Welcome to The Sea Turtle! Newly constructed (April 2017) Beachfront home on the Gulf of Mexico on beautiful Dauphin Island. Sweeping views of the Gulf of Mexico and Mississippi Sound.

2 Oceanfront King Master bedrooms with en suite master baths with large walk-in showers.

The living area features deep, comfortable sofas and a 65” TV with DirectTV Satellite Choice 180+ channel package. There are TVs in every bedroom also. The house has wireless internet - wifi - throughout.

The kitchen is fully stocked with new high end Whirlpool appliances, Keurig & drip coffee makers, crockpot, and more. You will find a full size, high end, commercial grade Maytag Washer and Dryer set in the laundry area. A starter set of paper products and soaps are provided.

As beautiful as the house is, it doesn't compare to what awaits you out the back door. You will spend the majority of your time soaking up the sun outside! The sand is soft and the beach goes on in both directions as far as the eye can see. Spend the day watching boats pass by, see pods of dolphins swimming, interact with heron, pelicans, and other coastal birds fishing on the shore. Splash in the waves and find abundant sea shells. Fishing right on the shore is fun and easy. We have a fish cleaning station under the house for your convenience.

Dauphin Island is quiet and serene. This is a place you come to get away from it all. Rent bikes and explore the island shops and restaurants. Do some fishing. Go swimming. Relax the day away.

The Sea Turtle is a great home with plenty of room for a big family to get together. This home is right on the beach just perfect for enjoying the water for a few minutes or the whole day. So nice to be able just to walk back to the house for a minute then right back down again. This house has everything we needed. We liveed it.

Excellent layout that nicely accommodates a large group. Well stocked and spacious kitchen. Nice space under the house for relaxing and cooking out. Nice to have two grills for a large family. Great covered porch overlooking gulf and beach. Beachside porch could use a couple more chairs. We had a great week and thoroughly enjoyed the house.

Despite the unseasonably cool weather, we thoroughly enjoyed our January stay. The house was perfect with a well stocked kitchen. We loved sitting on the deck and walking the beautiful sand beach with our dog. We’re from MN, but we hope to be back.

I could not have been happier with the Sea Turtle beach house!. The kitchen was stocked with everything you could possibly need to cook delicious meals. The layout of the house and all the bedrooms were very spacious and inviting. The beds were all very comfortable and plenty drawer and closet space for all your belongings. Upon arrival, there were no issues gaining entry and the house was immaculate. Nothing to do but relax and enjoy. Highly recommend and we will be back!! Billie R., St. Louis

This is our 3rd time staying at the Sea Turtle. The house has all the room our party needed. We love the location! House is fully equipped with everything. Dauphin Island is a great place to relax and unwind, especially in November. Plenty of restaurants and sites to visit. The only thing I would ask the owners to consider installing a lift. I'm 61 and it's getting harder to get everything upstairs. Overall, excellent place.

Beautiful house! The house had everything we needed, and the beach in front of the house was perfect. The men caught fish (even a couple sharks)! We watched beautiful sunrises and sunsets as well as watched dolphins each day. We could not have asked for a better week away from home!

Wonderful vacation!!! Plenty of room for 8 adults and 5 children. Very clean. We enjoyed sitting on the deck watching the sun rise and set on the ocean. The beach was the “back yard” which was great for the grandchildren to go out anytime. We plan to go to this same location again. Everything was great!

Melissa’s beach house was a treat to stay in. The combination of the clean, uncluttered design plus direct access off the spacious deck to a private beach equaled the best rest and relaxation that we could have hoped for. There was a slight hiccup with housekeeping upon arrival, which Melissa addressed right away. She was very easy to communicate with, and wanted to make sure that all was taken care of immediately, which it was. We will definitely stay here again!

Dauphin Island was a great location! We've stayed on many islands and this one was the best! Quick/easy trip to the mainland for anything you couldn't find on the island. Remember to make reservations if you plan to dine out. The house was very well aquainted. It had everything we could need, even an air fryer! We did have to go buy beach chairs as the rental place was all out. But dollar general had plenty and was a quick drive. The beach was perfect! Soft sand and warm easy water. Host was very cordial! She checked in to make sure everything was going well and was quick to respond to every question. Thank you for opening your gorgeous beach house to us!

We had a great time. We loved everything about the house. Loved the fact that we just stepped off the steps right on to the beach. Owner texted me while we were on our way to the house to let us know that there had been minor damage to the house during storms the night before. This in no way affected our stay. Had one very minor issue with the dryer. Owner texted my back quickly and we were able to resolve the problem. Would highly recommend this house to any large families looking to spend time on Dauphin Island.

Perfect place for my retirement celebration for our family. Kids, parents, and grandparents all loved the house. Enough bedrooms and bathrooms that everyone enjoyed their privacy, but also loved the ability to gather in common areas like the kitchen/dining/living room/deck/beach areas. Beautifully furnished, and included all the amenities we needed for cooking and serving all our own meals.

Fabulous place for a family vacation, absolutely no complaints. All the rooms were large and a great family room and kitchen as well. Other reviewers commented on the refrigerator, as long as you follow the instructions on the fridge no issues.

Stayed for a week in April. The home we stayed in was beautiful and the beachfront location of the home was fantastic!! Entire check in and check out process was simple. Had elderly family members with us that had trouble on the stairs so just something to consider if you’re traveling with older folks. We had a wonderful time!

This house was a great size for our group of 10. We had plenty of room to spread out and be comfortable. The views were amazing. Seeing dolphins was the highlight of the entire trip. I will say the fridge had problems keeping up with us, the pans were not great to cook with, it was dusty in certain areas and you have to make sure to bring your own paper towels, toilet paper, dishwasher soap, laundry soap and trash bags since they only provide the first set. The island was beautiful and we enjoyed our week on the beach

We were looking for a place on the beach and would fit our family. This was perfect. Steps from the beach and not huge but the perfect size. Everything was great other then the refrigerator (which I seen other comments about that) not sure the problem. I have stayed in Vrbo rental a lot and never had a problem with refrigerator not cooling after being cleaned. We had to throw out $50 worth of meat that turned about the refrigerator didn’t keep cold the first 2 days. Really no other concerns would stay again.

The house was beautiful, very spacious, perfect location, but tried to email homeowner multiple times about issues that needed to be addressed, with no response. Very poor communication about lighting issues, mold, and the dryer acting up.
