My family and I had such an amazing time in Sequim. There was 20 of us and all age ranges from toddlers to retirees - everyone really enjoyed everything the property had to offer. We utilized it all - pizza oven, grill, hot tub, game room, TV, kitchen, large dining table, roaming around the grass. The best part everyone enjoyed was the beautiful view from the patio - many meals were had staring out to the horizon, and waking up to this view was priceless. Grateful for the memories we made here.
The location was great to explore Sequim and other surrounding areas too. Convenient to Costco and supermarkets and anything you need as well. Enjoyed Dungeness Spit and the flea market that's on Saturday mornings.
Martha was more than accommodating and responsive to all my questions beforehand, even provided extra outdoor tables and chairs for a planned dinner party outside. She's a fantastic host. Thank you!

We had a great time at the lodge!! Such a great property for a large group. Plenty of bedrooms for everyone to have their own space and large common areas as well. Great house with an amazing location! Thanks!

Our large family get together was overall fantastic. The outdoor area was delightful and offered a bit for everyone. The kids enjoyed the game room and a few adults took advantage of the hot tub. The rooms were spacious and did accommodate our group. During the day the rooms upstairs did get rather warm but did cool off at night. The basement rooms were like an icebox day and night so those that sleep hot go downstairs! Be aware that the room with two queen beds and bunk bed are detached from the house with a port-a-potty available outside. We originally had kids assigned to this room before arrival and had to do some room changes after knowing this. Brush up on your pizza oven skills beforehand…it was our first time using one and we were not that successful in getting it hot enough. But we had a great time and do recommend this property for large extended families. Location was great.

Our family of 7 adults and 5 teenagers loved this house a couple miles up the hill from Sequim. The house has everything and is well stocked. Great games, hot tub, and A/C! It is an awesome place, very quiet and private in a forest on a hill.

The house worked perfectly for our 14 family members. Lots of room choices. The house was very well stocked. The grounds are beautiful. The hot tub and fire pit were great. We tried out the wood-fired pizza oven and the pizza turned out perfect. The deer and frogs(frogs in a small natural pond in the nearby forest) were a major hit with the kids.

Everything that you'd want, need, or dream of is in this house. The communication, preparation, and attention to detail was the best we have ever experienced. Thank you for an amazing stay!

Our friends and family came from all over the states and even the Netherlands to stay at this lodge. We absolutely adored it. Lots of room for parking. The lodge genuinely sleeps the amount listed if needed. Our group didn’t feel cramped and we all felt as though there were so many different spaces to hang out/sprawl out too. Whether it was the fire pit, hot tub, wrap around balcony, game room etc. There were ample linens, extra towels, blankets etc. The beds were comfortable. We loved the big kitchen for cooking, roomy refrigerator and pizza oven outside. The table by the pizza oven has a shuffle board game underneath which was a hit! The lodge was easy to find through GPS and provided lots of privacy. The view is stunning and the pictures online do not do this place justice! It had a little something for everyone and our group has been raving about it still. Martha was great too. She answered a lot of my questions while we were planning and was very gracious. We would gladly revisit and recommend this place to anyone with a bigger group.

The thing I was most thrilled about is that the fridge was clean and EMPTY! No leftover things to shuffle around that always limit space. It was wonderful to have a full fridge/freezer to use. There were a couple “quirks” mentioned in the welcome book. Why not just fix those? We very much enjoyed our stay.

Our group of 8 adults needing 5 bedrooms LOVED the lodge. We used the hot tub, fire pit, we cooked in the kitchen, used washer/dryer. Everything was great, clean, well-organized. Beds and furniture comfortable. View was fantastic. Convenient to the north side of the national forest and to the Dungeness Spit area. Close to Sequim, on Saturday morning we went to the outdoor market there and some of the shops.
We would love to stay here again.

Had a wonderful experience! The home is beautiful, grand and somehow still cozy. Everything we could have needed was available. The views were exceptional and grounds were clean and expansive. We were able to see clear across the water to Canada which allowed us to really enjoy the Northern Lights which reached us for the weekend. Excellent location with so much to do in the surrounding areas. One of my favorite rentals I’ve stayed in.

Our family had a wonderful time coming together at the Huge Log Lodge in Sequim for 3 nights. The lodge was big, but felt cozy. Everything we needed to cook and serve meals was in the kitchen. And the decor chosen for each room made it feel more like a home. Also, our host was perfect! We highly recommend the Lodge!

My family and I really enjoyed our stay in this home!! Martha had beautiful holiday decorations all over the lodge, which made it extra magical. It seriously felt like it was out of a movie 😍
The short drive to Walmart and Costco, the large well-supplied kitchen, and long dining room table were super helpful for our Thanksgiving meal and prep. The home had 5 bedrooms (2 upstairs, 2 downstairs, 1 master) and a sleeping cabin outside with additional beds (and lots of other hideaway beds we didn't end up needing). We had 11 guests. Everyone had their own space to relax. We really appreciated that Martha was accommodating to us bringing pets, so we could have the whole family celebrate together. The Sequim Dog Park is just a short drive into town, so we visited there a few times to tire out our dogs since the lodge doesn't have a fenced yard. We also checked out some dog-friendly trails nearby (like the Spruce Railroad trail) since the dogs aren't allowed on the national park trails.
WiFi wasn't super speedy, but it was sufficient.
Overall, great stay in a beautiful home. We would highly recommend it to others!

This is an amazing cabin that is fully and generously stocked to provide a relaxing vacation. The furniture, the pantry, the games and hot tub were all appreciated on our family vacation. Cooking was easy because the kitchen and outdoor grills had everything we needed. The views of the meadow were relaxing. Thank you for a beautiful stay. We loved the town of Sequim, the National Park, and this special place.

This spacious log home is located on a beautiful forested meadow. From our balcony and large picture windows, we were able to see deer grazing in the wide grassy meadow in front of our cabin. The cabin is surrounded by large pine trees and beautiful landscaping. The cabin has large rooms that are great for gathering groups for meals and around a beautiful stone fireplace. All of the rooms are furnished beautifully and with care. We had 19 family members with us, and there was plenty of sleeping space and gathering places. The cabin was clean and inviting in every way. It is located in the beautiful little town of Sequim, which has many beautiful places to visit and enjoy. It is also a good jumping off place for the many breathtaking sites of the Olympic Peninsula.

Our large extended family thoroughly enjoyed staying for our latest family reunion. Beautiful setting, comfortable facility. Highly recommended!
5.0 / 5.0
Pros: spacious, hot tub ( set to a mild temp good for kids), game room, views, easy and personable communication with the owner, detailed and funny welcome booklet, shampoo, conditioner, soap, coffee, spices all provided, easy access to many scenic areas and hikes, this would be great for Xmas, you feel like you are in The Sound of Music
Cons: driveway is narrow (but we had huge rental SUVs), maybe too much Coca Cola memorabilia making it feel cramped, slow wifi, needs better lighting in the walk-in cupboard

We came here 10 years ago for a milestone anniversary and came back this year for another one - each time with a group of friends to celebrate with.
I cannot tell you how lovely this lodge is! And it's been improved since our first visit. There are five bedrooms in the main lodge, plus a cabin large enough for a family near the house.
One of the best - and most unexpectedly helpful- features of the house was the central air conditioning - it was hot this weekend, and Sequim is sunny! Two other very helpful features: one of the bedrooms has a sliding glass door that opens onto the yard - fabulous if part of your group includes friends with furry family members. Additionally - and this is not likely to be a concern elsewhere, but one of the bedrooms is light-safe. We had a family with us whose child has xeroderma pigmentosum and having one interior bedroom with no windows was *SO* helpful. It's also nice if you personally really like it to be dark to sleep :-) The new cabin has two queen beds and a bunk bed, which was a huge hit for us, as well - at least those of us who needed a little peace and quiet from the fun in the main house. One note- the cabin does not have its own restroom or kitchen, so you'll need to visit the main house for those, but it's a short walk, and the cabin has very helpful outdoor lighting all around.
Beyond all the bedrooms and dedicated sleeping spaces, there were beds and pullout couches galore. Two of our kids decided they wanted a sleepover *not* in the parents' rooms, so they got a little nook with a bed and a pullout couch. There's one big space for this and one small space for this upstairs, a big pullout on the bottom floor *and* a pullout in the master suite as well as a hideaway bed in the (very large) closet in the master. So, basically, a million places to sleep if you're gathering with several families.
We love the layout, the cleanliness, the amount of space, the view and trust me - all the little touches are there. We frequently find we have to bring extras along when visiting VRBOs, especially to the kitchen, but not here! Everything you could think of was already there :-)
We got lucky and happened to be there the weekend of the logging festival and got to watch fireworks from the hot tub. The fire pit was easy to use for s'mores for the kids. Basically, it's just the best. Thank you, thank you to our hosts - we can't wait to come again (but we might not wait for a milestone to do it!).

Martha’s home was perfect for our stay! We’d definitely return if the opportunity presents itself. Thank you so much Martha!

This turned out to be a very good choice for 19 members of our family to gather 5 months after the passing of my father, and to offer a couple hours’ gathering for some local friends to join in a memorial. Everything functional, well appointed and comfortable. We especially appreciated the baby apparatus and the games in the garage. We would have appreciated some options for creating more private space for sleeping—there were many beds, but many of the options were shared space.

We all (young & old & in betweener's) were impressed with everything to do with our experience and just how easy it is to rent with Martha!
And I must give the housekeeper(s) a 5-star rating too! For such a huge place it was so very clean! Thank you for your hard efforts-they did not go unnoticed!

Would highly recommend!! Everything you could ever need is there! you wouldn't have to leave if you didn't want too. Was so relaxing sitting in the hot tub we even got to watch the deer every night. Martha was amazing and so easy to work with. One of the best places we have been too.

This is our second time staying at the lodge, it is a wonderful place to visit! We had 4 families staying and had plenty of room for everyone! The older kids had a blast in the game room playing ping pong and air hockey. The hot tub was very relaxing. The area is quiet and the roads were great to run on, not a lot of traffic and beautiful farms. The Olympic Game Farm is a 15 minute drive and is fun for the whole family. Martha is the best host- very accommodating and responsive. For large gatherings this is an amazing rental!

Multi generations of family here between the 13 of us, and we have stayed her for many years every February. Truley had all the essentials regarding sleeping and cooking. Bring a couple baby gates for the lodge stairs that have gaps, but otherwise it's very well set up for all ages. Owner is available and helpful, great place to stay!!

The lodge was the perfect getaway for our staff to strategize and plan for the upcoming year. The space lends itself to meetings and leisure. The kitchen is a wonderful spot to start the day, and you can cook and chat at the same time.
The lodge was full of fun little touches and attention to detail.
Highly recommended.
