Clean and comfortable studio 10 minutes from FCO airport.

Casa del Loto was a very good value. Host was very timely with communications and extremely helpful. The accommodations were very simple but it was clean and comfortable. Best part was the proximity to FCO.

Deception

Good communication to find property

I booked the apartment as show on the reservation page expecting everything that was shown , but instead I was given a squatty attic room with no apartment facilities . the owner stated the apartment room was already occupied . The owner swapped the apartment that I booked to their attic room because it was already occupied and used the excuse , the apartment is more expensive. This is DECEPTION . The attic room is definitely not worth the money , it’s not possible to stand up in most of the space . It had a broken coffee machine , the shower cubicle is child size and the water was just warm enough to use . The room lighting is abysmal, just a tiny low energy bulb that a firefly could out shine . The owners attitude was arrogant . I sent my complaint to booking.com but they are playing a game pretending they cannot find my booking so I informed them I will return my feed back without their response to my issue

Luce praticamente inesistente. Un unica lampadina in camera da letto a luce gialla . Impossibile leggere , impossibile trovare le cose . Assurdo dover utilizzare la torcia del cellulare

Buono per una notte

Si tratta di un vero e proprio appartamento, molto spazioso. Non so come potrebbe essere la vista fuori, perché siamo sia arrivati che partiti con il buio e le serrande sono rimaste abbassate. Si trova a 5 minuti dal parcheggio dove abbiamo lasciato l'auto e comunque vicinissimo all'aeroporto di Fiumicino.

La pulizia lascia molto a desirare (soprattutto in bagno e in cucina) e il letto è pieno è pieno di bozze: forse il materasso è di lana come un tempo. Non è consigliabile per chi ha problemi alla schiena. Per una notte va bene, più a lungo non credo.

Für eine Nacht ausreichend

Es gab einen Föhn und Handtücher sowie Duschbad und Shampoo. Nicht weit weg vom Flughafen, mit dem Bus gut zu erreichen.

Nicht ansprechend eingerichtet, Balkon war schmutzig und ohne Tisch. Die Fenster im Schlafbereich und im Bad verschimmelt und die Kaffeemaschine war undicht.

Proximité de l’aéroport

Le sol n’était pas propre (cheveux d’autres personnes ainsi que traces de chaussures marrons) la serpillière n’a pas été utilisée. La climatisation a une odeur désagréable il faudrait faire la maintenance des filtres. Serrure dorée de porte principale qui tombe (il faut la revisser). Les locataires de l’appartement 1 étaient très bruyants après 23h PM et avant 5h AM. La chasse d’eau a des soucis, il faut la réparer (l’interrupteur reste bloqué, l’eau coule e continu)

It could use a renovation.

Close to the airport, conveniently located if you’re catching an early flight the next day. The fact that there are two supermarkets right next door is a huge bonus.

A bit outdated. The ceiling of the attic is very low so it’s a bit problematic for tall people. Just be careful. The whole place could use a renovation. I wonder when was the last time it got a renovation (if ever). The shower cabin is very small… there’s barely any room to move your ass around. The “Don’t Touch” stickers placed almost everywhere make it sound like the guests who are staying there are small children who need adult guidance. Quite condescending actually.

Good for one night before flight departure

Location close to the airport. You can reach it by bus and leave the car nearby free of charge. Room is clean and quite basic. Great for one night. Check in is great as it is automated. Host is very kind and available.

The neighbourhood does not offer much.

Exceptional

The place was exactly what we were looking for - a comfortable one night stay before flying out from Fiumicino early in the morning. The hosts were friendly, instructions to access the apartment were clear, we were travelling with a rent car and it seemed to be safe to park it overnight in the area.

Superb

The apartment was next door to two shopping centres, so buying dinner and heating it up was very easy. The owner very kindly dropped by to provide extra wine glasses and was very prompt to respond to text messages. A very quiet apartment very close to the airport, ideal for our last night in Italy.

This is an excellent place for a short stay with easy access to the airport.

The room was very quiet and spotless. The owner gave us excellent instructions on how to take the local bus on arrival at FCO and detailed instructions on how to enter the room, accompanied with pictures of each step.

The room is small and the shower is very small. It worked fine for me and my friend but a bigger guest might have problems.

Fantastic stay

Everything. The landlady is super kind and hospitable. The flat had everything I needed for a very comfortable stay, it is spacious and located next to a supermarket and close to the bus stop, in a quiet area. The necropolis of Porto is 8 mins walk away, I had a great time visiting it.

The apartment is great!

It’s not near to the airport by walking. There are also no buses in the night or in the early mornings. You can take an Uber/Taxi to the airport, but for a short ride (6/7min) they require a lot because there is no other possibility available.

The best cost-benefit apartment near FCO airport

Great location, perfect for 1 night stay as it is 5 minutes away from the airport. The hosts Andrea and Maria were incredible and provided everything I needed, especially airport transfer both ways. Clean apartment, good bed, free espresso coffee, good bathroom with amenities and good heating during winter with AC also available. Supermarket 2 minutes away walking distance.

If you are very tall you have to be careful due to attic ceiling but very manageable.
