Very nice and quite

We had a great time staying here. The cottage was perfect and we had no problems communicating with the host nor the property manager. We had one little issue with the gate not opening and within minutes the manager had resent a code to open the gate! We would definitely stay here again. We loved the pool (which was very well maintained) and the beach of course. We loved the look of the cottage. It was an old beach cottage that was beautifully decorated!

Great little place in a nice location. We love the old Florida vibe.

Really close to everything we wanted to do. Quiet and peaceful. Absolutely loved our stay

This was an older ran down cottage in need of a really good deep clean and some repairs. There were lots of bugs inside and out. It is Florida but the older windows and sliding door that gapped at the top didn’t help this. The mini blinds are torn up so you can see through windows. The shower was not ideal, the set up and the flimsy curtain didn’t make showering easy. Some of the perks of the place were the pool and fishing dock within walking distance. It was nice after a day at the beach or a night you want to stay in to relax by the pool or watch the boats go by. Make sure to bring fishing poles if you want to fish. There were fishing poles on our back deck but none of them had reels to be able to fish not sure if they were left by past guests or if they are the rental companies. There is beach access but you have to hoof pretty far to get to it. Across the road and through another resort down a long road and then through the access to the beach. All and all for the money it’s a decent place for the area. If you want to be near the night life within walking distance you need to stay closer to sieste key. If you don’t mind walking it’s under 3 miles to shopping and eateries or you can hop on one of the free transportation busses and just tip the driver.

This little cottage served our purpose very well. We loved the location on the Key and enjoyed our stay sitting under the old pin oak tree out front. My wife had a broken arm and was convalescing during our ten day stay and enjoyed the Gulf Breezes, watching the rabbits, squirrels and watching the different birds. We would rent the cottage again in the future.

Communication poor. Asked for more towels no response. Not very clean, left it cleaner than we arrived. Beach is estimate one mile it’s longer than you think … 2 mile hard walk both ways. Chairs to use old and falling apart for beach. A wagon to carry items would make it easier. Trolleys don’t run that often and you need to walk a block n a half to catch. The nicest thing was private beach access even though long ways to walk when heat index 112. Won’t be back over rated. Very crowded. Much calmer beaches.

Comfortable little cottage. Had all the amenities needed except an iron. Everything else was perfect. We were able to go across the street to the beach in the morning and go fishing in the backyard in the evening. They also had a wonderful relaxing swimming pool. It is a little walk to the beach when you have to carry cooler, backpack chairs and snacks. Would have made the trip perfect if they had a wagon to isey. But regardless, highly recommend this place!!! Will definitely come back.

Great spot on bay side of Siesta Key. 4 min walk to Crescent Beach. The 1 bedroom is spacious with private deck. However the stand alone cabin needs an upgrade.

The property was perfect for myself and my spouse. It is in a perfect location. Within walking distance to the beach and also multiple places to eat and shop. It was very cozy and quaint. It had everything we needed!

The cabin was wonderful! It was stocked with everything we needed and was neat and clean. We especially appreciated the beach chairs, towels and umbrella. The only thing we were not clear on was how to access the beach across the street. Not a big deal as siesta beach is not far from here at all. Nice little walk.

Compact space but had everything needed; appreciated the towels and the bed was very comfortable; relaxing, loved the pool and grill area by the fishing pier
Right in the heart of SK, but so quiet and peaceful
Thank you for this quaint “old Florida” experience

It’s an older building (1940’s?) that has a old time beech “camp” feel but has been done up nicely inside. You could say its well loved. Great access to bay and Crescent beach. I would definitely stay there again. Totally enjoyed my time. Pool area was excellent. I was able to put my kayak in the bay off of the seawall. There’s also a fishing dock a nice dock for boats that I assume was part of the club. The mattress and pillows were low quality. But other than that the place was great.

We love this quiet, simple complex. It's nothing fancy but it's perfect for a cozy getaway. We've been going there for years!

This was our second year staying in the cottage and we had an even better time! We love that it’s so close to the beach but you also can’t beat the pool area with the view of the bay! Beautiful! Will be back!

Great little cottage that had all we needed after flying in for a long weekend. We like the old Florida vibe with easy beach access. We will be back sometime soon. Rae was easy to work with.

Great location across street to beach, shuttles are free plus tip, love the option to watch sunrise on dock ever morning over the intercoastal sunset on gulf.
The check in process was confusing but the proi live 40 mins away , perty owner/ manager handled issue promptly.
This place is old style inside. Not very clean. Blinds all broken, windows dirty, tv didnt work, could use a paint job.
It was fine for our purpose.
Location, pool & bbq.
Onsite washer dryer but only takes quarters or google pay .
Would be nice to have a change machine. I live 40 mins south and put my sheets over theirs & brought own towels.

This was the perfect little vacation for my girlfriend and I. The place was perfectly located with easy access to all in Siesta Key and the beach too!

This was the perfect place to stay and I will definitely be recommending it to my friends and family. It is plenty big for two people but 3 or 4 could easily enjoy it as well. I loved being able to go sit by the dock at night and watch the boats go by. It is also not too far from the beach and the trolley is very nice to have access to. The trees are also perfect for setting up hammocks. There is nothing i would change about my experience 10/10!

It was a nice stay.

Property manager Rae or owner Ellen never responded to any texts or calls for our three week stay.
Only one beach gate fob, coffee pot overflowed every morning, kitchen countertop rotting out from below at sink, toilet runs . Its a shame because it's a cute little cottage ,close to the pool, intercoastal fishing pier and beach.
10.0
Ellen's property was very comfortable. It's very much a traditional old Florida cottage that has everything you need for a relaxing vacation. It was very clean and well-stocked in terms of kitchen utensils and general amenities and all of the mechanicals worked just fine. The cottage is cozy, yet spacious enough for two and perhaps much if needed. The private beach access is a real plus and pool is terrific. Despite the red tide event, (which affected the entire gulf coast), our stay was wonderful and we would definitely choose this again. Best of all, everything worked like it should (TV remote, A/C thermostat, light switches, etc.) ....no surprises, which is really nice when you're on vacation.
