Room was clean except for the floor. Bed was mostly memory foam top

Expensive and not a good stay

The young woman checking me in was very kind and welcoming. It was the only bright spot of the stay.

The room was fine - it was clean and quiet. The outside of the building had full trashcans sitting around and the sidewalks were filthy with mysterious spills. The outside felt really really dirty. The coffee was supposed to be ready at 6 am (there was a sign on the machine saying 6am) but when I went there at 6:45 am the door was locked and no coffee. Finally the door opened at 7am. For the price I paid (close to $100), this was NOT a good stay. I have stayed in many Motel 6's, this one was on the bottom.

we really had a great time and enticed outselves!

Great convenient location that was cleaner than the sounding area by far! The outside structure of the property seems somewhat dated, but don’t be fooled! This hotel was an amazing stay at a great price!

The property was great, but the surrounding areas of the city had so much trash. it was sad to see.

We were robbed & received NO assistance from management. Please read previous column.

My car was broken into during the night- I worked extensively with the front desk clerk to have the manager come in & review the security camera footage to see if there was enough to file a police report - that was 2 days ago and still no response from management. **The front desk clerk also informed us that she was also robbed at the facility while cleaning rooms - her coat w/credit cards &phone were stolen in broad daylight. Avoid this crime-ridden area of Carlsbad!

Disgusting, roaches

Good location decent price

So I got there about an hour early to see if they would let me check in like I've done at other motels. Lady at the front says "Come back at 1, usually 2 bit ill get you in at 1". I noted that check in time was 1 on their website. No biggie. I get to the room and the a/c cover was on the floor amd the inside of the a/c was showing and was disgustingly filthy. I was so tired from my drive I let it go, but immediately knew we were not sleeping under the covers here. There was writing in several places in the room, floors were disgusting. Rwmote doesnt work to the tv. Only one light above the bed worked. The smoke detector was unplugged and sitting on the table. Then there was a roach that crawled from the bathroom the final morning there. The final morning i pulled back the bed covers to find stained, nasty old sheets and blankets. Had I not been rushing from funeral to family, I would have complained, but I was just so emotionally distressed already that I couldn't bring myself to. The owners of this establishment should be ashamed.

An okay place to stay

Decent room, comfortable bed, didn't try the breakfast.

The tv remote wouldn't work with the TV. I couldn't change channels. So I left it off.

False advertising

The pool was nice.

They put us in a smoking room after I requested non-smoking. There were cigarette burns all through the blanket's. The smoke detector was disconnected. Hole in the wall. The door handle slash lock looked like someone had tried to pry it off with a crow bar . The bathroom floors were wet when we arrived. The pictures on the website are false advertising and looked nothing like the room we were in.

Comfortable

The room was clean and the beds were fairly comfortable. The pool was awesome and very sunny.

The room (with two full beds) was very small. There was not much room to move around in, let alone to set up a pack 'n play. The outside door opened up to a sidewalk and then the driveway, which made me a little nervous for my kids.

Other than the pool everything was better than expected, great price.

very clean, everything worked except tv and they replaced it right away much better over all then 10 years ago.

Pool was milky looking and the pump for the filter was not running, when asked if they could turn it on the reply was, "it wasn't time for the pool guy".
