Had a pancake maker as well as cold food options. Room was great though. Tv was decent. Location was next to the train and Target was a 10 minute walk away. Overall top tier spot.
Nothing much. Wish they had a waffle maker 😕.

Probably one of the newest hotel in this area. Room is spacious and has some modern design like very wide space that you can put your luggage. Staff are friendly and helpful.
1. I understand this is a airport hotel. But this hotel is not just close to the airport, it’s close to the runway of the airport! The location of this hotel is just under the flight path of planes. You can hear crazy noise from airplane take off or touch down. Especially touch down! You can even feel the vibrations when planes touch down.
2. Breakfast is not good quality and limited choices compared to the other popular brands of hotel. It’s not just bad quality, they are not refill the breakfast in time. I heard other guests complain about this issue during my stay.
3. The most unbearable part during my stay is the cleaness of the room. You can see hair from other guests on your pillow and bed sheet. It even has blood on the bed sheet and the dead body of small bug on bed sheet. I understand the laundry department might missed that blood spot on bed sheet. But how can the house keeping staff missed that blood spot also?!?!

Location. Value and comfort.
I would say the load planes in the morning but again we’re near the airport.

Loved the spacious rooms.
Our flight was delayed and we arrived at 11pm, too late for their shuttle. ;(
8.0
Close to PDX and comfortable. Included breakfast
I know there was an ice storm but the sidewalk from back parking lot was dangerous. Needed ice removed and/or salt.
7.0
Close to the airport and convenient for traveling in and out of Portland. Property is clean, free breakfast and staff friendly.
Stayed here a few times before, but this time there was problems with the shuttle. When I called for pickup, they ended up having to call a third party and there was 45 minutes of back and forth trying to identify what van would be pulling into a busy airport. It was frustrating for ourselves and the new driver.
If I had to nitpick any more, the sheets are “loud”. It’s a weird statement, but the material is odd and when anyone moves around in the bed, you can hear it! LOL.

Physical premises are terrific and it´s close to both the Max line and airport.
The staff wereńt too efficient when I was checking. I watched person at reception talk on the phone for five minutes. A second person appeared but couldńt log into the system. I was the only customer.

There was a free shuttle pickup service from the airport. The location was great since it was very close to the light rail public transportation that goes directly into downtown Portland. The king suite was large in size. The bed and pillows were very comfortable and we had a restful sleep. The TV was mounted on a fixture that allows you to tilt the TV left and right so you can either view it on the sofa or bed. The bathroom was large, the shower head water pressure was strong, and hot water was almost instantly ready. The hot breakfast was delicious and had a good variety. There's a neat pancake maker and the cheese omelet was delicious.
There's no bathtub in our room but those seems to be a rarity it seems.

The location was good because it was close to the airport.
The room was good because it was spacious and clean.
The breakfast was good and the coffee was good.
The shuttle bus to the airport was good and efficient.
We arrived at the hotel around 8:50 p.m. on the 19th of September.
A man at the reception desk was arrogant and unkind.
It was unfortunate because all other aspects of the hotel were excellent.
In contrast, when we checked out around 4:20 a.m. on the next day, a lady at the reception desk was very nice and kind.
Thanks to the lady, we could leave the hotel with good feelings.

The shuttle bus to PDX airport was very convenient since I had a very early flight. The hotel was quite convenient as it was close to the bus stop of MAX shuttle(on behalf of Red line MAX shuttle which is undergoing a renovation).
The nearest bus stop is Mt. Hood. I even used the shuttle to get to the shopping area (Old Navy, Banes&Nobles, Banana Republic factory, etc. )from the hotel. It was only one stop away from Mt. Hood called Cascade.
I found the cloth chair in my room to be dirty with food leftovers and some hair on it. Even I cleaned it myself, I no longer wanted to sit on it.
I wish they had a cafe or a restaurant in the hotel as there was no where decent to eat around the hotel.

No parking fee! Breakfast was good. Room was nice and roomy.
Had a funny smell coming from the bathroom sink. Told the staff and took care of it.

Near to few big stores. Free parking
This is the worst Holiday Inn property we have ever been to. The staff is here to give the brand a bad name.
Not at all a pleasant stay.
We were on a week's vacation last week and after reading reviews went to this hotel. The hotel is quite close to Airport and we arrived at 1am.
The front desk staff said all the rooms are booked. Then she said can't book the room as she doesn't have the skills to book a room after midnight.
Asked how the bathroom is and she had no idea. Asked us to see the photos on Google reviews.
Quite surprising for a Holiday inn staff to say so.
We booked through an online website and it took her 30 mins to check and confirm.
Agreed to take cash while checkout and pre authorised my card.
The parking is free and breakfast is served.
We paid cash for 3 days and extended our day for 4th day.
On checkout, the staff charged my card and when asked to take cash payment for 4th day, she denied.
Said she is new staff and doesn't know how to process cash payment and refund card payment.
It was my international credit card and as I had USD, I preferred paying cash so I asked for someone who has the ability to do so.
She denied to call the manager or another staff who had the rights to do so from the system.
After 5 mins, she asked us to leave the property and left the front desk
Later the manager named Ally came.
She initially showed as is willing to help but after a min, gave us an excuse of calling booking.com. Went inside the back office and called the Portland police.
It took 30 mins to make police understand what we wanted and then 45 mins more for police to ask the staff to accept cash and refund card payment.
It was a simple job for which this Holiday Inn staff took more than an hour.
We stayed at Holiday inn properties in Tacoma, Seattle, Aubarn and they never had any issues with accepting cash payment.
The staff in this property has both skill and will issue.

The staff is not competent enough to take care of your needs. Most of the time they have an excuse of being a new staff with no skills.
They took cash payment and also charged my card for which I have not received the refund yet. Its almost a week now.
The manager Ally said - We should be thankful to the staff who works here as not many want to work. She forgot to mention that - The hotel should be thankful to the customers who come here to stay as that's what pays your staffs wages. No customers No Business

Easy shuttle ride to airport
A bit run down.

Decent breakfast to get the day started. Simple cheese omelet, orange juice, coffee with half & half, just like home.
We fly in late evening so something close to Portland Airport is needed with a comfortable bed.
The shuttle from the airport stops running at 11:00 pm. This is not conducive for us since our flight arrived after 11:00 pm. We needed to get alternative transportation to the property and we weren't aware of this.

Room was clean and comfortable.
Morning breakfast was poorly refilled. Came to breakfast at 0915 am and there was no entrées left prepared. Was told that breakfast was closing in 5 min... I said 15 min at 0930. Came 0830 the next morning and nothing left cooked but bacon. Orange juice was water..no coffee...poorly managed. HOLIDAY EXPRESS you could do better.
Had a great breakfast in Pascoe, Washington at Holiday Express for 2 days before. Certainly could compare the difference in quality.
