Super close to the downtown Quepos area, made it easy to walk around the city. The on-site manager Marco was very friendly and helpful with suggestions of places to go, restaurants and was always available to help out.
AC was $5 a day which is fine but, I don’t remember reading that in the original listing. I believe it just said that the room had AC, not that we’d have to pay for it.

The place is very well located in the village, and the owner Santa Marco does his best to help people and make them happy :)
The noise sometimes early in the morning.

Marco was extremely helpful and very friendly! He had lots of recommendations and was always looking to help! The room was very clean and well stocked. As a female solo traveler, nomadas felt very secure and safe. The location has several restaurants, markets, and parks and beaches within walking distance!

very clean, great location and lovely hosts!
the lock on the door is not that secure - but safe enough, just a bit weak.

Great location in centre of Quepos but on a quiet road. Very easy to get a bus to San Antonio National Park, they come about every 15 minutes. Jorge speaks very good English and is great at giving local advice of places to visit. Clean and well equipped. Thanks Jorge and Pamela :)

Great location in Quepos with ~6 apartements. Simple kitchen with everything you need. Nice garden to chill and we felt save.. Everything was clean and the price was inexpensive. Communication with the house owner was via Whatsapp - never saw him.
A bit of a downer was, that the toilet was blocked and there was no visible acting or help from the house owner. Maybe our case was not on his priority on friday afternoon. So, we couldn't use the toilet for the last 20 hours till we left...

Close to downtown, very basic amenities
Was told having air-condtioning was an extra charge - for a coastal town afternoons were very uncomfortable.OK value.

Very good location, in the centre of Quepos, where you can find all the local places. The staff was very helpful at all times.

A cozy little place. This place is perfect for solo travellers or couples. It is just few minutes from main busstation. There are restaurants near thia place, as well as supermarket. Quite and safe.. Serviceoriented staff, friendly and helpful. There is also a tiny kitchen. You can prepare some light food. Have a look, it is like Pura Vida.

I like how clean, cosy, and affordable it was. The kitchenette had everything I needed and the mini fridge was nice and unexpected
I like how close it was to the Quepos bus station and the ocean
The only unfortunately detail was having to unlock the lockbox to grab the key every time going in or out of the property

This property is in a quiet area of the town Quepos, a 10 minute drive to Manuel Antonio National Park. The hosts are communicative and friendly. There are some good kitchen facilities, however it would benefit from a small few more thoughtful touches, eg. a corkscrew- our host was very helpful and inventive in opening our bottle of wine! We received a WhatsApp on the day of our arrival with lots of nice recommendations of things to do in the area which was a lovely touch.
We found the description of the property to be a little different to what we experienced. Although the property lists air conditioning in their facilities, to use it you have to pay extra per day. This was not made clear to us before booking or arrival.

Really nice little studio with comfy bed and hot shower! The kitchen was equipped enough to prepare simple meals. 10 minutes walk from the bus station. Amazing value/money ratio.

1) It looked all right on the photos, and i guess the photos did not lie.
2) The refridgerator worked
3) The bathroom was ok.
1) Some rooms work just fine with a fan. The room we had did not. It would have requiered an AC.
2) The gate to the street has a key in a box with a code lock. It felt like a bad solution if you want to get in fast. Sometimes you don't have 90 secunds to plunder with the code if you feel unsafe.
3) We switched to a larger room at another place in Quepos with a better location, AC and a private key to the gate, for a cheaper price. That would suggest that this room was a bad deal.

My favourite spot in my 3 weeks in Costa Rica. Loved being here - wish I could have stayed longer. Comfy bed, nice outdoor section. Simple kitchen very well stocked so could make coffee / juices. Staff very helpful with friendly security living on site. Centre of town but not loud.

Pamela and Jorge were incredible hosts - Jorge picked us up from the bus station and took us on a tour of Quepos before taking us back to the room. He even showed us our first sloth we’ve seen in Costa Rica! They were always on hand via text with lots of tips and kindness too, the best hosts we’ve had! The room was great, good stocked kitchen and spacious bedroom. Wifi very strong too! In a quiet neighbourhood of Quepos that is only 5 minutes from the main part of town.
The room did get a little hot but the fan and air con helped a lot!

After 4 weeks in Costa Rica, this room was by far the best! The hosts are super friendly and eager, give great tips on the area, great communication with them! The room was nicely decorated, clean, everything is new and there is all the equipment in the kitchen you need. I felt very comfortable and safe. Perfect! Thank you for this great stay!

Amazing and super helpful hosts who speak fluent English, they will make sure you have all the useful information to see the best of the region!
Good location, 3 mins walk to the Quepos bus station. There are buses to Manuel Antonio National Park leaving Quepos every 15 mins cost 320 colones. Many official taxi drivers in the area refused to use the meter and Uber/DiDi are not available so the bus becomes very useful.

I arrived well before checkin hoping to just drop off my bags. Instead, they rushed around to get my room ready early. The owner even took me on a short tour of the town.
The room had so many extras: a small, comfy sofa, a counter with bar stools, and a very stocked kitchenette.

It was great to have a small apartment including kitchen and separate bed- and bathroom, all four ourselves for a great price. The most amazing was that Jorge picked us up at the bus stop to show us around, a private mini-tour of Quepos, and also they were always available to help us out. Very very high in hospitality. Definitely a great place to stay that we would highly recommend!!
The only minor things were that we did not have a closet or some hooks to hang out our clothes (and we did not have warm water in the shower but that was fine in 30 degrees haha and would be fixed immediately after we left).
