The Grigsby House is a two-story, two-bedroom, two and a half bathroom charming townhouse located in the heart of downtown Bardstown. This property is within walking distance from historic Bardstown's main street, St. Joseph Basilica, The Oscar Getz Museum of Whiskey History and overlooks the Kentucky Bourbon Festival and Bardstown Arts and Crafts Fair.
There is one bedroom upstairs offering a King size bed with a full bath and dressing area and a flat screen TV. The downstairs bedroom offers a Queen size bed with a full bath and flat screen TV. We have a fully equipped kitchen with coffee maker and wine cooler. Each bathroom has a hair dryer, shampoo, lotions, toothpaste, and soap. There is a washer and dryer on site. The living room offers a flat screen TV with DVR.
The Grigsby House has a one car garage with three private parking spaces. The courtyard is nestled in the front of the property and overlooks the Kentucky Bourbon festival.
We are just steps away from numerous restaurants, bars and boutiques. A perfect get away for a weekend or extended stay in America's Most Beautiful Small Town.

The property was as described and better. The location was perfect for your stay in Bardstown. You can walk to many shops, restaurants and historical places. Dana was helpful with any questions we had. We plan to stay here on our next visit There is so much to see and do.

Grigsby House was the perfect location to enjoy the Bourbon Trail. The home was well equipped, very clean, with plenty of amenities and room for 2 couples. Host was great and quick to respond with any questions. We had a Fantastic time and would definitely stay again!

Having stayed at numerous properties, this one ranks at the top. We felt welcome. A unique combination of comfort, functionality, decor and location made our stay memorable. Easy access to bourbon trail exploration; wonderful small town with friendly people, history, nice shops and restaurants.

The Grigsby house is a cute 2 bedroom 2.5 bathroom townhouse. It's located in the heart of Bairdstown and just a short walk to the downtown area. We had enough space for four people. We even had use of the garage and the driveway is long enough to park two trucks. It's a safe area!
There is also a washer and dryer which was a plus. Our only con was to upgrade the TV to a smart TV in the living room. We had a great stay and would definitely stay here again!

Perfect property within walking distance of restaurants, shops and taverns! The interior and outdoor space was lovely and the off street parking off the lane was so convenient! The property exceeded our expectations in every way! Easy access to many distilleries and wineries. I highly recommend this exceptional townhome.

The cottage was easy to find and conveniently located. We enjoyed the courtyard in the front yard. Danna let us know about an ant problem and we made adjustments. Would stay here again.

On of my adult sons and I stayed at the Grigsby House for six nights while doing some bourbon trail touring and visiting relatives. It was perfect for us. There were two bedrooms both with in suite full bathrooms. Better yet one was upstairs and the other was down so when we'd had enough togetherness, we each had a private space to chill in. It's just over two blocks from the main bar, restaurant and shopping street. It was clean and nicely decorated and even had a garage which was nice on the one day it rained while we were there. Next stay in Bardstown I'll definitely try to book the place again.

It is evident that the owner cares - the house is decorated so comfortably with much attention to detail. This property far exceeded our expectations. So lovely in many ways. Very well thought out floor plan and furnishings make me think that an interior designer was involved with making it so wonderfully inviting. The outdoor patio area was so nice for sitting and having coffee in the morning and a glass of wine in the evening. We also enjoyed several walks around the neighborhood and downtown area. Everything seemed to be just a few blocks walking distance. We hope to return for another visit someday.

You know what happens: you book your vacation and accommodation, arrive to find not only did it not match what you thought you paid for, but appeared as if from another planet. Grigsby House far exceeded our expectations. Everything you might want was there, and was in excellent condition. The House is exceedingly comfortable. Location could not be better at 1 block from all things edible, drinkable, desirable. Bardsley is a gem of an old town. So all in all worth every penny. We will visit at least one more time and encourage friends to stay also.

We greatly enjoyed our stay, the house is centrally located in Bardstown within walking distance of several restaurants, bars and shops. The house was well appointed, very comfortable to and had everything we needed on our trip. Our group really enjoyed sitting out on the front patio after a couple days of touring distilleries. We arrived during a fall festival happening right out the front door, an unexpected surprise!

This is one of the best short term rentals I have ever stayed at. The service from management was impeccable and the home exceedingly nice and comfortable. Location, Rickhouse literally across the street, short drive to many great distilleries and a couple blocks from Scout & Scholar and Mammys (both are must visits)

We were very pleased with the property and pleasantly surprised that the online images accurately depicted the actual condition though once we saw it in person we were very impressed. A beautiful house and incredible location. We walked everywhere from the house while in town and only drove to destinations more distant. We found the residents in Bardstown very friendly and enjoyed our stay with plans to return soon for more exploring. We discovered the Civil War, Women in the Civil War and LtGen Hal Moore Museums and need to spend more time there. We are all looking forward to a return trip and we'll definitely look at staying at Grigsby House again. We'll be recommending this location to family and friends traveling to the area as well. Thanks for everything!!

Cute, Clean, and Comfortable
All essentials were met: nice towels and bedding, comfortable bed, toilet paper and tissue provided, etc. On top of that, this place is cute and nicely decorated. It is also within short walking distance of downtown Bardstown. The owner responded timely to my text about a minor question I had. Great stay for my husband and me!

Lovely home, great trip
The townhouse was perfect for2 couples. We each had our own en-suite bedroom! The townhouse was perfectly located within walking distance of the downtown. Besides the distilleries, we enjoyed My Old Kentucky Home State Park, Museum Row, as well as short trips to Churchill Downs and Claiborne farm. Great house, great location, great fun!

This was a lovely home for our stay in Bardstown to visit local distilleries . The home was clean, cozy, and within walking distance to downtown. The Host made us feel welcome from the moment we walked in the door. It was the perfect home away from home!

Can't imagine a better Bardstown stay
We stayed for 3 nights and can't imagine a better place to stay in Bardstown. Beautiful home so well decorated and spotlessly clean. Parking is easy. Downtown shops and restaurants are a short 2 block walk. A great steakhouse (The Rickhouse) is literally across the street. A wonderful VRBO experience.

We loved our stay at Grigsby House. The house is so well located and we could walk to all the restaurants and shops in Bardstown. Still, the location is very quiet.
The house is totally up to date and the decorating is awesome. The property was well stocked with toiletries as well as water bottles in the wine fridge. There is a nice outside seating area and there is an attached garage! Everything was in perfect order and very clean.
I would highly recommend this property and I would stay here again.

Fantastic downtown location with outdoor seating and thoughtful host
We spent three nights at Grigsby House and it was fantastic. The house is in a great location walkable to downtown. The house is clean and the pictures are accurate. Both bedrooms have comfortable beds and the associated bathrooms have good water pressure. The kitchen is nice sized and had everything you need. There is a nook out front with chairs for outdoor seating. The neighbors are kind. The hosts were very helpful and accommodating. This place almost feels like home. What a nice trip!
