About this house rental

Home is a cozy, colorful 3rd row beach view home with a 2 minute walk to the beach. It has 3 bedrooms and 2 full baths (1 full bath is located on the ground level). Two bedrooms each have queen-size beds; the third has 2 pyramid bunk beds. All bedrooms have a 32" flat screen TV with satellite. The roomy living area has ample seating including a large sofa-bed, a 48” flat screen television with satellite, and a DVD player. Kitchen amenities include a full-size fridge with ice maker, stove, oven, microwave, garbage disposal, dishwasher, coffee-maker, a compact stacked washer-dryer, dining room table for 6 and a bar with 3 stools. Outside the home there is a large deck with table and chairs which has varied views of the beach as well as sounds of the surf and constant gulf breezes. The downstairs has an outdoor shower, a charcoal grill, and a picnic table—just a quick stroll away is the beach. The Coral Cottage is located in Bermuda Beach, just over 6 miles from 61st street, with easy access to Galveston dining, entertainment, and services.

The propert was very clean. Did not care for the bathroom dividing the bedrooms. Also would have liked a walk through with host before our stay due to some imperfections of the property. Loved the quite neighborhood and access to the beach

This was a family vacation for us. The location was perfect. It was so easy to walk to the beach and walk back home. The outside shower was very helpful. There is only one restroom upstairs so it can get crowded but of course we already knew that. The second restroom is downstairs along with some beach toys the kids can use. That was perfect for us because we forgot to bring the kids sand toys! The TVs are a little old so they are frustrating to deal with. The AC worked great so we were able to stay cool and comfortable. The beds overall were ok. One of the beds in the bunk bed room really should be replaced. Overall very satisfied with our stay. The guest was friendly and reachable. We had no issues with our stay. We would definitely book again.

We arrived at our wonderful vacation home for the weekend and besides the spaciousness and cleanliness, it was literally a 1-minute walk to the beach! The home was just close enough to grocery stores and shopping but just out of the way enough of the crazy hustle and bustle of the seawall! Absolutely loved the peace and silence and was great to come home after a long day at the beach to a nice home-cooked meal! The beds are more than comfortable and we're very tough to get out of 😆 Will definitely be coming back again!

Christine was very attentive to our needs. The A/C was not working properly in the bedroom with the bunk beds so an a/c tech came out the next day to work on it. After that it was cooling much better. There is 1 bathroom in between 2 of the bedrooms so if you don’t mind going through one bedroom to get to the bathroom your experience will be a good stay. There is a small bathroom downstairs that is not air conditioned with a walk- in shower, toilet and small sink. I would say other then the a/c issue our stay was a great one! I liked how the property was ready for us and the keys were inside the property ready for our stay. The house could have had more of a beach vibe to it in decorations. My family and I will stay here again in the future! I like how amenities and attractions were not far from the Seawall!

It was a great experience! The location to the ocean, Walmart, and Schlitterbahn water park. We spent all our time enjoying our visit and little time on the road. The house was very clean and organized with home furnishings. It was the best vacation any of us to ask for. Thank you so much!!!!

This house is perfect for a smaller group. We had 7. The communication with the owner was super and the house was ideally located just a short walk from a quiet beach. The only drawback was that the second bathroom is downstairs and there was no fan in the bunk bed room which made it very stuffy. Overall the place is excellent and we’d visit again.

This house is perfect for a small amount of people just looking to get away for a weekend! House was clean and the host was extremely friendly! No complaints other than if you have a large group the one bathroom in the house might be a bit challenging. All in all, a wonderful vacation rental!

First night the closest door fell on one of my grandkids then fell on my daughter no porch light and no lights on the steps there was a light there but could not find where to turn it on sent a message about the closest and asking how to get theses light on and no battery in any of the remotes sent a message about everything and she only responded about the battery second day we found out that the upper deck was not safe for kids or adults so we had to sit down under the house then me and my daughter went to sit out on the deck after the kids fell asleep and the chair my daughter sat in broke cause it was monkey rigged together 2 out of the 4 chairs was like that and on Saturday after we had been there for two days and my grandkids was playing in the grass for two days and we found the sewer was leaking in the yard I was so mad I sent a text to the property manager about everything and all she said was sorry I will send your text to the owner unacceptable and the house is for sell and some guy came on Saturday asking if he could see the inside I told him no not sure if the realtor told him to stop by and ask or if he just did that on his own but to me that’s not ok I have rented down there for 10 years now I have to say that was horrible if you have kids this house is not good for kids

We really enjoyed our stay at this property and Christine was very nice to work with. I’m not sure that we would stay here again with a large group. The description does say that there are 2 bathroom and one is down stairs, but it does not tell you that the downstairs bathroom is completely out of the main part of the house. It is located in a storage room and it is not air conditioned and all most none of the outlets work. You also had to dodge all kinds of spiders and bugs if you went down there to use the restroom. That was a bit of a disappointment. We had 2 small babies who needed to nap and it was hard for anyone to use the indoor restroom because it was between the 2 bedrooms. But, we did our best and made it work. The kitchen was pretty well stocked, but could use some sharp knives and a few more storage type containers. Be ready to lug all of your things up the flight of stairs because the lift did not work. Overall, this was a nice place to stay and we enjoyed being so close to the water.

We really enjoyed our stay. We were mainly in Galveston to enjoy the beach with our party of 8 that included adults and teens. The location was great and just a short walk to the beach. The house was cozy. The kitchen was stocked with everything needed to prepare meals. We enjoyed dinner on the outside porch. There is one main bathroom that was stocked with towels. There is also a washer and dryer. The other bathroom is on the parking level. Christine was great at communicating details for our arrival and departure.

This house was exactly as advertised, clean, close to the beach and easy access to all things in Galveston. Get away from the hustle and bustle of the Strand and the Seawall and relax just a short walking distance to the beach. The beach is a pedestrian beach, so no traffice, its really quiet and safe for small children. The house was spacious and the beds comfortable. We had access to everything we needed. The deck faces the beach and makes for a lovely place to relax for the evening.

The host was great at communicating with us and answering our call when we had any questions. Check in was a breeze. Our party of 9 were quite comfortable here. The house was well stocked with plenty of linens and dishes for our stay. The dishwasher and washer/dryer made it easy to keep things tidy while we enjoyed our time at the beach. My only issue was with the bathroom situation . We didn’t realize that the downstairs bath was only accessible from outside and the main bath upstairs is adjacent only to the two main bedrooms which meant that during the night we worried about waking those sleeping in those bedrooms. Overall it was a great experience and I would definitely recommend it ❤️

Great location

It’s third row but you still have a pretty decent view of the ocean, and it’s a very short walk to the beach. The kitchen was well stocked and they have a brand new charcoal grill. You just need to go into it with reasonable expectations. The upstairs bathroom is a Jack and Jill so larger groups will be constantly dealing with that. The downstairs bathroom isn’t air conditioned so we never used it for showers, just a convenient commode when we were hanging out downstairs. The upstairs balcony light was broken and 2 of the 4 downstairs lights didn’t work, so that was a small inconvenience. Overall, a nice place to stay for the price.
