit and comfortable for lounging. Location is only 1.8 miles to grocery store, and bait store, very convenient .

We stayed here for our annual family vacation and we were not disappointed! There was plenty of room for puzzles, games and conversation. There was also room for corn hole boards and plenty of outside activities. The kitchen was well equipped with anything you could think of, including spices! The dock was nice to lay out on and to fish off of. Overall we had a great experience.

We loved staying at this beautiful lake front house. It was so cozy and relaxing. We were able to tie our boat at their boat dock which makes it so easy to go for a ride day or night. Lisa and Steve were the best hostess and host! Any questions that we had, they responded very quickly. We loved going out on both front porches and spending time with family and friends. We will definitely come back when it’s cooler! We would love to enjoy the fire pit and gas logs! This place is 5 star for sure!!

Feels like coming home

Feels like coming home

This is the 4th time we have stayed in this home. We love the peacefulness of the lake and the home is clean and has everything we need for a great relaxing vacation with our family. We enjoyed fishing off the dock and caught many brim as well as a few bass and a catfish. We were able to bring our boat to use on the lake and tied up to the dock (boat landing is not far away). Again, it’s just the perfect spot for us and we look forward to returning.

House was amazing and clean! Perfect location for the kids to swim and fish without other boaters flying by. Docked our pontoon with no problems. House had everything we needed for a great vacation! Lisa was great! Very accommodating and easy to communicate with! Will book this property again as the kids have requested it become an annual trip! :)

WE MADE A HUGE MISTAKE WHEN RENTING THIS PROPERTY OVER THE MEMORIAL DAY WEEKEND!!!! ...........because my husband and I FELL. IN. ABSOLUTE. LOVE. with the lake & this house that NOW WE'RE LOOKING TO BUY A LAKE HOUSE ON LAKE TILLERY!!! It was ABSOLUTELY PERFECT!!!! This house was everything charming, quaint, tranquil, storybook, peaceful, and SUCH a WONDERFUL EXPERIENCE!! We will NEVER forget this amazing Memorial Day Weekend Getaway!! A few amazing features about the HOUSE: -it was C-L-E-A-N!!! (& trust me when I say this, my husband and I are CLEAN FREAKS!) -it was a wonderful layout & setting! The yard, the lake, the home...everything was straight out of a storybook! It was MAGICAL! -the house provided everything we needed! We didn't have to look for a single thing! -Location was AMAZING! We were only a 5 minute drive from downtown Norwood where we grocery shopped, dined out for breakfast, and shopped on the sweet little Main Street. A few amazing features about the HOST: -Lisa was such a blessing to work with! Her communication before/during/after booking was impeccable & unmatched! We've never had a VRBO host communicate with us as well as she did!! BRAVO LISA!! -Any time we had a question while on the property...she answered right away even though she was on vacation herself!! -After booking, I asked if we could host a small family birthday party on property for my son's 3rd birthday during our stay. She gave us permission and was so accommodating with my request for the American flag bunting to be put out early for our stay and for the "Land of the Three, Home of the Brave" birthday party theme for my son! Everyone LOVED the bunting! :) Like I mentioned earlier, my husband and I felt like we made a huge mistake renting a lake house for the weekend since we fell IN LOVE with the lake life!! We will for sure be back to stay at this VRBO and this was truly one of the most relaxing, most fun, and most memorable vacations we've ever taken as a family!!!

Our time here was such a positive experience. We were able to enjoy the quiet cove location from the patio, deck, fire pit, dock, etc. The inside is extremely inviting from the moment you walk in. It’s clean, well maintained, and well stocked of the essentials. We appreciated the detailed instructions for the remotes, finding area restaurants and attractions, and understanding departure responsibilities. Communication with the property manager was very comfortable, which helps me to have a better vacation! We have already decided we will return and stay longer next time!
